Great stuff! Thank you so much for your tutorials :)
You are welcome 🙏
Great series. It would be fantastic to see how you turn around and re-integrate this over into MS Teams.
Using Viva Connections 👍
Thank you very much, it's very clear and easy to understand
You are welcome 🙏
It’s very helpful , Thank you.
You are welcome, I am sure you will love part 2 and part 3 also 👍

thank you!
You are welcome 🙏
Great series to watch. Can we send News post from the Portal to Microsoft Teams instead of Mail ? Is it possible?
It is not currently possible but it makes sense and I hope to see it as a feature in the future 👍
You should make it clear that Part 2 can only be accessed if you pay to be a member. Pity I think you could help a lot of users but you're not being transparent about the costs. No one likes surprises about costs. Be upfront. Thanks.
Pretty sure I do mention it a couple of times 👍
It's .99 a month I don't think he is robbing anyone.
@@rsdee3132 I agree with you but its not about the amount its about being clear from the start that's all. I may have missed if it was clear but I'm sure if I missed it then others may have done too
I would like to access Parts 2 and 3 of the training. I am Zambia and on your channel, there is no link to join as a member. Is there another way?
I have heard a few others say that they cannot from that region of the world 😞
@@Dougie_Wood Noted thanks
Not sure how you created your newsletter snippet link?
The URL is the same for everyone, you can just add it to the end of your URL as I did. 👍👍
I wish I could make this work. Do you have any tutorials or tips when dealing with SharePoint 2019 on premises in an air-gapped environment? So no internet. No admin site collection settings. Just full owner/control of a site collection.
If you are the owner of the site you should be able to make design edits to just that site. You won’t be able to create Hub sites etc
When I go into layout options for a section, the "Full Width Section" and "Vertical Section" are not there for me. Is this a product of a different version of SharePoint, or is it something a SharePoint administrator would need to enable?
Nevermind! Would not let me change an existing section to this type. But was able to create new, move web parts, then delete old section.
Glad you managed to resolve it 👍
Is there other option to have part two and three since I cant be a member because of Geolocation?
Unfortunately not
Is there a way to include all the rolled-up news from the Department sites in the newsletter?
You have to manually select which ones you want to appear in the newsletter 👍
@@Dougie_Wood Got it, thanks! I was working from a news part that didn't roll up 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
How did you get the vertical section to be full width?
Select the section from the plus button on the left
There's a way I can active the MEGA MENU after the site's development ?
Yes, just follow the same steps as shown in the video, just select a site that was already created 👍
@@Dougie_Wood Do I need to be a admin to active the mega menu?
How do I add tabs to my share point site so that it will direct me to another page?
Use the hub navigation bar
Can only create a sharepoint site to store XML files?
Yes
How to become a member ?

@@Dougie_Wood When I click on the link nothing happens
To be clear I want to renew my subscription as a member which expired on 27th November 2023.
@@dipomintoure go to my channel and select the members tab, you should fine the option there.
@@Dougie_Wood I don't know why , but on my side , no members tab appear on your channel , maybe this option is no longer available in my country.
It's ok, I have found another solution. Thanks
