Thank you!!! Can NEVER have enough Tull! Ever consider a deep dive into Davey Johnstone? In addition to Anderson/Barre & Townshend he completes my magical trio of guitar influences. Great work.
This is comprehensive, accurate, and beautifully executed as a lesson. This should be marked as a top search result for anyone looking to play this tune. I'm decently experienced at figuring these things, and you saved me a couple hours. Just fantastic.
Great lesson man. It’s a funny song in that the key centre Bb (G by the capo) doesn’t appear at the start or end of the phrases but right in the middle. Gives the song a certain quality.
I already played this song but you really helped with small details which has polished my playing. Your teaching style is among the best I’ve seen. THANKS! Subscribed. Can’t wait to see the rest of your Tull videos.
Absolutely beautiful song Mr Hart. And you're teaching technique makes something that seems so difficult, playable. Of course lots of practice. Thank you so much!! 🎶🎸🎶
Howard, thank you very much for sharing this. I’ve been playing this for thirty years and I’ve always had a rough go at the nuanced bits in between. So thanks again.
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart I believe it would sound awesome on my twelve string. I'll be waiting for it to show up when/if you get around to it. Thanks again for the great work.
Great work. I can't wait for another post. May I suggest songs from Wings? Junior's Farm would be an amazing choice. You're posting incredible songs. Thank you
Maybe I'm the idiot here - wouldn't be the first time - but for the life of me I can't figure out from the lesson how you integrate the licks and the strumming. The lick-only tab just confuses me more. Sorry. I appreciate your trying to do this.
Saw Jethro Tull on stage last week in Zurich and decided to learn that song even they didn't play it that evening. Excellent tutorial!
Thank you... love Tull!

Fantastic love Jethro Tull, in the future what about Salamander which sounds like an interesting DADGAD song, or even Thick as a Brick 🖐

Do you hae a My God lesson lurking up your sleeves?
Mmm... That's a good one!

What kind of guitar are you using?
Hi John - it's a Fender Paramount. Thanks for watching.
I'm beginning to think you stole my Pandora play list. Can we get My God by Jethro Tull? If you start giving Rush lessons then I'll freak out.
:-)
