I’m sure you’re grateful for the crop acres you have and many farmers have obstacles to work around but I appreciate fairly flat, rectangular fields of the Midwest. Thanks for the video update Scott.
Thanks Wayne. Some rectangular fields sure would be a treat lol. We need to haul the excavator down to this field and do some clean up I think, maybe gain a little more workable ground. I think I've talked about it before, but we used to use this just as summer pasture for heifers and dry cows, it's only been used for hay for the last 10 years or so.
Great video! You’ve had this 1745 round baler a long time now. Could you do a walk around and review of it, including any options you have on it, as well as operation tips. Thanks!
It's a good baler for dry hay but it's absolutely hateful if there is a lick of moisture in it. Thankfully everything worked out fine on these fields. I don't know about the backing up thing, honestly I've never ran it. I think if he drops the bale right in line with the windrow he has a job getting around them on the next pass but I could be wrong on that. That would depend on rake width.
Nice looking hay bales Scott
Great video Scott
Awesome drone footage Scott
You guys have the best place I have ever seen great work
Thanks!
Great to see you once more! Keep up the great work you do for humanity and may God keep on blessing you and your love ones! Cheers
Thank you Roger.
What a beautiful view of the ocean from the farm field . Best of luck to you!
Thanks!
Good luck baling and raking your hay Scott and crew
Thank you!

Great video Scott. Summer time fun. And summer is slowly going.
Yeah Noel wont be long and the leaves will be changing. Thats OK though. Tired of the heat and fall is my favourite season anyway.
👍🏻

I could try, it's a pretty basic baler though I'm not sure how long the video would be lol
I have a 1745 massey baler like yours I like the simple machine I do not have to back up to unload the bales unless it's to wet

Thanks for stopping by Alex 👍
@@macfarms We're on vacation, so I have some time to kill 😅
hahaha, enjoy!
❤️Cape Breton ❤️is my home, but live in Ontario now…what place is across the water from you?
You have a beautiful farm!
Thanks! That is actually an underground coal mine I think you're looking at. It was in operation up until maybe a year ago but it's idled right now.
Great awesome video . Is the hay that salty ?
thanks. I doubt its very salty, but I'm sure there is some ocean spray that gets to it.
I always enjoy that terrible view you have to endure daily, 😂. If your winters were so darned cold... The hay was looking good. Hows the corn doing?
hahaha, yeah it's tough looking at that every day. Corn is going great, been a good year for growing crops.
heres a comment
Thanks
