I’m undergrading on theoretical physics and honestly, ipad always comes in clutch. Especially goodnotes, it’s so much easier to take notes in my classes as it’s mostly mathematics, plotting graphs and evolving systems. The voice recording option on goodnotes is phenomenal, it’s like a second lecture when I review it after coming home. I’ve been through my first semester without an ipad and when I got one, the difference in convenience is remarkable.

I am currently studying biological sciences, with a minor in analytics and anthropology. I have the ipad 11 inch pro, which I am going to be honest its way too powerful for what I do, meaning that I only use it for school, and maybe streaming. I really wish this one came out before I purchased my current ipad. However, I do love it.

I am studying psychology. I am 22 years old and finally decided I was in the right space to go back to school. I have adhd pretty good, and using the mind mapping note taking works better for my brain. I know that being able to use a tablet for this would be so much better than on a piece of paper.
Andres! Another great video. I can attest how helpful iPad can be in studies, personal, and work. I’m trying to reduce on pen and paper (can’t completely eliminate it though - I’m a bit old school in that aspect), but having an iPad and Apple Pencil as an additional option on the go really helps.
I’m trying to get additional certifications done in data analytics/science, public health, and project management. :)

Really enjoyed note-taking on an iPad. My notes are better organized and neat. Beats bringing notebooks, pencils, rulers, and erasers around.
My advice for my fellow students that are on a limited budget would be to prioritize getting a good laptop suited for your program first. Getting an iPad is just a bonus.

Hey Andres, big fan of your videos! I'm a student for the incoming semester (sophomore), and similarly, I am also planning to get into Computer Science and Engineering. I do have a problem though. My, uh, brother has been using my iPad Pro to study with at a UC, seemingly falling in love with it, and I don't really want to take that away from him, so this iPad 10 (and/or 9, Air 4) suggestion is great to look into! I personally have already been using GoodNotes 5 and OneNote to take notes, and will definitely be checking (and upgrading) to GoodNotes 6!

Hey man, love your vids…and your RS6!!! You inspire me because that’s my dream car. I’m an astrophysics grad student in South Africa. I got a 5th gen iPad Air 3-4 months ago now and it’s been fantastic for annotating research papers and making notes (both in Goodnotes 5 ) as well as organising my life with calendar and task management apps. I’m disappointed that I have to buy it again but I’m looking forward to trying out Goodnotes 6. I totally recommend an iPad to any student who can afford it!

I had the ipad 10 since december of 2022. Glad I got it for christmas, my workflow and studying for software engineering is way better than the ipad air I had. I found that I use goodnotes alot now. Great content man, keep it up!

I am currently in High School for IT and just got a the ipad 10 to write down all the notes.
I bought an iPad mini in 2019 thinking I’d be using it as a notepad/paper replacement just to reduce the amount of paper I used (I was burning through stacks like no one’s business). in 2020 the pandemic started right as I was starting my diploma studies and my iPad was the centre of my learning, all my lectures notes were on it and I managed to get through 3 years of chemical engineering thanks to my dinky little iPad mini 😂
take it from me when I say my learning was absolutely TRANSFORMED thanks to the iPad. it was a lot less wasteful and way more convenient, plus I didn’t have to go through the trouble of organising stacks of notes. it was such an indispensable tool for my learning and I’m sure that’s the case for so many of us students!
fast forward now in 2023, I’m moving onto uni pursuing materials engineering, I upgraded to an iPad Air to make the intense note-taking easier with the larger screen. pretty excited to see where it takes me in the next three years!
I'm set to graduate this May with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering! 🎓 I received an iPad a few years back, and I can't overstate how much of a game changer it's been. I managed to persuade my girlfriend and a bunch of friends to grab one too. Hi! I’m studying a PhD in pure maths, I use notion a lot for journaling, planning and saving research info (like papers summaries etc). I always wanted to have an iPad to use both for maths to stop using paper and for my content creation projects! But obviously dooms a maths PhD doesn’t pay well 😅

You can replace the tip of the crayon as well, you have to press the two little hole at the tip and remove the cover, then you can switch with another original apple pencil tip
no one "needs " to upgrade to M3 if you already have a silicon Mac but as someone who upgraded from the M2 air to the M3 pro MBP ive noticed a considerable bump in single core performance since I also do programming and I appreciate the bump. just like I appreciated the boost in single core going from the M1 air to the M2 air and the M2 air was already insane in single for for me. plus if anything I needed the ram upgrade

Hi Andreas, starting September 11 I’ll begin my master’s degree in Asian languages and cultures (Japanese curricula) in Venezia. Just yesterday I activated the Goodnotes 6 free trial (I’ve always used GN5) to check the improvements but I gotta say the one time fee they offer is a bit higher than I expected, considering I already paid for GN5 (10€ vs 30€ they are asking now).
