As someone who is a worker. I can say about half the time it’s the worker lol. Bunch of sad lazy individuals these days. But the American worker is just a byproduct of what management has created. In Japan they allow you to take a nap if you’re tired lol. Productivity is way up in Japan. I recently started my own business and I work on my own schedule. I own a detailing business and my customers drop off the evening before which allows me to sleep in as late as I like which is usually 8-9am. I will remember this when I hire two employees this spring. I’m going to pay them salary plus tips. So they’ll be welcome to work whenever they want within reason as long as each vehicle is done for the day. Hour lunch with PlayStation. Why not lol. I’m going to be a great boss having been a slave all my life. I know how tiring things can be. Sometimes I come down for 30 minutes and just watch tv to get my energy back. If things like this increase outcome of production so much in my experience then why not allow employees to do the same. Gotta give it a try at least.

It's mainly because we have slowly been sold off. Everything has been moved to other countries for cheap/slave labor. A lot of people have become extremely lazy, but the lobbying to congress/government has been the downfall. It's gone exactly how they have planned and wanted.
