Perk the analyst or Perk the player. Which one you choosing? 🤔
None of the above. I choose Perk the Racist cause that is what he is. Even listening to you talking about him hurts me.
Neither
@@michaelharder3055embiid should thank him coz if he didn't use the racial card, he wouldn't win that award
You think Embiid wanted it that way? I don't think he would thank him. Then again maybe he doesn't care that it's tainted.@@lorenzjohnjago3784
Perk on his final year in cleveland was averaging 34 high fives, 22 claps, 4 trips to the opposing player's foot in the baseline, 12 seat vacates for lebron, and 23 cheers.
😂😂😂
With basketball IQ of minus 17 but... Willing to say anything to get on TV. TV execs loves that apparently.
Overused joke but ok
You forgot his 14 DD's. And by that I mean the 14 Dunkin Donuts he ate during every game.
Thanasis will passed him on those stats
He is a worse analyst than a player and that speaks volumes
Perkins is lucky to have been in the nba at all and he knows it. LOL. Best minimal role player ever.
He is a useless analyst and a racist as well.🥰
y'all don't know basketball and weren't watching back then. Perkins was a really good post defender in an era that was dominated by post bigs
@@user-wt8im2ro1p I’ve been watching since 1986 son
You are so right. He is a clown.
He talks like he was an allstar
Well he was in the nba and has a ring
No he played with a bunch of all stars
@@Prince.Jay223zHe is talking about an NBA All Star Player, Well even a Bench Player can get a Ring ....
He wasn't an all star but playing 14 years is impressive especially when there's younger players coming in the league every year to take your spot.
@@jackson_235 He was starter for the NBA Champ so he was good
Kendrick Perkins is a multiple time shaqtin a fool MVP 🔥🔥🔥
Everyone knows javale is the real MVP though 😂
@@codystanton5533 He's the Shaqtin GOAT!
Perk was just what you said: a competent role player. But he was the worst offensive player I have ever seen at the NBA level and lacked all skill whatsoever.
Roberson from OKC had him beat.
He made Ben Wallace look like Jokic.
He came straight out of high school
@@acp4567 lol It's like nobody told Ben Wallace that offense was a part of the game.
perkins was lucky that he came to the nba when it was at the lowest in terms of center talent. Today he would probably be a G League player (at best).
Perk's offensive set makes Big Baby look like Ray Allen
Loved Big Baby fr. Always was a joy to watch how passionate he was on the court. He could have easily been the starter over Perkins but I think having him being the back up always secured Perkins had a mf baby sitter whe n he needed a nap on the bench
Perk is the definition of "I'm LOUDER so im right"
stephen smith continues to hold that award
Calling Noah the same "profile" as Kendrick is beyond disrespectful.
I mean….😂noah is a good passer and a great defender but outside of the that?
@@samdadon3710Noah not great but still way better than perk 😂

🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
5:16 this clip was worth it😂
Please never put Perk and offense in the same sentence unless you’re saying his offense was very offensive
So true bro 😂😂😂😂
decent defender, as good on offense as he is an analyst on espn
Now that’s a solid take. I agree 😂
How much did you get paid to say that 😅
@@PETERODZZ$25
I bet Brian Scalabrine would torch him
I would like to see that matchup 🤣
Yo White Mamba was decent too lol. Far smarter than Perkins, better field of play, and had some decent career shooting stats
Shidd Kwame Brown would smoke him.
He performance wasn’t the same after the tore his knee in the 2010 finals. perk was alot better than people remember he was a top post defender in the league. The Celtics sorely missed him in the 2010 finals series when he went down.
The. He was a defender rebounder he could block shots get you a couple dunks per game a Draymond Green type of guy without the play making ability.
He had a good year in 2010 before the knee injury 10.1 ppg 7.8 rebounds 1.7 blks per game on a stacked Celtics team.
You ever hear the terms rising tide lifts all boats? Peek was just along for the ride on the Celtics he was just a big body
bynum was playing on one knee all series and was averaging 7 points per game, missed perkins for what lol. He was going against a handicap man all series before going down in game 6, garnet was matched up against gasol.
@@shawnmarques7117 Atleast prime dray can score and shoot, the man literally scored 32 points in game 7 2016 finals against cavs.
“Very questionable basketball iq” is a perfect way to describe KP😂😂😂
Perkins was actually the anchor for that Boston defense. He was never the same after his finals injury.
They coulda just got the big show if they wanted a big body
Was just a big body.
Kendrick Perkins wasn’t really that good he was just a trash center that won a ring with Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Rondo.
I’m old enough to remember Perk locking down the paint and helping Boston win a ship. Y’all revisionist nerds are annoying
He was the best low post defender in the league. He was the only one who could deal with Andrew Bynum. The video was very accurate tho
😂😂😂😂
Great at defense. Not much else
@@TheBuffaloFlatsso what’s that say about Tyson chandler?
Nobody said he didn't.
Perkins was the Draymond Green of that Boston team. Dude was an enforcer and let no one bully his team.
He was Garbage and had a 14 year career… it amazes me, AND he was drafted out of high school
He carried the big 3 to a chip.
lay off the stuff bro
@@Age_of_centers good one 🤣

@@JordanO317 high level is pro by my standards as for as new I'm 64 years young bro and I don't just do basketball, I do sports period !!! trained with a guy by the name of Benny Herd Google him
Perk prior to his injury was actually decent for his role. He could've been a solid starter then be a solid rotational player by his twilight years.
I remember prime Kendrick Perkins (if you can call it that). He was an adequate role player as a lock down on ball defender. Dwight Howard was quoted as saying he was the toughest to get through and his advanced stats support it from a DBPM and DWS perspective.
I believe fully that if Perkins had not gone down in game 6 of 2010 the Celtics would have had the muscle inside for the mood of game 7.
Perkins was not great, but not everyone has to be an all star to be a valid contributor in a winning scheme.
Cute story he was 🗑️ kwame Level
@@Btheonly33 so you don’t really know ball huh?
True, Kendrick Perkins was a rugged center for those 2008 & 2010 Boston Celtics teams that went to the NBA Finals twice. When Perkins went down in game 6 of the 2010 Finals, Pau Gasol feasted on one of my favorite role players Rasheed Wallace when he tried holding things down for the Celtics at the 5-spot.
Perkins would have been a big difference maker for game 7 of 2010 championship vs Lakers...fact. He was mid...but the exact kinda mid the Celtics needed on that team.
Perk is great tenacious defender, i remember him with big baby davis on celtic champ run...
Celtics like "we spent all our money & we still need a center"
Signed Kendrick Perkins for a pack of hot dogs & a Kool aid packet.
Perk was a great defensive anchor for the championship celtics. Losing him in the 2nd finals series opened the door for gasol to take over and the lakers win that series
Considering he is now an analyst.. says all you need to know about how far basketball has fallen in terms of general knowledge and being an analyst in general
He is a tv analyst? What is meeaning of that in todays media?
Nothing but clowns!!!
OKC getting Perkins has to be one of the worst acquisitions.
Yeah it’s not their best move. But overall their franchise has made some really good decisions. They have a bright future!
The trade wasn't bad. It was the contract that was the mistake.
The OCK became a contenter, got to the finals after that trade so I don't think it's bad. They needed size. OKC had KD, Westbrook and Harden so they don't need any more perimeter scorer like Jeff Green so it's logically understandable why this trade worked
@@kylenickelberry1602 IIRC the difference between the contract Harden wants and the one OKC wants is at 4m. What if instead of 8m/year for Perk, Perk got 4m and instead it went to Harden's max?
A lot of those blocks were straight up goal tends. Bro just waiting for the ball to come down then swatting at it like he doin something.
🤣🤣🤣
I remember him saying "How could Bill Walton make it into the 75 greatest players and not Dwight Howard!?" and I was like "Because Bill was in the 50 greatest players and made it to the 75 greatest by default?" Some analyst...
He wasn't bad, but his job wasn't to be a star. He was a defensive anchor. Fill the lane, rebound. That's really it. In today's game he wouldn't get any minutes bc he is useless offensively, can't guard outside 5 ft outside basket, has no outside shot, bad free throw shooter. But like I said, for his time, he filled the need of the team.
If Perk doesn't get injured in there 2nd Finals appearance...Kobe has 1 less ring....and everyone who watched those playoffs knows it. Put some respect on his name.
Perkins went to the NBA straight from high school? Wow
You forgot to mention when he was so good at defense he sat on Mike Miller lol
With a team full of stars Perkins was one of the best value big you could ever have at that time.
Kendrick Perkins is what people act like what draymond is.
He still hates Boston because Danny traded him to OKC
His defense wasn't bad at all.
Dudes champ. Played with a lot of great players. Now gets paid millions to talk basketball. I think big perk is fine !
I can’t take anything he says seriously. I’m not sure why he’s still on TV. I guess he’s there for us to laugh at. At least he’s getting paid well.
He was a good player not bad. His contribution in 2007-2008 Celtics was commendable. But I will choose Al Jefferson all day than Perkins. I hope Cs kept Jefferson and traded Perkins along with others for the KG package.
I’ve been a Boston fan since about 1982 & I’ve ALWAYS said that Perkins is overrated.I Never understood why he got so much praise
His jumpshot animation in the NBA 2K games be amazing tho 🤣
This video just popped on my feed after K.P said he had better playoff perfomances than Gobert. This dude was not half the player Gobert is. Even worse offensively.
He was a big part of that championship run, they could've repeated if he didn't get hurt against the Lakers
Is this Kendrick Perkins? He was absolute and utter garbage, just stop.. he won the genetic lottery and has coasted since he came in the league
Perk was pretty good on defense. I feel like this video doesn’t put into perspective what he did for the Celtics. It didn’t always show on the stat sheet
Coach Spo exposed his usefulness in the 2012 Finals with small ball. Too slow to guard Bosh on the perimeter and putting him on Shane Battier just brought him out of the paint on defense, the one place he was useful. He wasn't a threat on offense so it was basically 5 on 4 in Miami's favor. After that the rest of league started to follow the small ball trend and Perk was no longer useful because BIGs become more like Bosh and less like Dwight Howard.
You can tell who ever made this hate him to damage his character or credibility . Tell you this , he made it to the nba and played for years
There just don't exist that many people that big and strong who are also still relatively mobile. Thats why we keep seeing these centers in the NBA who seem like they can't really play basketball.
Perk made it to the NBA and he was a valuable piece in the Celtics championship. He is a champ he deserves respect.
he was so bad that the lakers could’ve lose in 2010 finals if he played, although kobe tried his best to still give it to boston forcing and bricking shots
We done with the Perkins! 😂😂
He's too funny 😂
Perk was 14 yr veteran in the NBA. I respect his opinions on the game a great deal more than unathletic dorks like Skip Bayless and Jason Whitlock...
Calling skip unathletic is crazy. Bro is 70 with a 6 pack
@@Dr.Zoidberg_2914 Are you serious? Skip is a scrub and a dork. Jalen Rose exposed him a long time ago...
@@themessengerkenswift707 Bro is 70 and probably in better shape then both of us? His sports knowledge isn't my argument. He is definitely athletic you don't have to be a sports star to be athletic
Can you imagine reading one of Kendrick Perkins’s college papers (if he ever really wrote one)? How does someone with limited speaking abilities get a job as a “broadcast sports journalist”?
Because he's black and played I'm the nba. And espn cares about that more than real talent
We understand him completely. Does it make you feel good to try an insult this man. I wonder would you stand in his presence and talk your junk🤔🧐
3:50 Ayoooo you outta pocket
When I c Perk on my 📺, I mute my 📺 or press fast forward. 🤣🤣🤣
No 1 in the nba are bad at basketball, they accomplished things that not many people can.
Kendrick Perkins and Brian Scalabrine both won their only chip on the same team
As a Celtics fan, I was thrilled when we traded him for Jeff Green. Perk was useless. Doc Rivers always used PJ Brown instead of Perkins in the 4th quarter of close games, and in the playoffs. And, no, fellow Celtics fans, we wouldn't have won game 7 in LA, had he not broke his leg. We could've had prime Bill Russell AND Robert Parish as our centers, and the refs just were not going to let us win another Game 7 in LA, like we did in 1969, with all those balloons ready to come down, when the Lakers "won".
It’s funny, a few minutes into this video they just had to keep looping the same highlights.😂
Stephen a Smith face said it all 😅😅 I am died
that's why he's funny when he talks. coz u know how bad he was at playing.
He’s done something 99% of folks haven’t ..made it into the NBA. He’s getting big bucks to be a court jester. Nice work if you can get it!
He was a decent anchor but he was a massive liability on offense, Westbrook's low bball IQ didn't do him any favors in OKC as opposed to a much smarter pg in Rondo
K. Perk was a very efficient defensive player blessed with a 6-10...260 lb...body coming out of HS in Beaumont, Texas...Ironically...also the hometown of former NFL stalwart...the late great Charles Aaron..."Mr. Hightower Police Academy"...Bubba Smith...
New sub I didn’t realize you only have 499 subs. I’m 499th gonna get 500 soon good HQ videos I thought you were at least at 20k
Thank you so much man! It means a lot, I’m doing my best to put out the best content I can. I appreciate you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
ESPN should replace him with Dirk.
Idc what anyone says, perk was a defensive beast on the Celts. We lost to LA because he got injured in game 6, should have had 2 rings
Perkins was not that replaceable because a player with his skills were overpaid at that time.
Remember when Blake griffin posterized Perkins lol
He did help win that chip and if he didn't get hurt gm 6 they would of repeat
With how he acts on TV you would think he was top 5 all time greatess players
Only time he ever won was when Kevin Garnett was doing most of his job for him 😂
He's so jealous of Shaquille O'Neal, he can even HIDE it no more. 😂
I was unsurprised when the Celts traded him…,,I guess I shouldn’t have been.
No matter how bad he was on the court he is much worse as an analyst
Kendrick Perkins is a 🤡 . ESPN should fire him asap.
Tragic Bronson was the worst player ever to play in NBA history.
At That Time, He Was Unplayable!
Kobe said he was one of the best rim protectors in the league at one point
Mushmouth is even more horrible behind the mic! 😂😂😂
Perk wasn't Shaq....he didn't have to be...he had to defend the rim, sort of...
Allen, Pierce, Garnett and Rondo had the O...
Let’s not forget perk came straight out of high school
In the beginning he was fun to watch. As time went on, his personality and new gimmick started getting corny.
Perkins hot takes is what makes espn funny ngl
I hope Perkins will watch this
I believe he was in the league for so long because he knew someone. Same reason why he got a job as an analyst.
Most likely connections.
I still remember his Celtic team where I had yo put up with him
OKC ruined their team by trading for him.
Perkins was a good post defender and rebounder. Thats bout it
What an abrupt ending to the video
Respectfully perk getting injured cost us a championship run the year Orlando went ,we had nobody to stop Dwight howard
When, in this particular case, competent role player just means he learned enough to play the game.
Please do one on Mel Kiper actual bad draft pick.
Yeah well Perkins averaged 28 pts in high school where bronny James average 13 pts.. so if Kendrick was a role player what’s bronny gonna be? Same position as thanis
Kendrick Perkins: should have been played at the small forward/power forward positions as he would have annihilated/humiliated/embarrassed his opponents [ever improving ball 🏀 handling skills] being 25 pounds lighter than the playing weight during his NBA career. My coaching staff would have won 7 NBA Championships 🏆 ⛳️ with Mr. PERKINS at the forward positions {filling in when needed at center}.
But ESPN is helping him take heavy bags to the bank
Perk was a decent role player and a good player. He was never a scorer.
