I know this is drywall, but it appears to stack the same as lumber. Biggest problem guys at our place have starting out is probably fork placement....bc depending on the size of the boards, those 4x4 boards that space the packs go in different spots and there are different numbers of them (usually between 3 and 7) Since those aren't on there when first picking up the pack, alot of guys will pick them up inline with where the 4x4(s) go. And of course when that happens, its impossible to stack the pack of wood.
Maybe a stupid question because I know you've been doing this for a while now so you have the experience but how do you know the forklift can manage the weight of both pallets at once?
I can tell you from my forklift driver experience. Every forklift designed to lift certain amout of weight. I work with a 3,5 tonner but really I'd can lift about three tones become of the weights of forks themselves.
The forklift I drive at work can carry 5000 lbs, it's easy to tell if you got to much weight, plus I can drive over a crack in the floor and the backend starts bouncing. That shit was scary as hell when I first started driving.
Great skill on the forklift, miss the 3 wheel stand ups. Keep it up
Thx bud

Honestly just try to pick it up and see if the forklift can handle it
