It's funny that Nick decided to do a rally build to start with, as the Citroën DS was actually used to rally in both the Paris-Dakar and Rallye Automobile de Monte-Carlo and actually won the rally in 1966.

Seeing a slammed DS is actually very common because the suspension lowers itself automatically when parked

@@thedriftingyogurt hydro pneumatic, it can raise and lift itself automatically but when you park it the car will slowly start to lower itself until it's completely lowered to the minimum ride height. It can take a while for it to go that low but it gets there

*FACT:* In 1962, the DS’ hydropneumatic suspension helped then-president of France, Charles de Gaulle, to survive an assassination attempt, even though the car was unarmoured, riddled with bullet holes and all four tyres were punctured with gunfire.

the rear track width is shorter than the front, that's why it is so nippy in the corners but also prone to spin out when in RWD or AWD

It's basically dont judge the book by its cover it may look bad but alot of good things bestows upon it
The tidbit about the suspension and being able to balance on 3 wheels, not to take the wind out of your sails, all vehicles with a solid rear axle (FWD, RWD, AWD, 4X4) should balance on 3 wheels so long as you're removing a rear wheel. This can be simulated with 3 jacks, 1 under each from control arm up front and 1 on the rear left or right jack point (either on the pinch weld or on the frame) not off the differential (a.k.a the pumpkin). This is something learned in my 5 years as a tire tech and it blew my mind 😅
It would be cool if you could raise/lower the suspension in game, but I doubt there are enough buttons on a controller

It is not only on ds23 there is also a special version of it the rally one well its not a race car but it’s for tough terrain and the spesial version can do stance until it is nearly touch the floor

The president of this era (de gaulle maybe) already had a ds as a presidential vehicle and there was a story about an escaped assassination with this car
Back in the day there was an assassination attempt on French President Charles de Gaulle whilst he was travelling in his Citroen DS.
They managed to shoot a tyre out however the driver was able to escape and get away saving Charles de Gaulle's life.
The french president stated that the only reason why he was alive was due to the handling and suspension of the DS

as a person whose family owns a citroen ( not a DS, and not one with a pneumatic suspension ), the suspension is pretty smooth in the back, not as much on the front.
This is also almost the mentalist car, the only difference that his was ds20

If you want a car with aggressive engine spacers look at the Alfa Romeo quadrafoglio SUV
Along the same lines, the Halo Warthog also has Hydro-pneumatic suspension. It's cracked in A Class with an LS swap. The thing squats..
