      TBN
In WWI the Ottoman Turkish Empire was defeated and beginning in 1917 Britain and France took over their middle eastern territories
The Original Palestine that was taken over and controlled by The British contained todays Jordan, the Sinai Desert, North Lebanon and everything on the West-Bank of the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea
In 1917 the British Government issued The Balfour Declaration, as a declaration of sympathy for the establishment of a National Home for the Jews in Palestine and The British Government would use their best endevours to facilitate the establishment of a National Home for the Jews in Palestine.
At least one good reason for this was the fact that in 1914 13% of the population of “Old Palestine” was Jewish and the Authorities believed there should be a national settlement for all of the indigenous people of Old Palestine
The Balfour Declaration was given UK Parliamentary Sanction in 1922 with the Passing of the Churchill White Paper, then following this it was given International Sanction by the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, also in 1922
The League of Nations Mandate for Palestine required Britain to lead Palestine to Independence and implement the Balfour Declaration

In 1921 Britain “cut out” of Old Palestine and created The Emirate of Trans-Jordan, todays Jordan, this was a Nation State created and established by the Mandate for the Palestinian Arabs to live in. Jordan was given formal Sovereign Independence in 1946 by the UN
The Sinai Desert was given to Egypt
The last remaining piece of “Old Palestine” was west of the River Jordan up to the Mediterranean Sea, this included the City of Jerusalem, it is in this last remaining part of Old Palestine that the Jewish people built their Jewish Home according to the authority given to them by the League of Nations und under the protection & facilitation of The British, under this Mandate the Jews built roads, bridges, ports, homes, schools, hospitals and they cultivated land & created Farms. The Jewish people established a nascent State
Beginning in 1945 after WWII, it was felt by the British that their “best endevours” had been exhausted and that the League of Nations Mandate had run its course, it was now time for these parts of the middle east to become independent Sovereign States
The UK gave the entire issue of Palestine to the UN for the UN to decide what should happen with the last remaining part of “Old Palestine”

Wait. The video says why the Palestinians rejected peace though you didn't explain or outline what was brought to the UN against the plan? Why would you leave that material out? I'm trying to honestly look at this looking for honest information You say this is a video about why the Palestinians rejected it and yet you don't outline what their statements were? There are many conclusions that can be drawn from this but I'll leave those aside. Could someone please send me a link outlining exactly why without an opinion without an angry emotional projection just a statement a piece of paper a PDF perhaps of what Abbas brought to the UN and what he said. I don't want to hear that someone else thinks it's legitimate or thinks it's not legitimate I want to read the documentation myself That's called critical thinking thinking for oneself You want to look at the information not an opinion about the information

Until someone can actually sit down and look at and analyze the biblical history of the Arabs and Jews (Ishmael and Issac)
And the dynamics that created these half-brothers, I don't think peace will come to middle east. One needs to see the plans of one woman and the Husband who obeyed his wife and not God. The grief, pain, Jealousy and anger caused through one woman's ill conceived and failed plan. But though the Jews view themselves as the promise and chosen people of God, remember that God did not abandon Hagar and Ishmael, but promised He would make of them a great nation. Whatever view you take as to ones legitimacy over the other, Ishmael will always be the first born of Abraham and by virtue of that fact alone the Arabs have every right to consider themselves joint heirs in all that God has promised for them. These two sons of Abraham played well together until Sarah the jealous embittered mother, demanded the one son and his mother be sent sent away into desert...... there has been no peace between brothers since then.
You CAN work together as brothers not enemies.

    • @preciousobidi5624

There is a difference between, the promised son and the illegitimate son. Hagar wasn't married to Abraham, therefore Ismael wasn't the legitimate son. Isaac is the son of promise!

The unmarried mother experienced stress, unhappiness, sadness and the unborn experienced the same feelings in the womb. He was born with a damaged brain and this escalated into his first years where the mum was sent off. His generations were born with resentment towards a father, a nation until this day.
