    Sheila E and The Jets were under Prince's label and had that Minneapolis sound with that drum machine and synthesizer instrumentals. The Jets were a Mormon family originally from Tonga.

    I think the girl singing, Elizabeth Wolfgram, was only like 15 when she was singing all these hits and I miss this days so much. Dancing and hanging out with your friends and keeping each other out of trouble.
    And remember when you could innocently crush on someone, from a distance, without it turning into stalking it anything creepy?
    I had the biggest crush on Stacy Lattisaw when I was 14... Just saying

    Thank you for this trip down memory lane ❤️. I remember when this song came out. I was in the break dancing scene myself 😎. Suede Pumas with wide shoe laces, parachute pants.😄
    Such a great time for music and to be a teenager. We always had a dance in the gym after any home football game. Breaking to the jams and slow dancing with my girl to New Edition, Boys II Men, Journey and more
