Stulinger is maybe the saddest character in the story, he wasn't a soldier, he was just an old man who got cursed by Richtofen's voice because he ate zombie meat to survive. I feel bad for him.

It’s amazing how over the years the Victis crew started to grow on me. I used to not enjoy it, but I love these animated drawings and the maps has a really great setting on the destroyed earth. Now Black ops 2 is my favorite zombies experience today.
No it’s made so that they never existed in the first place. They never even got a chance. It really sucked, like if they were left in the Dark Aether to survive, they probably would’ve made it out.

If there's one change that I'd make to the zombie's story, then that would be to focus more on the broken earth maps and add more broken earth maps. Like, add a supermarket map, or add an abandoned city map.
It would’ve been amazing to see victis on alpha omega instead of Primus and Ultimis. Marlton had history with bunker, Russman actually worked at broken arrow and knew many of the workers, stulinger always had conspiracies and there could’ve been a lot of plot points to end and questions to answer. I feel like it would’ve been a better way of wrapping up the Victis story. Also, it would’ve made Tag der toten more meaningful to have Ultimis and Primis fight together on the last map

i think the writers did it on purpose to see the fanbase reaction, black ops has gone to shit but zombies usually pulls through. if they’re trapped in the aether, it perfectly sets up whether or not they come back. 1 they fight their way through purgatory and end up back in the mortal plane, or 2 they simply die and that’s the end of victis. _or_ they leave it up for interpretation which is pretty cool too imo, they either fought off zombies for eternity or died trying

Warzone killed BO4. BO4 was effectively the test run of Warzone that was quickly and quietly swept under the rug alongside the "grand finale" of Aether. Activision pulled a ton of resources out of BO4 into Cold War Zombies because Sledgehammer was dropping the ball hard, and BO4's budget got slashed to the point where they didn't even bother contacting Malcom McDowell to voice Monty. Blundell's "it'll make sense later" style of storytelling didn't help either, as it clearly made Treyarch inflexible with their storytelling desicions, forcing them to resort to nostalgia baiting to garner attention.
