Some negative folk posting, the auction ban, now a scam. You must be seen as powerful & effective to be getting this sort of reaction. It’s a backhanded compliment. Keep doing what you’re doing for the horses & other at risk animals.

Why would the auction ban horse plus and not ban cutting up horses at the auction ? I think this is crazy !
My suspicious feeling is that one of the auction staff did that cause he was "unrully" and "out of control around mares"
Leaving a second reply. Triple W Livestock is currently under investigation by the US government for their treatment towards animals and not reporting life threatening injuries. They are risking being forcefully closed down and Horse Plus's video on that poor horse may have been the final nail in the coffin for them. The investigation was started after a male black llama, that they forced through the sale ring instead of calling a vet, died in their care once getting to his sold pen

We helped financially as much as we dared. And Horse Plus ended up rescuing 57 precious lives. Seven had to be euthanized. All in all, TERIFFIC RESULTS! Yea Horse Plus!!! 🥰💓💓💓

@@francineherron1940 they had 40 on the night, were awaiting more, then Tawnee said a total of 57!!!! Amazing in these circumstances. Think 7 poor neddies needed the last act. Leaving 50 to settle in and to observe.
Every time I've donated I've said that any horse bought that needs that last act of kindness, I'm A-OK if my $ went there❣️ I don't wish it for any 🐴 but it breaks my 💔more to think of one having to go thru the pipeline in pain‼️ 57 is AMAZING! The Auctions banning need to be banned by everyone✌️🐴🇺🇸🇨🇱
The dog kennel scam wasn’t aimed at Horse Plus, it was aimed at anyone responding to the ad.

Great episode. Sorry about the scam, but good that you didn't actually lose money from it. I still can't believe you took in 57 horses in the buy out before the auction. That's just amazing. Makes me so happy that the auction didn't collect their commission on all of those equines either. They need to rethink their self-defeating ban. They're losing money because of it. haha

I couldn't be happier that the buyout worked. I always hated that the auction houses still benefited from the rescued horses.

@@Gems-of-Hope-Rocksthey only benefited from two of them 57 at most that day. Unless the sellers removed them shortly after the incident that was recorded by Tawnee and Jason during the protest/buy back.
If your talking about the eight years that the auction had allowed them to show up and bid, then yeah. I agree that it’s a sad thing to see such a horribly maintained auction benefit from rescue efforts like that.
That auction deserves every possible bad thing that can happen. They have worked hard to earn it.
Pumpkin needed a quick warm compress to wipe his eyes. He is adorable and seems like a very gentle kitty.

The love from the auction protest was intense at times - and the fundraising was, too. Yet to me it was astonishing! You went up and beyond to be able to rescue. And rescuing you did!

Heidi is such a lovely girl! I love it that she decided to adopt Badger as well as Firefly - the fellow with her offered some words of encouragement regarding Badger, noting she would have a longer time to bond with and work with him. But she had lost her heart to Firefly - only to end up with Badger, too

Where are your local politicians here. Auction ban obviously your love, care and social media presence has threatened or outraged some group of individuals that are ok with abusing and butchering horses. Bless you for your compassion and love and may this be resolved quickly.

I had watched all the live videos of the auction day and loved that even with some intimidation the police kept things from perhaps turning ugly. It didn't take them that long to understand the situation, I feel. You all had your homework done.
Even though it was hectic to say the least you pulled off a monumental rescue and set another goal to the history of Horse Plus and a huge thank you to the veterinarian who assisted that day. ❤ and God bless you all.

Seems to me, that was a "generic" scam, not particularly aimed at the RESCUE, just to any person who wished to get that kennel as a "good deal." Oh yeah, just always remember to know the logo for your bank, your insurance company, cause all this happens every day to me or to a multitude of folks. Learn the signs! ❤

I never send money to people ahead of time. Your first clue that it's a scam is that they want you to send them money before buying!

Wow, rough times for you. I deeply admire your approach.
As I cannot keep any kind of animals due to health issues, I now live vicariouly through you. I owned a horse when in my 20ies to 30ies. I had the pleasure to train him to the highest level of dressage, but then I had to do the responsible thing and search for a new owner. He was lucky and found a new family who loved him a lot (we kept contact, and I visited him from time to time). It was the reponsible thing to do, but I still miss him so much.
Everytime you showed Pumpkin, I cried. I just love cats so much, I wish I could have another one but I am not sure if my cat would like a friend.

Whenever I go to buy a horse or something offline and an owner says you need a DEPOSIT, I am like this is a scam.

Sorry, was 57, even though 7 had to be euthanized, but that's 57 precious lives that were saved. And the 7 that were euthanized, didn't suffer further. Owners should have done it, not taken them there to possibly go to slaughter.

All of you do amazing work and work so well together. I ran a animal shelter for dogs and cats and know how much work and love goes into working with animals. Sometimes working with people is harder than the animals. Best wishes to you all.

Almost a scam. It took time but luckily PayPal caught before you lost money also. My poor grandmother who is 95 was scammed and they emptied her bank account.

With the buyout scheme you see the face that is selling the horse. Hope you get address. And make a list of who they are and maybe they should not be adopters. You will also meet the horse traders. Changing the law would be great. I will say a prayer for that.❤

That auction hoyse , I believe, is under investifation by tge Federal Government for abuse. Your video came along after they were already under investigation. I think you inadvertantly furnished ibfo that can work sgsinst them. I foundcm the info by Googling the auction by name.

Oh gosh what a wonderful adoption day! The first few minutes of the show and you have three lovelies on their way to new homes. I think that young Heidi seems like a sweetheart and should do well with her two newbies, and the young lass who took Amelia, given that shes had mustangs previously, should do well with her reservation pony too :D :D I love seeing them go to folk with prior knowledge and that you dont let them go to folk they wont match up with.

Why anyone would want to scam a rescue is beyond me, obviously they don't care about animals I guess they are blinkered by the dollar signs! The auction banning them now this....this is the last thing they needed. To all whose who want to leave negative comments maybe try doing Tawnee and everyone else at HP does day in day out, or do something useful rather than being keyboard warriors.
