This was the first or second episode of WW when the idea of the show was to be more comedic and revolve around the president's staff. Rob Lowe was supposed to be the main character. The president was not meant to be seen very often. Martin Sheen hit the ball out of the park with his appearance and that changed the course of the show to the fantastic dramatic course it took. One of the best series ever.

It was ... up until the creator and head writer Aaron Sorkin left the show to sort out some drug addiction problems. After that, it was unwatchable.
How could he not have met her in all that time? He managed to hit on her mom, after all.

why would Leo not have a child in elementary school? Lot's of people in their 50's do.
