To anyone who is soon to take their exam, please listen to this video and memorize the process to solve these types of problems on the national exam. I failed my exam the first time because I was unable to solve these simple math problems (didn’t seem simple on the exam at the time of taking it) but Maggie you made it so easy to understand! Btw she is right these were the ONLY types of math problems I saw on the exam. I did not see any other types of math problems on the exam. I took my exam on 10/18/24 and I have my second redo exam on 10/26/24 Good luck everyone!
@@envysisi7885 I love this!! Congrats on passing. You’re absolutely correct. The exam has a ton of discount point questions. Thank you so much for your kind words and for helping others. You’re going to be a true gem in the real estate world. Best of luck to you!!! 🤓🫶
Just wanted to give you a huge hug. I used your content for math. And yes, 4 questions were in regard to discount points with multiple steps. I passed on the first try both parts. Thank you Maggie ❤🎉
math is definitely not a strong suite of mine and considering that the professor im under calls all math "common sense" questions and "basic 5th grade math" definitely doesnt give the motivation or encouragement one needs. I'm so glad that I found your videos, you explain each example throughly and without mocking those trying their best to learn. Thank you so much for being an effective teacher. I definitely wouldn't be able to do half the math required without your exemplary teaching skills.
@@alyssaford6087 wow! Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m sorry to hear your instructor is describing it like that. It definitely took me some time to understand those concepts myself when I was a real estate student.
i want to take a moment and say thank you so much for the wonderful video you put out there.. I just pass my exam in michigan and i can’t express my gratitude ❤🙏💕💕

Hey Maggie I have a question I just failed my national by 5 points and I have two weeks to go and retake I’m going this Friday I would like to know if you can go over more square foot questions! I had a question on my national and it mentioned the the lot size and the answer choices were A-8 A-4 and the number were like 1,032 x 830 but I did the two numbers above and I I got long decimal number! Even when I tried to convert that long decimal number I could not get the solid number can you do some example questions on this! Also more questions on on different loans because I had a question that asked about different loans
Were those dimensions in feet, inches, or a combination of the two? To find the area of a figure, all dimensions must be in the same unit. So if 1032 was in inches, you would divide by 12 to get 86 feet. Come by my live events here on TH-cam. I do a lot of these types of questions.
Maggie!!! I need help. I would Like to start a real-estate school on-line for Florida. Can you please guide me on the best on-line school for a beginner. I live in Ohio but will be relocating to Florida. I'm a bit discouraged because there is so much information I've been trying to read and learn and to be honest, I'm having information overload.🤯 I need a school that can go at my own pace but also give me the right information that I need to pass.(Math, vocabulary, the whole works) I'm not the best exam taker but with the right information and teacher I'm confident I can do it. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Well, that would be my school. I have an online school where I help you from start to license. Click here to sign up! justcallmaggie.com/salesassociate/
@@JustCallMaggie Thanks a bunch. I will be honest Maggie, I will be your most challenging student...lol. My question is, When the 64 hour course is finished and I feel like I'm not ready, do I pay for this course again?
Nice! Glad you caught your mistake. Now you know that if you multiply a down payment percentage by the sales price, you will get the down payment amount. Just like if you multiplied the sales price by the loan percentage, you will get the loan amount. I'm glad to see you worked these out. These types of questions will definitely be on your exam. Best of luck to you!

The Wrong way:
I took 480,000 x 20% = $96,000
