@sergeantcommandroid Yes all computer have SATA ports but laptops, net tops, netbooks etc, have them but they are usually being used by internal components such as the hardrive. Desktops can have alot of free SATA Ports inside. If you don't have a desktop I would recommend buying the xbox360Pro so you can connect your disk drive into your computer through USB. @paparazzikidd It depends what computer you have got if you've got a desktop you can open it up and connect your Xbox cd drive into a SATA port but if you have a laptop or something with no inside SATA ports you have to buy a xbox360pro this allows you to connect your Xbox cd drive to your computer using USB :)
to connect the drive to a laptop could you use SATA to USB to connect to computer then a power supply used for external pc dvd drives instead of 360 pro and all that.
So you connect a USB that is configured to Xbox 360 to the computer and just leave the Xbox 360 wires plugged in and then you do the rest on the computer right?
If your jungleflasher is not detecting your drive, make sure the drive is half open Boot into Windows, start the xbox 360 and make the drive on it half open by blocking it. Just eject the 360 drive , once its ejected pull the power lead from the dvd drive, close tray halfway, put dvd power lead back in.
