And she saw the changes of neighborhood two blocks off Prospect and was the last white person in the house and today that house is still boarded up, 4 years, and yet it's been ripped apart and will cost more than it's worth to replace everything. Copper wiring and pipes have been torn out of the walls, sinks destroyed, and the worst thing is now the gang blood and Crips are you in that area period and kids 15 years old and younger are at the corner selling drugs and carry a gun. I was told by the neighbor and if I showed up there at night time I would be shot no questions asked, because I'm white. I mean go inside the house there's all kinds of drug paraphernalia use needles, even blood. Would you want to spend $30,000? They never all stolen ripped out? And traded for drugs? The only real answer it's for the city to do a MAJOR rehab/remodel ON HOMES senior citizens and disabled people live in and I'm hardly having enough food, heating/AC, or other necessities.
