It’s amazing how fast you can wrap these cars and how good they look. IMO I think we’ll see a trend from all OEMs to send them as a blank slates and offer wrapping services.
That’s Elon Musk for you , when every business man wants to make things harder for consumers to earn money in different ways, Tesla is simple , easy , reasonably priced . They should get even better overtime
We use our large cutter to cut all the panels for this template kit. After we've designed them and tested over and over to make sure it's the perfect fitment, we cut them and send in our DIY kits so you don't have to use a knife when installing!
No, this is a dry install, so introducing any liquid when installing will trap water underneath. Most vinyl is a dry install, but there are some brands out there that are wet install. I would check the manufacture specs of whatever brand you go with to make sure it's compatible
Hey guys, how about a new product idea. I'm hoping to get your kit once my truck comes.......next summer according to the tracker. But who knows. I was hoping there would be a way to also wrap the wheel covers. What do you think? Either the "spoke" parts with the straight lines, or else the triangular parts. I think it would be awesome to coordinate and combo the colors that way. Is it possible to wrap those parts or would it too easily come off?
@@tesbros I've been thinking the Olive Green. Military/Outdoor look. Since it was unveiled, I thought it would look awesome to put it in green to look like a Warthog from Halo which was a big part of my life for a time. Just wasn't sure if it would work since there isn't an edge to go around and I'm not sure which section would look best, or even if it was possible. If you play around with it, I'd be interested to see how it turns out. But, maybe it would just look dumb, who knows.
Yes, you can get any color you want! Go here - tesbros.com/products/diy-full-body-vinyl-wrap-for-cybertruck - and select "custom color?" button in the lower left corner of the screen. Enter your info with this color choice and we'll get back to you asap!
The kit looks like it requires a lot of handling. Why not use a bulk sheet and glass the panel? I understand material savings by using a kit but at the cost of quality ?
The kit was made with beginners in mind, not pro wrappers. The pre cut templates and backing cuts make it much easier without quality being sacrificed. The only difference is you’re not cutting it out yourself on the car. It’ll last up to 7 years like any other vinyl wrap. Definitely valid concerns though and here if you have more questions!
I curious what a cyber truck will look like after a long term wrap is removed. The stainless steel on the cybertruck is very porous and rustable. The wrap won't allow any condensation moisture to evaporate from the pores in the steel. This might cause a lot of pitting in the steel.
why don't you wrap around the corners? This is an untreated car which means it can rust from the small gaps, wrapping around the corners would help protect those areas better
Don't worry! We've got you covered. For customers who purchased the "Ji Guarantee" with their kit, we offer free replacements for any errors or mishaps that may occur during the process. If you didn't opt for the "Ji Guarantee," we still offer replacements at cost. Feel free to reach out to our customer support team if you encounter any issues or need assistance during any step of install as well.

cool thing about CT is not a lot of spraying.
Avery Dennison is great but the best is gloss quicksilver metallic. I wrapped my model 3 in it and it looks stunning in the sun.
A great choice!
@@tesbros it's actually the best choice because it looks different depending on the lighting and weather.
how did u get the cuts so clean?

Wrap your Cybertruck too! tesbros.com/products/diy-full-body-vinyl-wrap-for-cybertruck
Meh. Call me when Ji starts rapping when wrapping 😂 Very cool though, the pre-scoring really helps with the larger pieces.
I'll try to make it happen 😂

Yeah that’s definitely possible! We’ve thought about that actually 😄 what color(s) are you thinking about?

It does wrap over the corners. Not very far, but it does cover any steel showing on the outside.
Change the color from gray to ... gray
An upgraded gray 😅
What happens if I mess up a piece. I’m interested but the fear of messing up is my issue.
