I'm genuinely glad to see a Pit Bull tire finally do so well, and especially the XOR, because they look so cool!
I try to hit the thumbs up right in the beginning of the video. I know it will be good already.
I've had nothing but great results with these with stock foams, so glad you reviewed these
Voodoo has a new 1.9 tire out that looks pretty decent in the videos people has posted in facebook groups.
I ordered the radiolink RC8X today too. Got a really good deal I couldn't say no to. It's on sale on amazon, then amazon offered a $150 gift card for me to apply to their credit card. I applied and got the credit card & $150 gift card. Bought the RC8X for $141 total with other stuff in the cart too. On my way home finally, have the Artful Dodgers groundfox kit waiting for my rock pirates ultra build, some vanquish F10 aluminum axle housings for the Zoku Phoenix, underdrive gears for ultra & zoku both, and a lot of other stuff that I've already forgot that I ordered.
Let me know how you get on with the FHSS v2 Protocol on the RC8X, mine and a lot of others have experienced signal drop outs on FHSS v2 and 3/4ms servo time

Pitbull`s usually come with a 2 stage foam in them the inner foam is a stiffer sponge and the outer is a med sponge.
I humbly propose for the sake of fairness and consistency that tire tests be done with Canyon Custom inserts. I think most would agree that stock foams are not as good as 2 stage especially in a junk view where the foams are mostly unusable. Canyon inserts are a known baseline just like the truck himself. 🤓
Having them tested on the included foams and then on a canyon custom or other easily repeatable and known to be good overall insert would be great but it’s twice as much (or more) time for a single test…but more overall content…I dunno. At least then we can see if the included foam is worth using and therefore saves having to buy or build a replacement.
@@user-ld9ke2yv6t I'm not suggesting 2 separate tests. Junk View foams are almost always exactly that. Even the better tires still only come with single stage and that's not really showing the full potential. One insert for all the tire tests seems like it would simplify things and add more consistency and accuracy for comparisons. But like I said, this is my humble opinion. Mr. Canyon may see it differently and I'm also ok with keeping it as is. 😁
I love that tire. Works better then anything else I’ve run. North shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. Summer time. Works well wet too on my rocks

Maybe some sort of wagon that could carry your camera equipment, score sheet, extras, and be a seat for you as well, or carry your seat for you?

It must be a location thing because I run PitBull Rock Beast XLs on a few of my rigs and they do amazing. Trails, rocks, never had a issue with them. I haven't tried these though....yet 😂

Thinking you should run canyon dual stage in all you quick views. Would it not make your tests more accurate if all test tires ran the same foam? JMO but from what I have seen foams can make or break a tire.

Nearly every indoor portion has the camera on different settings. I run full manual indoors save for auto-focus (I use an adjustable arm to hold the camera to keep the bench clear, and if I touch the focus ring the camera shakes all over the place) and compensating for the 6500K LED lighting is almost as tough as shooting outdoors at 7am, battling a different lighting condition at every test stop. I still think it looks far better, at least definition-wise, than the iPhone. Also, the audio is 1000x better.
@@CrawlerCanyon agreed on the audio, especially when using a good set of headphones.
20:52 are you suggesting these injora dual stage foams are that good? Or is it the weight of the TPE red inner?
I think it was the flywheel-effect of the rubber inner-- at least for the stellar self-righting performance. The outer foam part of the Injoras is nothing special. It didn't make the combos super heavy or anything, something in that 950g range. But it was definitely noticeable.
Maybe skinny reds in them for the next run?
They come with some fat boy foams
C'mon, how can you ignore $45 possibly without foams and down a Proline in either compound for $12 to $13 less per pair?
