awesome! better get going on that surface rust on the frame.. in this stage some light brushing, some good rust stopper, one or 2 closer layers (depends on rust stopper a bit) and some underliner/protection.. in 2/3 yrs that will go deeper/might need welding already (depending on storage conditions)
3:20 NEVER use ONLY the Jack Stands. Add some blocks of wood under the car (doesn't need to be that close to full height, just enough to clear your head/body from get crushed!). I'll save your life in case of jack failure.
This project is amazing, giving a second life for the Twizy. How is the project going? Does the default BMS work fine with those batteries? Does it charge well? And what about temperatures?
Hey leuk dat ik jullie gevonden heb. Ben bezig met mijn 2013 Twizy en heb ineens een 58V waarschuwing op het dashboard :-( Wellicht dat jullie wat tips hebben. Kan ik in direct contact komen?

Hello,
What is the large jack you're using to lower down the battery pack ?
I love this kind of projects. Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Spain 😉

Thank you for your work.Which bms are you going to use for nmc batteries. I am looking forward to part 3.
Thanks for watching! Part 3 should be online by friday. The series will have 4 parts.
We are using the orginal BMS.
Very interesting! Will you have an extra display to show battery SOC? I'm thinking the built in will be confused?
Nope, we are only using the orginal parts.
Be sure to watch the upcoming video’s.
1000 EUR for those cells? I've managed to find them on Ali, but 14 cells sets me back 3300 EUR ?
Oh man, I keep all my batteries in the trunk to avoid this! Keeps them nice and warm in the winter 🥶 -no degradation!
And extra hot in the summer?
Heat is why batteries degrade faster.
Even in perfect tempature, they will degrate.
@@DIYDiscoveryDuo Exactly! That’s why we rely on the AC. Extreme cold in winter can cut your range by up to 50%.
Hey great work! What is the cost included labor to change it?

And do you offer the possibility to upgrade the battery of my Twizy?
