I collected so many tools and bits while working on DIY. However, it was not so good that the hard-earned tools were stuck in a regular drawer and became less useful. Tools are the same as books. If you pile it up without using any tools, it becomes trash. To solve this problem, I made a wide tool drawer. It minimizes the height of the drawer and makes all the tools and bits visible at a glance. As expected, it's so convenient. I think everything will be much easier in the future. Please refer to the video of the precise design that I produced with the 3D program. A link is attached to the latter part of the video. I think it'd be good for you to make it too. Great video! I really enjoyed watching the build of these cabinets. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are impressive. The choice of using birch plywood caught my attention, and I have a couple of questions regarding that. Firstly, why do you prefer using birch plywood for your cabinets? And secondly, is it cost-effective compared to other types of plywood? Thanks!
Thank you very much for your interest in my video. The reason I use birch plywood is related to my passion for DIY. Even if TH-cam disappears, my goal is to create and develop something with the tools, parts, and materials I have collected until I die. For that reason, the products I use are intentionally made from birch plywood. I plan to use it for several decades. That's why I still use birch plywood, which is sturdy and has beautiful patterns. I think birch plywood is more expensive in North America than in my country. Many people talk about the price. Of course, even in my country, it is more expensive than regular plywood. Your question is very relevant. I wanted to talk about this someday. Thank you again for your interest in and support of my work.

I have a question please. in the construction of the cabinet you used a lot of screws, and I do mean a lot. is there a reason for this? the combination of glue with some screws is quite strong, and if I were to build this cabinet I think that I would probably use about only half ( maybe up to 3/4) of the amount of screws. is there something that I am missing?
You're not missing anything at all, and it's just an appropriate question. I made the dresser with 18T birch plywood and the drawers with 12T birch plywood. There are quite a few drawers, so the product is very heavy. To prevent the product from being damaged during transport, I used plenty of screws. As you said, the combination of bond and screw is very strong, so you can easily use half the amount I used. I think a lot of screws were used because the product hasn't been made in a fit-together form yet. Thank you very much for your interest in my video.
Just a question, this is such a beautiful set of tool drawers all the way down to the labels and the nice handles on the front but why so strange on the inner runners and them not being done precisely like everything else? Seeing them in the corners not flat and over sized just wondering why to not make them beautiful as the rest?
First of all, thank you for taking interest in my video and writing a long comment. When you say inner runner, do you mean the drawer rail? Are you also pointing out exposure to that? If so, I can give you three answers. First, I don't really like drawer fronts. It looks too much like office furniture. Of course, it's personal preference. Second, the reason this work looks surprisingly beautiful is because both wood and metal are visible at the same time. Everyone does their best to cover up their drawer rails, but I think exposing them can actually be a plus in terms of aesthetics. Third, it also means that the dust collection in my workshop is perfect. If you are in a woodworking shop where a lot of dust flies, you may not be confident in exposing greased drawer rails. In addition to the basic dust collector, my workshop is ventilated with a large sirocco fan, so dust cannot reach the drawers when I work. Various attempts at dust collection in workshops, You can see it in my other videos. thank you!
To solve that problem, I placed a non-slip rubber pad on the bottom of the drawer. Even if you close the drawer somewhat roughly, the tools will not move. thank you!
