    I’ve been here since your hair journey video, it makes me so happy seeing how your hair has drastically improved! You and I have similar hair types fine and for me VERY dry. I’ve struggled for years trying to find the right products, I finally have it down to where my hair is manageable. Love your videos 🤍✨

    Love your videos 💕
    Also, sulfates and silicones are not bad for your hair. I once believed that too because a lot of influencers say that, but I’ve been watching more dermatologists and hair experts and they’ve all said that sulfates and silicones are good for your hair. Sulfates are important for adequately cleansing your scalp; if your scalp isn’t being cleaned properly, that can cause hair loss. Silicones are important for making your hair soft and manageable, which will allow you to retain longer and healthier hair. Some of us are just born with dry/coarse hair and no amount of ‘hair training’ will fix that. Maybe check out Dr. Dray and Abby Yung if you haven’t already.
    For hair loss, unless you’re seeing bald spots or major thinning, you’re okay!

    I'm happy to see you upload hair videos again, I have the same problems ( dry wavy frizzy hair ) and still struggle with it most of the time, especially as I'm trying to limit heat to grow it out (needless to say it's a struggle ) but your hair is gorgeous and you seem to have found a balance between heat use and maintaining it healthy.

    Been hooked to your channel ever since you uploaded heatless straightening method (it literally still saves me from bad hair days because it was just you on TH-cam who made that method super easy to understand). And oh my god i relate with your hair struggles on so many levels and your channel literally has saved my hair so THANK YOU ❤️
    I have thick coarse wavy hair which is super dry and it can’t really handle heat well inspite of being used with good heat protectants and blowdry creams(i watch blowout professor as well). I sometimes do the curly method but like ofcourse as you know, it just not worth the effort because it just looks good on day 1 and its a mess the next day. I tried learning to blowdry my hair so i resist using direct heat but that didn’t work great either because it just doesn’t come out right because my hair is extremely thick and coarse and it does need straightener afterwards to tame all the poof down.
    I am just so frustrated with my hair but yes acceptance does help. It is just really difficult sometimes especially when you have job which demands you to look polish all the time.
    Straightening with flat iron is really taking a toll on my hair health and i am considering getting dyson airstrait. I know its expensive but i really really am wishing that you read my comment and kinda consider getting one and provide indepth insights. I really do feel its worth investing after watching all the videos and if you give positive reviews to it, i will 100 percent get one ❤️

    Honestly, using those thermal brushes like the bondi boost one can cause more damage to hair than using a straightener, especially for fine hair. If you use a heat protectant and the lowest heat you can, the flatiron doesnt cause much damage, since its only going over each piece two or three times, whereas the blowout brush needs to be yanked over the same piece multiple times and can get caught.

  • @Kimxoxo2208
    @Kimxoxo2208 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    some tips that might help with your hair (+ to prevent damage with the oil)
    - neverrr brush your hair when you have oil in it, it can break sooo easily!
    - like you said yourself, it was a bit too much oil for your scalp, you don't need that much as it can clogg your pores which can cause fallout
    - you can def leave the oil on for 2-4 hours if you have the time! if you don't have oil on your scalp, you can leave it on for even longer
    -add the leave-in conditioner to your hair while it's still towelwet, it will give much greater results
    -maybe switch the moroccan oil up with argan oil? it's way less expencive for a big bottle of that vs a tiny bottle of moroccan oil even thought it's very nice unfortunally :/

  • @alifiii
    @alifiii 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Yay.. I used to rewatch your haircare videos. But i just wanna say that scalp oil treatment meant to leave on for minimum 1 hour sweetheart. For me i always put my scalp oil on my hair before wash it so its 3x/week. And always take it overnight. If i am feeling tired at night i always put it next morning at leave it at least 1 hour before wash it. Now my hair grow almost to my butt. And i never have this long hair since i was born. It always stuck in breast length. But again everyone have different hair type but i see yours pretty much like as mine. And about heat. Its true heat can damage you hair, but it can boost your confident if you like to look certain way because of heat and its okay..so... Anyway.. love yaa❤❤❤

    I recommend looking into science behing PEH protein emolient and humectants it personalizes your hair care and you get lots of profita from that than just usinf a regular conditioner or mask withour really knowing what the ingredients are for.Most masks are moisturizing/nourishing so its usually blends of oils and butters but that doesnt really get into the hair it just seals it ❤

  • @tiffmullen9864
    @tiffmullen9864 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    So id try a shampoo and conditioner for dry hair.
    Redken 25 benefits leave in
    Gison hair oil
    Soft hold mouse..
    Style day one so it lasts a few days without brushing too much.. night styles to help preserve the wave with light tension and soft scrunchies..
    Wide tooth comb for detangle if need .. brush when you have a mask in.. i think the less you do the better for your hair type. Silicone can be great as long as you clarify when needed .. and a tie bonnet at night.. just somethings to try out.. ive watched you for a lomg time and just wanna help if possible ❤

      She’s already talked about this in the past. The curly girl method did not work consistently for her so she quit it. And took a break from hair stuff because it was stressing her out.
      And her hair is hardly curly. It is just wavy. CGM doesn’t work for a lot of people with loose waves which is her hair texture.

    My hair is fine and straight, I usually just do shampoo. Most "care" products just leave a greasy film on my hair, plus I have sensitive skin and often shampoos make my sculp itch. (no dandruff, no redness, but itching) I'm happy you found a routine and products you like and that work for you.
    You got a different hairtexture but what I find best is to have one day a week where I do 1)shampoo 2) Hairmask 3)Conditioner 4) leave in conditioner
    that makes my hair very soft shiny healthy
    But I had to take medication for acne, that dries out the skin. And I have stopped taking them in january and it's june now and my skin and sculp got extremely sensitive from it. My eyes hurt in daylight too.... I never had issues before my acne treatment, I used all shampoo just fine.
    I hope it will settle. Also grow my hair long so from time to time I come back to your channel to see how your hair is doing. Since your video "journey to waist length hair" I allways come back 😊

    Btw, I’d recommend saving up for a Dyson if you want to use heat on your hair regularly, they’re expensive but that’s because they fund their own research into making good quality stuff that’s the least damaging they can make it, I use the round brush on either the cold or medium setting every week, and my hair is fine! Of course because of this I need to have a pretty extensive hair routine (scalp and hair oiling, double shampooing, ten minute mask and conditioner, leave in, serum, and a few drops of serum on the ends daily) but it’s worth it, I’m not a fan of my curly hair because I can only ever get it to look good for one day, so this is what I do

    • @FoFoFolusho
      @FoFoFolusho 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What's the use of using the Dyson on the cool setting? You could use any hair blower in that case.

    • @aminaa5824
      @aminaa5824 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FoFoFolusho well I don’t use it on cool all the time, just when I don’t really need my hair to look great but I still want it to be dry and smooth, because I don’t want to be constantly using heat on my hair if I don’t need to, I could use others but not all dryers have a cool setting and I can use this with the round brush and still have niceish hair after instead of just air that will make it frizzy, also it’s the only one I have. I hope this answers your question :)

There’s one hack which works for me. After washing my hair, I like to air dry and when it’s totally dry, I braid it and sleep with a silk cap. I don’t know what sorcery plays in but I always wake up with really soft silky hair. Hope this helps!

But my hair is also on the fine and thinner side and if it's dirty and oily and/or straight, I look like a wet rat 😭I've been thinking of trying proper Moroccan oil though, so if it keeps yours smooth with regular use, then def worth a try for me.

    Add a little coconut oil into that olive oil and you'll not need to buy a hairoil for the lengths ✌🏽

    I think you have wavy hair which just looks and feels dry, but it actually is just the structure. Its not really dry.

    Your hair is so pretty, I don't know why you don't see it! But since you want it longer, you're manipulating it way, way way too much! And you don't need that much product. Just let it be, use some olive oil, thats it! You'll be surprised how much faster it will grow.

    Don’t apply conditioner to roots! It makes hair greasy and hair won’t grow
