Wow, I am so impressed by the video! Really great work, both in terms of creativity and technical quality. I have recently ordered the Divevolk Housing and two Scubalamp V4K V2 video lights with 7600 lumen output @CRI 96. They should be quite similar to your M8000. Waiting for delivery right niw. Have you used the close up +8 lens or is the video shot without any additional lens? I guess you also have not used any filters, right!
Thanks a lot. I used the close up lens for some of these shots. I am not sure whether I used the red filter (and blue filters on the video lights) or not - I took the red filter with me on the dives but I cannot remember if I made use of it (it would be basically recommended for wide angle shots). Keep in mind that when using an iPhone, the ultra wide angle lens can only be used with zoom 1x, not with zoom 2x or zoom 3x. Images will get blurry.
Nice video showing off what these new phones can do. I just bought the housing with the red filter and will be trying it in Egypt in a couple of weeks. What were the settings you used for the videos? They are so crisp and clear. 4k? Just worried I might run out of memory on my iPhone :)
I filmed in 4K. The compact phone is ideal to film small stuff. Lights are recommended if you have them so that the phone achieves good white balance. However when using a red filter you need blue filters on the video lights otherwise the footage gets red. At the time the Divevolk ultra wide lens did not work in combination with 2x or 3x zoom, the videos would get blurry. Maybe that changed in the meantime. I used an USB stick to transfer videos from iPhone. Have fun!
@@mountains-to-the-sea thanks. Yes I'll have a video light with me and the red filter for shallower sites. I'll take it off when I use the light. I'll do mostly macro shots so wideangle shouldn't be too much of an issue. Can't wait and I hope I get my iPhone 15pro on time :)
Some of the best Divevolk + iPhone footage I've seen anywhere. Bravo!
Very nice Thank you.
Very good!
Very nice shots...and the diving in Zanzibar is comparable to SE Asia.
Hello, which lens are you using most for these video? 0,5X or 1X

Thank you! I hope I will get my gear soon and then I need to learn.@@mountains-to-the-sea
