Dear Mike, I am so happy you posted this. You play the organ so well. My father Hans Versteegt built this organ and I always wondered what the sound was. The name is an abbreviation of Rineke - Hans. That could either mean that he named the organ after his first two children, or after himself and his second wife, my mother, who had the same name as his eldest daughter. My parents both passed away. I had never heard this organ, which was created before I was born. Thanks a lot for posting this and sharing the sound of this organ, and by honoring my late father is such a beautiful way!
Thank you so much for posting this terrific collection. Real nostalgia listening to these makes of organ, sadly not many of the manufacturers around anymore but these are taken from the hayday of popularity.
One of these was actually put on the internet here in the Netherlands a bit more then a year ago. As far as I know nobody wanted it so one might have been able to pick it up for next to nothing. Alas I only found out later. Not that I would have had much room for yet another instrument, mind you.
It’s worth bearing in mind that the sound you here -undoubtably the Ri Ha orchestra, is the result of multi-track recording techniques and the organ played on its own - not quite as impressive.
Cannot agree, an incredible organ and most impressive. I heard this organ when introduced to the UK market, demonstrated by Brian Sharp. The sounds were unique, nothing compared at the time. The first organ, with Brian's unique talent, to mimic the human voice. I remember that being quite incredible in itself at the time. I would home a Rhia Orchestra tomorrow if available and enjoy playing it putting aside my Hammond, Roland and Ketron set up!
how nice it is to hear this wonderful organ again-always wanted one but out of my price range,hey-ho one can always dream can't we?

That's fantastic ! Has it been released on a CD / compact disc please ?

it was made by Johannus/hans Versteegt , founder of the johannus organ organisation and inventer at the eminent factory in the 60's .
What is the name of the first piece of music?
Prelude and Fugue in C major, BWV 553. Although this piece has a BWV number, it is said that this piece is composed by J.L.(J.T.?) Krebs.

Kann es sein, dass hier Ähnlichkeiten mit Solina/Eminent auffallen?
Sowohl vom Sound als auch vom Design....🤔
