Yep, I said the same thing... I explained to a co-worker on why he needs to check these guys out & the best description I could come up with for their new album was that "It's like this album is a compilation of ALL their albums throughout the years".... And just as good too!
18 years listening to Thrice and I'm still amazed... My favorite band, thank you for making such amazing music... You've helped me through hard times in my life, especially when my brother passed away many years ago... Thank you for making me rise again!
Thank you Thrice for constantly evolving! My dad had The Beatles growing up and he said every album was different and would "grow on you"... I know exactly what he meant! I have Thrice! I've always struggled in life to choose a favorite anything but Thrice has made it easy to choose a favorite band!
These guys always speak to me. I've been listening to them for 11 years and they just get better and better. Their lyrics are 100% genuine. I'm excited they're writing more music.
This song helps and hurts me all at the same time. This one of a few songs makes me think of my greatest love. I don't know if I will ever get her back. I had the chance...
For the recording he used 7″ x 14″ Q Gentleman’s Series spun copper I believe...wouldn't be surprised if he used the same one for this session. hermitology.com/post/144991165068/for-all-the-drumrecording-nerds-heres-a-rundown
So amazing saw thrice the past 2 nights back to back. They are one of my favorite bands who always deliver an incredible show. I will see them a million more times if i can. Thrice forever
For me their new album feels like after all of their years maturing their sound as musicians searching for a sound of their own with every new album these songs have elements from each of their older music styles and putting them together finally have found a sound of their own and as a fan I'm proud of this band.
❤ Listened to this album on repeat for about 3 days at work when it came out. Saw Thrice in June at the House of Blues in Chicago (which was amazing) You guys are great; keep making more music!!
Seen they were playing at rotr this year been checking them out going catch them live 4sure wow!!!!! they play early 1st day I'll be there rocking out can't wait til Friday
This is an amazing band with a truly original sound. I will definitely be rocking out to all "stay with me" and "hurricane" and look forward to hearing what they have in store!
I'd love for these guys to do a proper UK tour soon. Have bought the entire back catalogue over the past year and can't believe I've been missing out on such great music.
Yes, yes it is! ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BANDS!!! I am especially impressed with how much they have changed and/or evolved on all their albums throughout the years, yet while still making GREAT MUSIC & staying relevant! No one better in my opinion! PS- Have you checked out Dustin's (Kensrue) newest album 'Carry the Fire' yet? If not, do yourself a favor & go check it out. Start with "There's Something Dark Inside of Me" & "Gallows" (my personal favorites, but honestly, the whole album is good). "Ruby" kind of has a John Newman feel to me, while "Of Crows and Crowns" & "What Beautiful Things" gives me kind of a Mumford & Sons/Dave Mathews feel... long story short, the whole album is solid. Check out "Back to Back" & "Carry the Fire" too!... haha, WINK FACE
So I found out about Thrice through one of those asshole coworkers that you end up understanding and relating with in the end....forever grateful for his impact on my life and Thrice needs more recognition. Sorry for the shitty grammar but it is was it is.....also the Artist in the Ambulance deserves a listen all the way through no breaks. Great fucking music right here.
I would shake that damn shaker that's supposed to be shaken @ 2:45 crazier than the frontman of La Dispute shakes his tambourine if they would let me while they filmed this.
Just found them. Odd how it happened. Obsession with Bring Me The Horizon and while watching TH-cam an old MTV cribs episode came on, Oli the lead singer of BMTH was giving a tour of a friends home they were staying in, the house had a pool on a cliff hanging over some gorgeous ocean. Incredible view, and it looked too perfect to be real. A song was playing in the background, and I didn't think that I would normally even hear, let alone notice stuff like that in the back ound. Especially being amazed at the "crib" not to mention I was "fan girling" over the beauty of Oli Sykes. But I noticed it, knew it wasn't a BMTH song and looked in the description and credits to find an unfamiliar band name - Thrice, song was "Digital Sea" off of alhum "Alchemy: Volumes I & 2" went and checked it out on TH-cam, and then downloaded it. Then I heard the unbelievably beautiful and unique, "Beyond the Pines", "Come all you weary", "Black Honey" and so many other wonderful and meaningful songs. About God and spirituality in the only way I have ever believed it to be, the feelings of hope, that I'd been missing, all came flooding back to me😭🙏😳 Weird, Oli Sykes from BMTH, had that playing on loop during his cribs special, yet doesn't believe any God is out there. Like, he admits it, talks about it in songs and not in a good way, bordering on being disrespectful to any religious mindset. That he doesn't believe in God and is an outspoken Atheist. So, doesn't this kinda show God's real? I felt His Spirit touching mine. I've never stopped believing, I don't need visuals, to convince me when ironic coincidences like that occur. Even without them, I believed. My faith has never wavered, but my spirit needed waking up, and the fact that it was brought on by an avid, outspoken atheist is just... Mental! I mean, mysterious ways indeed! ❤️
Always come back to this video! I'd love to see live performances like this of some older songs they tour with like Deadbolt or Silhouette. Or even songs they don't really play out like Beltsville Crucible or Kill Me Quickly, i'd love to hear some of the early stuff in a cool setting like this!
Thrice is a good live band because of their energy and passion (and I think they always sound great live anyway), but in this session they are amazing. Can't wait to see them live again and i've seen them eight times already.
Very Nice!!! I've been a big fan from, can't say the beginning, but from very early on!!! I want to go see you guys on July 3rd at White River!!! Just need to get things in order before committing to it!
is it me or are dustin's screams on this recording more reminiscent of punk rock thrice (notably the 'meeehhh' in stay with me)? either way, I dig. a little different than the album version and I really like it.
the world would be a better place if everyone listened to Thrice once a day
At least 👊😉🍻
@Dawn Michelle Seidl Godsey Ayyyyyyyyyyy
That's the best thing I've heard in a long time! Yesssssss
I've been listening to Thrice for about 13 years. They've been my good friends for a long time, and they don't even know it.
Same, brother. Their music saved my life. Literally
@Joshua Jason Karl On the same boat. I’m 33. Since i was 14 👌🏼
They've saved my life a few times.. a "few" times.. 👊😉🍻
i realize it's kind of off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released series online?
@Daxton Rhett Flixportal :D
God, This band is special.
It all really came together on this record. Old and new. Just wow...
Yep, I said the same thing... I explained to a co-worker on why he needs to check these guys out & the best description I could come up with for their new album was that "It's like this album is a compilation of ALL their albums throughout the years"....
And just as good too!
Ive been listening for 15 years. Dustin helped me find JESUS
Today is day one of being sober. This band has been apart of my life for 20 years. I’m 40 now. My addiction is killing me but this music will heal me.
Goodluck🙌
I hope you are doing well!! maybe 7 months sober!
Much love brother this band helps me through so much also wishing you the best
gratz, one day at a time....been there and I can tell you it can be done!
1 year check in. Hope you're doing well and haven't gone back to old habits!
18 years listening to Thrice and I'm still amazed... My favorite band, thank you for making such amazing music... You've helped me through hard times in my life, especially when my brother passed away many years ago... Thank you for making me rise again!
I just love this song. This band has it all. A song for every mood.
I love his voice. so passionate.
By far, one of my favorite songs from them.
How the hell does this sound so good? Most bands can’t pull off their own songs like this.
Thrice just casually dropping a pop rock banger.
This song is probably the brightest thing about The Road
2:43-3:20 is so moving. The high note Dustin hits on "Lie" at 2:50 is just ridiculous to me, so much emotion
Love the pain in his voice. Similar to Eddie Vedder in that sense!
By far one of my favorite bands of all time that’s saying a lot!!!
These last couple of records are fantastic.
Ive loved thrice since i was 15 and heard identity crises... Theyve been my favourite band ever since. Thank you thrice for years of wonderful music.
Thank you Thrice for constantly evolving! My dad had The Beatles growing up and he said every album was different and would "grow on you"... I know exactly what he meant! I have Thrice! I've always struggled in life to choose a favorite anything but Thrice has made it easy to choose a favorite band!
Thrice, you guys have gotten me through 2 decades. And then you have the audacity to keep getting better. You have changed my life. Thank you ❤️🖤❤️🖤
These guys always speak to me. I've been listening to them for 11 years and they just get better and better. Their lyrics are 100% genuine. I'm excited they're writing more music.

Gives me goosebumps every time 🙏🏼 ❤️🖤❤️🖤 your music has saved my life more than you know
THAT SNARE!!!
what kind of snare is?
Opcion Propiedades most likely an 14x8, not sure about the material tho
For the recording he used 7″ x 14″ Q Gentleman’s Series spun copper I believe...wouldn't be surprised if he used the same one for this session.
hermitology.com/post/144991165068/for-all-the-drumrecording-nerds-heres-a-rundown
@@skitchyp this is a C&C kit, snare included
Stay with me is such an underrated song from Thrice.
a melhor banda do mundo! não consigo deixar de escutar há anos.
Love this band and the killer sound of the snare 👐
So amazing saw thrice the past 2 nights back to back. They are one of my favorite bands who always deliver an incredible show. I will see them a million more times if i can. Thrice forever
Dig these super tight drums
Elvis K C&C all day
the best modern rock band. my favorite.
Best concert I've ever been to, hands down.
This song has such a unique feel to it. Thrice crafts their music in a very interesting way.
Nice Cave & Canary guitar!

Fantastic record. I love this era of music.
This is an amazing band with a truly original sound. I will definitely be rocking out to all "stay with me" and "hurricane" and look forward to hearing what they have in store!
What perfection sounds like. Keep rocking Thrice! Can't wait to see you guys on tour again. 2017!!
One of my favorites off the new album!
I'd love for these guys to do a proper UK tour soon. Have bought the entire back catalogue over the past year and can't believe I've been missing out on such great music.
Just a friendly fyi that they’ll be in the UK in October!
I wish the TBEITBN Sessions had been released as an EP.
and here I am, almost 2 years later still adding to the views.
A very under rated band......:(
Those harmonies!
It was 16 years ago i first heard thrice. Still jamming.
the album with the perfect opener, and perfect ending.... swell!
Thank you, Thrice
Man, they rock.
Amazing.
Life is odd
So is your response... SMILEY FACE
Robert Johnson

Would you stay with mehhhh!
seeing them in November!!!!
lovely
I would shake that damn shaker that's supposed to be shaken @ 2:45 crazier than the frontman of La Dispute shakes his tambourine if they would let me while they filmed this.
If they stopped playing this timeless emotional music. I'd stop listening

Riley Fucking Breckenridge. Most underrated drummer in the world.
good band👍👍🍻
melodia ótima
Great camera work!!
Good Stuff
muy buena canción
Reminds me of Kings of Leon (melodies) much more aggressive though. Good stuff.
A little bit of Coldplay also mixed in
is it me or are dustin's screams on this recording more reminiscent of punk rock thrice (notably the 'meeehhh' in stay with me)? either way, I dig. a little different than the album version and I really like it.
do yourself a favor and listen through a set of great headphones
Fucking hell, those drums sound noice
