Thank you Mark - I am finding that I ache more afterwards and will be having someone doing some outdrive work this year as I simply do not have the time - Just been busy polishing the topside again! I do think the benefit of doing a lot yourself is that you really do get to know every inch of it - for instance I had discovered a scuff and some stress cracking - seeing as I back on the Broads this year, I am suspecting that I have been boofed already!
@lovelifeloveboat its very hard not to get your boat hit on the river, just lucky if it doesn't happen, good luck on your Norfolk broads adventures 😀 👍
Hi Larry - I have done two lots of teak effect now - on the older boat I used the EVA foam, which, I have since seen, more that two years later looking good - Apparently it doesn't come off with too much difficulty but needs alot of acetone to get the glue off. Last year I refitted some 'flexiteek' back onto Friday Night - this was bonded onto some rather wet wood laminate underneath and was not an ideal fix. My solution there was to dry the platform, seal with epoxy and then bond - and that has stayed put incredibly well - so much so, that the 'professionally' fitted piece beside it is now lifting and I am about to repeat that process there! So in summary - EVA - Now getting alot of ground, it is cheap and easily replaced and easily worked so, on the old boat, for what cost less than £100 ($140) it was a bargain. For the Friday Night bathing platform fix, it was less than £50 ($65ish) and is holding up strong! and I have enough epoxy left over to finish the rest! Thank you for your comment!
Hello my friend I have a sealine s34 and don’t know where to get the new graphics from to renew the sealine and the S34 stickers or badges from can you help me thank you for your time
The original parts are no longer available, however, there are those that make near identical copies - although S34 isn't listed, this company may be able to help www.smartmarine.co.uk/product/raised-sealine-model-decals-price-per-set-of-2/
@@lovelifeloveboat thank you so much for the link my friend if you have any other links for Sealine parts it would be amazing if you sent them over it would be great I’m also looking for a new dashboard for the Sealine s34 or can you get them wrapped the is a little crack on one part thank you for your time lovelifeloveboat
@@WisdomWhispersforWellbeing I think most dashboards are repairable and can definitely be sprayed or wrapped - I would recommend joining the Sealing Forum if you are not a member, as there are quite a few posts on there, www.sealineforum.co.uk/ however, if you are looking at a remanufacture and possible updating / upgrade, I would have a look at Brian Ward, based in Brundall - www.brianwards.co.uk/
Its amazing work, and brilliant you do it all yourself. I used to pay a lot of money for a company to do it for me 😢

Sorry Rueben (Marine Sales Scotland) I nicked your trick!
How did your teak flooring hold up, are you happy with it. After its down, can it be peeled up easy if you place it wrong.
