Being so used to watching Rin, watching this was an experience lmao. I kept expecting you to use physical attacks because that's what i associate with Amber but nope😂
As an Amber main, I was fairly impressed with how much knowledge you had of her. A couple of things to point out: - Most Amber mains raise the basic attack in order to do Physical DPS Amber. We essentially aim-cancel to rapid-fire a bunch of arrows in very quick succession. With C1, this strat is honestly funny and I also enjoy getting called a cheater by players who don't understand how it works, had it happen several times while doing Amber in Azhdaha. - A great comp for Amber is something like: Amber/Shogun/Mona/Bennett (or Thoma), with the idea of: Shogun being a battery while supplying Overloaded damage, Mona for the additional taunt and dealing vaporize damage (though in my experience, Kokomi has usually been the better choice) and Bennett for Pyro resonance and his buff (Thoma if you want a shield). - You were correct in guessing that Prototype Crescent is Amber's BIS...sort of. For F2P players, yeah. Crescent and Hamayumi are both equally fantastic choices for Amber, though Hamayumi is far more applicable as you essentially have 100% uptime on its passive, seeing as Amber's burst is rather underwhelming if you do not have C6. - There are several flavors of "main DPS" Amber - what you essentially raised in this video was "Charged Shot Amber", consisting of 4pc Wanderer's Troupe. I already mentioned Physical Amber, for which the best artifact set is 2p Pale and 2p Bloodstained, and Baron Bunny Amber, for which 4pc Crimson Witch is the best choice. - For Support Amber, her best 4* option is actually Favonius Warbow. Especially at max refinement, it essentially turns her into a stupidly portable burst support, given that her burst costs only 40 energy. Pair it with tons of Crit Rate on her, and you have nearly 100% uptime on her burst while also unlocking the capability of supporting your team with energy as well. Usually the best choice would be to go 4pc Noblesse with Energy Recharge & Crit Rate as your focus for support. - One more thing you missed in the Support Amber section is the fact that she is the only character in the game who's able to pull off a quad-Vaporize if you pair her burst with Xingqiu's Raincutter. It's kinda underwhelming but with enough setup and good timing, she can shred most things in her path.
There is also N1trot0m and Timtee ^^. Nitro is the one that found the true no dmg truck against Shogun and Timtee the aime cancel, if I recall clearly.
With c2, her barron bunny multipliers can be really huge, it's why she's built as a nuke for memes at that level. I think she can one shot frog boss in the right set up with a barron detonation.
@@zed60k47 Yep, with her c5 as well she can do some really insane damage. Highest I've hit with her as an amber main is 267k damage, and that's with poorly built supports. Hoping to break the 300k ceiling soon, I don't know if I'll ever be able to hit Tony To level of damage with her but I'm sure gonna try!

You can also do a ult nuker, since her ult doesn't have icd and has a high multiplier. Using a c6 diona and a kazuha for constant cryo aplication, you can get big pp dmg.
about chongyun's burst melting: he can triple-melt his burst hits with bennett skill and burst pyro application, i would assume the same thing would apply with amber's fast pyro application during her burst. in the vid (when chongyun crit and i could actually see the numbers properly) i saw at least 2 28k hits which i would assume are melts unless you have a broken chongyun build for some reason (with the bell?)

Moga, if you manually detonate the bunny it does big pp numbers with the right build, but her best dps comes from aim cancell with a physical build (2 pale flame and 2 bloodstained), also if you have superconduct it's really good.
A few good ways to play Amber that i know of: Physical dps (fucking charge attack away), it's the most effective for dps, and it's the build that Rintaichou (THE Amber main) plays with most of the time. Burst support for burst dps Mona: basically a nuke of a team, you do Benny burst and apply pyro if the enemy didn't get it, then do Mona burst and do Amber burst, the damage is astronomical (see what i did there?) Pyro nuke Amber: throw out both her baron bunnies, and detonate them, it'll do some stupid damage, even better if it's a melt.
I feel like if we're talking about pyro Amber, then her main source of damage might actually be baron bunny. It deals more damage if you manually detonate it too, so you shouldn't just let it go boom on it's own. I believe that melt amber with stringless and a bunch of em would work pretty good if you want to see big numbers
Hey moga, if you ever want to try amber as support, here's a comp with her for hu tao: hu tao, xinqiu, amber, kazuha. The idea being that you equip elegy on ember, get the boost, use kazuha to swirl her pyro and go ham with vape hu tao. Very high risk high reward playstyle but i like it personnaly.
My plan is to raise all my characters to 90/8/8/8 with decent weapon and artifacts, nothing godlike except for main party but still equipped enough so I can slap them into a party and they'll function. And that includes Amber. 38 characters done right now, five left. One of my long term goals in this game. I think Amber deserves it, she may not be useful anymore but she still carried me through early game.

Honestly, I don't think Amber is as bad as people try to make her. It's just that she's outclassed by practically every other pyro out there. She's not horrible, just outdated from the start. I've seen people get some 6 digits charge shots and baron bunny hits from her so that's still very impressive.
Amber's only viable niche is as an Elegy support for Hu Tao Teams, and she's actually the only one who can do it(Many speedrunners/ whale Hu Tao users use her).. She gives The Elegy buff, Nobless buff, C6 Atk buff (if u hv it) and also applies Pyro the fastest in the game for Kazuha to swirl.... Then u go to Xingqiu, do his stuff and then Hu Tao..... Amber is pretty much the only char who gives a buff to HuTao(Elegy and all) and doesn't interfere much with reactions
yeah it's the best Hu Tao team. not so popular because of skill issue xD so most people will still run Zhongli, even with Moga you can see he puts Zhongli EVERY showcase even though most of the time he's not the best pick
That's not true. She's the best Hu Tao support only because Benny doesn't work with Hu Tao, but you can use her to support any Pyro Melt/Vap DPS. She also works really well for the same reasons with Diluc and Yanfei making her a good substitute of Benny if you are using him on another team. Elegy gives a really nice EM boost, Elegy + Noblesse give a nice ATK boost, and her baron bunnies don't only do pretty good damage, but are fantastic batteries for you Pyro DPS. She also combos really well with Xingqiu who is usually already in those teams because Amber's burst is one of the very few things in the game that apply pyro fast enough for him to vap effectively both of his skill attacks.

Of course you can use Amber for those DPSes too but you mentioned it yourself, Bennet exists and works with other pyro carries so that invalidates your whole argument because that's not about what you can do that kinda works (which obviously, if you don't have X character, you take the next best thing) but what actually is the best. And amber is the best only for Hu tao currently. Even with elegy, Bennet will give more for other carries like Diluc. For melt Ganyu, Diluc, vape/overload Yoimiya you usually want to use EM sands etc. with Bennet which is the best and that ATK buff is super valuable (even with ATK sands), also Bennet has high personal DMG if you build him properly (the statistic Hoyo added show that most players still go double HP and healing bonus on Bennet which I will put a blame on tectone and other whales for that XD) Amber is just never the best option except for Hu Tao but that doesn't mean you can't use her kinda effectively, it just won't be the most effective ;) I double crowned Thoma who is even worse than Amber because he has 0 team in which he is the best option so i am the last to tell someone who they should play but I'm just realistic here :D
Talents really depend on what you are going for. At C0-C1+, she is usable as main dps (Pyro Melt or Phsyical "aimed machine gun", latter especially with C1), so AA talent makes sense or just as Elegy support for which Burst makes most sense (if you even want to level up any talents just for Elegy Amber). At C2 (further boosted by C4 and C5), you can build her for Skill nuke and prioritizing Skill would make most sense for that.
After reaching AR45 I swapped my Amber build from Phys to Wanderer’s Charge shot vaporise/melt build since i already got her basic fairly up…with Mona’s ult on enemy and Benny’s ult buff, Amber’s charged shot went to insane levels for me…was real happy…later on added a Cryo character in the party for freeze against multiple enemies makes it easier charge shooting..
I've been waiting for this! I remember you saying that you try to do the raised videos for 4* characters when they're about C3, so I've been anticipating the OG character raised videos. You should finally raise Anemo Traveler so that when you get around to raising Kaeya and Lisa, you can do a part two video for the original squad and compare. If you're going to raise every character anyway, then MC counts as well.
@@ika7468 the poster specified c6, so that's why I mentioned it lol and attack buff still benefits Hu tao because her damage doesn't scale on hp, her skill just turns her hp into an attack buff. So she still benefits from an attack buff.
@@starlette7820 the poster also said that she would be one of the best at c6 for support. It doesnt mean she's only good at c6, it just means she's a better support at c6. Also i know hu tao still benefits from atk but her base attack is just so low that atk% isnt very useful unless you use a high base attack weapon.
It's always nice to see Amber or any starter getting some love ^^. Amber C4 has many DPS build : Phys, Bunny Bomb, Pyro/charged Attack. Amber mains explain these different builds very well and they all have their pros and cons like Physical is the most dps efficient but require the aim cancelling technique to be truly efficient, Bunny Bomb does big numbers but requires a peculiar team, Pyro charge is the easiest but also the "slowest" damage wise. If you want Méga, they are a lot creators on YT that are Amber mains; my personal recommandation would be N1trot0m, Timtee and Rintaichou. in the end, thank you for raising Amber and I'll patiently wait for a GOD MODE ^^.. Maybe next year ? Haha
Just another way to play Amber, also an explanation for her normal attack being the most raised stat. Many people, beginning and end game play amber as a phys dmg dps with skyward harp. also if you wanna look to the amazing Rintaichou’s amber they have an amazing build!
Just a suggestion for future showcases: The Primo Geovishap (mini Rock Frog) also makes for a nice test dummy. There is the small headache of elemental resistance depending on what he's absorbed, but he doesn't move around as much as Masanori (or block things).
amber's actually really fun on a charged shot melt build. her a4 pretty much is just for that type of build. also at c1+ she becomes a very fun main dps, be it phys, charged shot, or bunny build (at c2+). for the bunny build, it gets even better at c4+ but at c2 you get the manual trigger so the dmg can be pretty good, and at c4 you can often trigger them both at once. edit: her c6's movement speed buff is most to help keep her from being damaged. she doesn't really need atk speed because she's usually either a charged shot dps or phys machine gun build with aim cancelling
A lot of DPS Ambers end up using her charged attack as the main thing. Obviously there is nuke baron bunny too though. If you want to do charged, I suggest raising Amos bow.
when you eventually do god mode amber id love to see u try a physical build with aim cancel since i feel like thats how most amber mains use her to maximize her dps :D
I thought you realised this on a different video but maybe I was mistaken. Chongyun's burst will melt every attack he has while with Amber's burst. HOWEVER only one 'Melt' text will appear. So yeah you did what you were supposed to.
I also raised Amber to lv 50 and ascended(but didn't level her up to level 60). She used to carry me in spiral abyss when i just starting playing and havent got Xiangling yet. Seeing many GenshinTubers starting to raise Amber made me remember the day when i first got her.
As a amber main wannabe, here are some 3 builds - Lot of people use her as a physical DPS with uncharged arrows thanks to the charge attack cancel, specially usefull with her C1, I would recommend using 2 pieces of pale flames and 2 pieces of bloodstained for the physical attack bonus and and a bow of your choice, i usually use the prototype crescent for attack and the passive - If you want to use amber only with her burst, 2 pieces noblesse and 2 pieces crimson witch should work, also can work 4 pieces crimson or 4 pieces noblesse for a support amber, and for the bow i would recommend the stringless for the passive and elemental maestry - And for the last build, the baron bunny amber, C2 Lets you manually explote baron bunny with a 200% attack bonus and C4 let you hace 2 baron bunnys with reduced cooldown and C5 increases the level of baron bunny +3... You see were i am going, 4 pieces crimson and a bow of choice, i would recommend the hamayummi (only if you don't use the burst) or the stringless
When I first started Genshin, I fell in love with amber, so I said I love this charcter, I’ll use her forever. And now she’s my main and damnnnnnn she’s good when u build her well.
Just one small pointer that might be useful for your God Mode build on Amber, when placing ur E explode them manually. Her C2 gives a self-detonated bunny 200% extra DMG (iirc). This is done by charged shotting the bunny and gives some very satisfying nuke potential, as far as 4-star characters go. The highest I've gotten with my own Amber who's also C4 is 560K. The team comp was as follows: Amber(c4), Kazuha (c2 is deal, but ofc it's kazuha so C0 works too), Diona (C6) and Benett (c5). The build for amber was as follows: Skyward Harp (U could maybe try Thundering too, but I needed more crit rate on her) and her ratio although bad was meant for nuking showcase: so 52% crit rate with 230% crit dmg and 286 EM. I'm aware this is a bit more highly invested and is deifinitely not meant for perfect abyss clears, it's just something funny and I noticed u wern't doing during hte showcase so far (exploding hte bunnies urself). Try it out! U might get some surprise numbers. (I was using 4 piece Crimson Witch over 4p Wanderers).
Ambers burst scaling is the highest in the game, like the highest, so with a good build, she can be a decent quick swap dmg dealer. Also with elegy she can be an EM buffer, pyro applicator, she’s really underrated as a support.
My main use case for amber is actually in abyss for breaking cryo or electro-abyssmages shields. And in overworld for the occasional thundermanifestation solo.
Amber was my first & only pyro dps until the release of Yanfei. Amber was on 4pc wander, but I've recently rebuilt her as a burst support with 4pc noblesse

Oof. Not using baron bunny manual explosions. Throwing both out at once. Her rain arrows don’t have ICD’s, so you can run amuck with Yelan. This is a case where you where just unfamiliar with maximizing damage on a character. She isn’t the best, but much better than shown.
Fun Fact: The Gigachad that people see in memes and claim that is a photoshop of real person, is actually a real person himself. It's just that common mortals can't perceive such a God so Gigachad to protect them from vaporizing by gazing upon him made himself indivisible to them and just a character that appears in memes. Nobody can see him except Amber Mains as Gigachad himself mains Amber and considers fellow Amber Mains worthy to look at him as they have proven that they can handle the enormous pyro heat.
You should try quad vape with Xingqiu during God-Mode Amber. Her burst has a lot of pyro application and with Xingqiu on Sac Sword can cause him to vape both hits of his skill. Its a very skill required technique to pull off
Ive just built Amber recently (Its for a future character really but yea) Ive got her to 60CR and 211CD, She's only lvl 60 rn though, so damage is super low, but i got her to do 40k+ so far
My Amber is level 90 with 8/8/8 talents. Don't get me wrong, I love her, and I think she is really fun to play, but it is so hard to find a good team comp for her. I don't have Kokomi so I can't test this myself, but I think that putting Kokomi's Jellyfish down would be best to proc vaporize, especially while fighting bosses. Then having Bennett and Zhongli. But yeah, I mainly use her to fight Oceanid. Also, I would recommend taking a closer look at Baron Bunny. When you manually detonate it, it gets an extra 200% damage. I've hit 50-60k with it before. The only issue with it is that the range seems so tiny, and half the mobs just back away from it even when they're aggroed to it. She's not the best DPS by any means, but she does well in certain situations.
why would you use vaporize with Amber, she is a melter...her attacks are slow so melt is easy to setup, try: Amber(Either charged shot or bunny bomber) Benny(Noblesse) Sucrose(TTDS em stack) Diona/Rosaria/Ganyu(Cryo apply) Can also kick benny out for double cryo for more crit rate

About amber her normal attack is used for auto cancels for physical dps amber and support ganyu buffs cryo characters with her burst giving 20% cryo dmg to the active teammate like ganyu ayaka bennet zhongli is a good team for dps ayaka you should try it its very good
You could try using Diona instead of Ganyu? Since at C6 she gives an EM Buff, plus if need be, you can use her skill to apply some more cryo since her Burst does it slowly

Was bored and had no resin the other day and decided to throw my C3 lvl 51 Amber on the team and did 20k melt with level 40 Amos bow. Her charged attacks with C1 are actually insane damage.
Id say ambers true talent priority (at C2 onwards) should be Baron Bunny, Auto and Burst; Baron Bunny being obvious as the C2 let's you do manual dets (and C4 let's you do 2 at once), so you want to focus a lot on that due to the cons doing it themselves, auto would be second priority due to the fact of A: bow users having weak shots and also because of her C1 wants you to use charged arrows more, burst does still yield some upping since it's of course the burst but compared to the other talents, it's nothing to write home about

Hey moga, if you ever want to try amber as support, here's a comp with her for hu tao: hu tao, xinqiu, amber, kazuha.
The idea being that you equip elegy on ember, get the boost, use kazuha to swirl her pyro and go ham with vape hu tao. Very high risk high reward playstyle but i like it personnaly.
My plan is to raise all my characters to 90/8/8/8 with decent weapon and artifacts, nothing godlike except for main party but still equipped enough so I can slap them into a party and they'll function. And that includes Amber. 38 characters done right now, five left. One of my long term goals in this game. I think Amber deserves it, she may not be useful anymore but she still carried me through early game.

Honestly, I don't think Amber is as bad as people try to make her. It's just that she's outclassed by practically every other pyro out there. She's not horrible, just outdated from the start. I've seen people get some 6 digits charge shots and baron bunny hits from her so that's still very impressive.

Amber's only viable niche is as an Elegy support for Hu Tao Teams, and she's actually the only one who can do it(Many speedrunners/ whale Hu Tao users use her).. She gives The Elegy buff, Nobless buff, C6 Atk buff (if u hv it) and also applies Pyro the fastest in the game for Kazuha to swirl.... Then u go to Xingqiu, do his stuff and then Hu Tao..... Amber is pretty much the only char who gives a buff to HuTao(Elegy and all) and doesn't interfere much with reactions
If I'm not mistaken, I believe that because she's so good in that role that she's banned in some stuff.
yeah it's the best Hu Tao team. not so popular because of skill issue xD so most people will still run Zhongli, even with Moga you can see he puts Zhongli EVERY showcase even though most of the time he's not the best pick
That's not true. She's the best Hu Tao support only because Benny doesn't work with Hu Tao, but you can use her to support any Pyro Melt/Vap DPS. She also works really well for the same reasons with Diluc and Yanfei making her a good substitute of Benny if you are using him on another team. Elegy gives a really nice EM boost, Elegy + Noblesse give a nice ATK boost, and her baron bunnies don't only do pretty good damage, but are fantastic batteries for you Pyro DPS. She also combos really well with Xingqiu who is usually already in those teams because Amber's burst is one of the very few things in the game that apply pyro fast enough for him to vap effectively both of his skill attacks.

Of course you can use Amber for those DPSes too but you mentioned it yourself, Bennet exists and works with other pyro carries so that invalidates your whole argument because that's not about what you can do that kinda works (which obviously, if you don't have X character, you take the next best thing) but what actually is the best. And amber is the best only for Hu tao currently. Even with elegy, Bennet will give more for other carries like Diluc. For melt Ganyu, Diluc, vape/overload Yoimiya you usually want to use EM sands etc. with Bennet which is the best and that ATK buff is super valuable (even with ATK sands), also Bennet has high personal DMG if you build him properly (the statistic Hoyo added show that most players still go double HP and healing bonus on Bennet which I will put a blame on tectone and other whales for that XD)
Amber is just never the best option except for Hu Tao but that doesn't mean you can't use her kinda effectively, it just won't be the most effective ;) I double crowned Thoma who is even worse than Amber because he has 0 team in which he is the best option so i am the last to tell someone who they should play but I'm just realistic here :D
Her bigger damage comes from and by shooting the feet of her barron bunny's... I can feel the AmberMains go insane watching u play Moga my fwen
Talents really depend on what you are going for. At C0-C1+, she is usable as main dps (Pyro Melt or Phsyical "aimed machine gun", latter especially with C1), so AA talent makes sense or just as Elegy support for which Burst makes most sense (if you even want to level up any talents just for Elegy Amber). At C2 (further boosted by C4 and C5), you can build her for Skill nuke and prioritizing Skill would make most sense for that.
After reaching AR45 I swapped my Amber build from Phys to Wanderer’s Charge shot vaporise/melt build since i already got her basic fairly up…with Mona’s ult on enemy and Benny’s ult buff, Amber’s charged shot went to insane levels for me…was real happy…later on added a Cryo character in the party for freeze against multiple enemies makes it easier charge shooting..
I've been waiting for this! I remember you saying that you try to do the raised videos for 4* characters when they're about C3, so I've been anticipating the OG character raised videos. You should finally raise Anemo Traveler so that when you get around to raising Kaeya and Lisa, you can do a part two video for the original squad and compare. If you're going to raise every character anyway, then MC counts as well.
Amber is actually one of hu taos best supports with elegy and c6.
Its probably the easiest VV setup but in exchange you loose a shielder.

@@ika7468 the poster specified c6, so that's why I mentioned it lol and attack buff still benefits Hu tao because her damage doesn't scale on hp, her skill just turns her hp into an attack buff. So she still benefits from an attack buff.

Also i know hu tao still benefits from atk but her base attack is just so low that atk% isnt very useful unless you use a high base attack weapon.
Ambers c1 makes it like venti so she does 2 arrow shots instead of 1 if aimed so she does more physical damage that’s why it’s first priority
It's always nice to see Amber or any starter getting some love ^^. Amber C4 has many DPS build : Phys, Bunny Bomb, Pyro/charged Attack. Amber mains explain these different builds very well and they all have their pros and cons like Physical is the most dps efficient but require the aim cancelling technique to be truly efficient, Bunny Bomb does big numbers but requires a peculiar team, Pyro charge is the easiest but also the "slowest" damage wise. If you want Méga, they are a lot creators on YT that are Amber mains; my personal recommandation would be N1trot0m, Timtee and Rintaichou.
in the end, thank you for raising Amber and I'll patiently wait for a GOD MODE ^^.. Maybe next year ? Haha
Amber is actually really good support with eldgy bow and “instructor set” for hu tao …….team will be hu tao xinqui kazuha/sucrose and amber

Just another way to play Amber, also an explanation for her normal attack being the most raised stat. Many people, beginning and end game play amber as a phys dmg dps with skyward harp. also if you wanna look to the amazing Rintaichou’s amber they have an amazing build!
Just a suggestion for future showcases: The Primo Geovishap (mini Rock Frog) also makes for a nice test dummy. There is the small headache of elemental resistance depending on what he's absorbed, but he doesn't move around as much as Masanori (or block things).
amber's actually really fun on a charged shot melt build. her a4 pretty much is just for that type of build. also at c1+ she becomes a very fun main dps, be it phys, charged shot, or bunny build (at c2+). for the bunny build, it gets even better at c4+ but at c2 you get the manual trigger so the dmg can be pretty good, and at c4 you can often trigger them both at once.
edit: her c6's movement speed buff is most to help keep her from being damaged. she doesn't really need atk speed because she's usually either a charged shot dps or phys machine gun build with aim cancelling
A lot of DPS Ambers end up using her charged attack as the main thing. Obviously there is nuke baron bunny too though. If you want to do charged, I suggest raising Amos bow.
I think most of her damage bump is from her C2 tho. For the god mode, try exploding the bunnies manually! Love you Moga, great vid as always :D
amber was my first character to hit over 100k in open world, with her baron bunny AND with no set bonus. i love her so much
when you eventually do god mode amber id love to see u try a physical build with aim cancel since i feel like thats how most amber mains use her to maximize her dps :D

I thought you realised this on a different video but maybe I was mistaken. Chongyun's burst will melt every attack he has while with Amber's burst. HOWEVER only one 'Melt' text will appear. So yeah you did what you were supposed to.

I also raised Amber to lv 50 and ascended(but didn't level her up to level 60). She used to carry me in spiral abyss when i just starting playing and havent got Xiangling yet. Seeing many GenshinTubers starting to raise Amber made me remember the day when i first got her.
As a amber main wannabe, here are some 3 builds
- Lot of people use her as a physical DPS with uncharged arrows thanks to the charge attack cancel, specially usefull with her C1, I would recommend using 2 pieces of pale flames and 2 pieces of bloodstained for the physical attack bonus and and a bow of your choice, i usually use the prototype crescent for attack and the passive
- If you want to use amber only with her burst, 2 pieces noblesse and 2 pieces crimson witch should work, also can work 4 pieces crimson or 4 pieces noblesse for a support amber, and for the bow i would recommend the stringless for the passive and elemental maestry
- And for the last build, the baron bunny amber, C2 Lets you manually explote baron bunny with a 200% attack bonus and C4 let you hace 2 baron bunnys with reduced cooldown and C5 increases the level of baron bunny +3... You see were i am going, 4 pieces crimson and a bow of choice, i would recommend the hamayummi (only if you don't use the burst) or the stringless

When I first started Genshin, I fell in love with amber, so I said I love this charcter, I’ll use her forever. And now she’s my main and damnnnnnn she’s good when u build her well.

Just one small pointer that might be useful for your God Mode build on Amber, when placing ur E explode them manually. Her C2 gives a self-detonated bunny 200% extra DMG (iirc). This is done by charged shotting the bunny and gives some very satisfying nuke potential, as far as 4-star characters go.
The highest I've gotten with my own Amber who's also C4 is 560K. The team comp was as follows: Amber(c4), Kazuha (c2 is deal, but ofc it's kazuha so C0 works too), Diona (C6) and Benett (c5).
The build for amber was as follows: Skyward Harp (U could maybe try Thundering too, but I needed more crit rate on her) and her ratio although bad was meant for nuking showcase: so 52% crit rate with 230% crit dmg and 286 EM.
I'm aware this is a bit more highly invested and is deifinitely not meant for perfect abyss clears, it's just something funny and I noticed u wern't doing during hte showcase so far (exploding hte bunnies urself). Try it out! U might get some surprise numbers. (I was using 4 piece Crimson Witch over 4p Wanderers).
Ambers burst scaling is the highest in the game, like the highest, so with a good build, she can be a decent quick swap dmg dealer. Also with elegy she can be an EM buffer, pyro applicator, she’s really underrated as a support.
My main use case for amber is actually in abyss for breaking cryo or electro-abyssmages shields.
And in overworld for the occasional thundermanifestation solo.
Please use her c2! It’s actually quite impressive for amber at least. Especially with supports and melt
Amber was my first & only pyro dps until the release of Yanfei. Amber was on 4pc wander, but I've recently rebuilt her as a burst support with 4pc noblesse

Just a tip, when trying to melt with constant attacks only the first one will melt (basically first hit melt, next two hits don’t, fourth hit will)

Fun Fact: The Gigachad that people see in memes and claim that is a photoshop of real person, is actually a real person himself. It's just that common mortals can't perceive such a God so Gigachad to protect them from vaporizing by gazing upon him made himself indivisible to them and just a character that appears in memes. Nobody can see him except Amber Mains as Gigachad himself mains Amber and considers fellow Amber Mains worthy to look at him as they have proven that they can handle the enormous pyro heat.

You should try quad vape with Xingqiu during God-Mode Amber. Her burst has a lot of pyro application and with Xingqiu on Sac Sword can cause him to vape both hits of his skill. Its a very skill required technique to pull off

Ive just built Amber recently (Its for a future character really but yea) Ive got her to 60CR and 211CD, She's only lvl 60 rn though, so damage is super low, but i got her to do 40k+ so far

My Amber is level 90 with 8/8/8 talents. Don't get me wrong, I love her, and I think she is really fun to play, but it is so hard to find a good team comp for her. I don't have Kokomi so I can't test this myself, but I think that putting Kokomi's Jellyfish down would be best to proc vaporize, especially while fighting bosses. Then having Bennett and Zhongli. But yeah, I mainly use her to fight Oceanid. Also, I would recommend taking a closer look at Baron Bunny. When you manually detonate it, it gets an extra 200% damage. I've hit 50-60k with it before. The only issue with it is that the range seems so tiny, and half the mobs just back away from it even when they're aggroed to it. She's not the best DPS by any means, but she does well in certain situations.
why would you use vaporize with Amber, she is a melter...her attacks are slow so melt is easy to setup, try:
Amber(Either charged shot or bunny bomber)
Benny(Noblesse)
Sucrose(TTDS em stack)
Diona/Rosaria/Ganyu(Cryo apply)
Can also kick benny out for double cryo for more crit rate

About amber her normal attack is used for auto cancels for physical dps amber and support ganyu buffs cryo characters with her burst giving 20% cryo dmg to the active teammate like ganyu ayaka bennet zhongli is a good team for dps ayaka you should try it its very good
You could try using Diona instead of Ganyu? Since at C6 she gives an EM Buff, plus if need be, you can use her skill to apply some more cryo since her Burst does it slowly

Was bored and had no resin the other day and decided to throw my C3 lvl 51 Amber on the team and did 20k melt with level 40 Amos bow. Her charged attacks with C1 are actually insane damage.

Id say ambers true talent priority (at C2 onwards) should be Baron Bunny, Auto and Burst; Baron Bunny being obvious as the C2 let's you do manual dets (and C4 let's you do 2 at once), so you want to focus a lot on that due to the cons doing it themselves, auto would be second priority due to the fact of A: bow users having weak shots and also because of her C1 wants you to use charged arrows more, burst does still yield some upping since it's of course the burst but compared to the other talents, it's nothing to write home about
