Thank you for sharing these hard truths. I am LDS. The Lord is awaking me to the sense of our awful situation. In Sept of 2022 I had a dream. I saw a city being destroyed with fire and smoke. I saw a man blowing a huge rams horn. I heard “the coming of Dan” “the plan of Dan” “the plan of individual supposition.” I also heard “the waters of Shiloah”. I was led to this scripture. The LORD spoke to me again: “Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and rejoice over Rezin and the son of Remaliah, therefore, behold, the Lord is bringing up against them the waters of the River, mighty and many, the king of Assyria and all his glory. And it will rise over all its channels and go over all its banks, and it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass on, reaching even to the neck, and its outspread wings will fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel.” (Isaiah 8:5-8 ESV) The words of Jeremiah that you have shared about the coming of Dan hit me hard. The Lord is warning us. We must repent and turn our hearts to him.
Thanks for your depth of thought and discussion. Misdirection is so true or, they just skip, like Jeremiah 23, likely one of the most important scriptures that apply to us. They do the same with all the Isaiah chapters, teaching easy facts and ignoring what is the key warning and message. It came to mind that to enter New Jerusalem we have to be spiritually at a level to see and walk with the Savior. If we are not then we cannot enter. Joseph Smith tried to get the people ready. The promise was if they completed the Nauvoo Temple that they would receive the fullness. Joseph like Moses was trying to bring the people to a level that they could see the Savior. Moses people rebelled and would not go. In our day the power hungry members just killed the prophet and his two brothers so they could get a different temple experience with a different god. It is tragic really and yes Mormon and Moroni's voices echo in our ears. Joseph did not give us the endowment as he was not allowed to give the higher blessings until the house was finished. It never was finished and they were murdered so we never got the promised blessings. I think the Savior knew this of course and the blessings will come of the fullness in New Jerusalem, to the small remnant who make it there. Great presentation, I have the same challenge in sharing the scriptures with others, nobody wants to hear these things, they only believe in what comes from Salt Lake headquarters similarly to ancient times, in the days of Jeremiah and Lehi, the people in Jerusalem were focused on their leaders, their temples, their religious rituals and failed to recognize the true messengers of God until it was too late. BRICS is in my view the Modern Day Assryan described by Isaiah that would conquer, invade and dominate the world for a period in the last days and would be the agents of destruction of the Gentile Nations. Anyone paying attention to the Geopolitical landscape can clearly see what is going on, China is an ally of Russia, other nations from the BRICS are aligning themselves with Russia and China and they will at one point attack the Gentile Nations in Europe and the USA, there is no doubt about that, Russian and Chinese leaders have already made serious threats, no need to say about Iran, North Korea among other nations. I don't believe we will by saved by prophets/temples. Our own prophet has told us what we need to be saved. "In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost." I have also felt the presence of Jesus in the temple and knew he was there even though I could not see Him. Even though we wont be saved by them what a blessing it is to have both of them. I do think many have their eyes closed to what is coming on the earth and to America as the USA continues rapidly spiraling into debauchery and sin and a lot of the world culture is being embraced by many in the church. We are only saved by a broken heart and contrite spirit. No prophet, temple, or church can save you despite your affiliation with them. Also, the scriptures are clear on how the Lord views his latter-day leaders. Throughout scripture, he condemns them. They do not warn. They do not see, gather, heal, or feed the flick. I have been re-reading Gileadi's apocalyptic commentary on Isaiah, and he states that the servant will warn of destruction for three years. I wonder how that will look. Surely he will send an obvious warning that will be undeniable to those of us who are watching? What do you think?

Yes, you are presenting a very gloomy picture of what can be of our very near future! But it sure is hard to disagree with anything you taught here, so it sounds like a gloomy picture is what we need to stir us up in remembrance. The scriptures teach us that if we are prepared, we will not fear... at least, not that much. As some fear is healthy to stir us up as well, but not to incapacitate us. But if we wait until it's too late, that's what we will get. You definitely have to wonder why we are not being warned about these things? We surely are being taught a kind of "all is well" softer version of the very last days. It would be nice if that's what we now need to be taught, but I too think it's not the case. As some focus on outward things to help us can be useful, but it seems to be reversed as we need to be reminded mostly of the inward things to do. As the scripture states "The kingdom of Heaven is within us", this seems to be where our focus needs to be on the vast majority of the time, as that is where the incapacitating fear can only be dealt with effectively. And it's free of charge, what a miracle! Imo, we need to be focusing more on this inward kingdom that is always available to us. I think at first we will see it as a yes/no as to whether it is literally within us, but then will expand into a question of "how much" on a continuum scale as to what degree we have experienced it in our personal lives, which will make the most difference for us. Try reading Jeremiah 23 and see what was left out. One of the most important messages for our day. Completely ignored in CFM
