Started skateboarding 3 weeks ago and your videos have really inspired me to work at it almost everyday. I've also managed to find a few new friends at my local parks because of it. Thanks to everyone at Braille!
I think this is a fantastic idea for a series. I'm nearly 18 and I've only been skating for a couple months but I think it'd be a brilliant motivation to see Lance work his way up, just as me and so many other people want to. It gives you that little bit of inspiration that makes you think you CAN do it! So please go ahead with this series, and make it as good as you can. It's the development itself that motivates me. The fact that I can see someone else developing alongside me would make a world of difference. So thank you.
I am so stoked for this series... I think it'll be cool to watch him go through everything it takes to get sponsored, almost like a reality tv show or something
Hi, I'm Jonny, I'm 30 years old and I was totally inspired by Lance to learn how to skate. It's something I'd always wanted to learn and Lance showed me that it's never too late to try.
Binged a shit ton of episodes. Just wanna say Aaron's sense of humor is so raw, but is genuinely a nice guy. Love the work and dedication Braille has put in. Shout out to Revive for the long haul as well.
There's competitive and non competitive "professionals". Its cool that relatively normal people that work hard can find sucess. IMO, Kyro is Famous because of youtube and is sponsored by a company making him him a legitimate Non-competitive Professional. He is working in a specialized field that takes skill and makes a living off that skill. He might even be more popular than many competitive skaters in traditional pro leagues. Anology: Imagine a professional slam dunker that might do shows and exhibitions or something to make money and then imagine a salaried NBA player in a basketball league. These two fields are the same sport but different levels of Pro and have similar audiences. That being said there is alot of Hate on Kyro which I dont think its deserved.I think he makes skating interesting and helped being in alot of interest from the youth who spend to much time on the computer. Braile dosnt take anything away from competitive skating, if anything the that type of skating will get more exposure when these kids get deeper and deeper into skating. Keep on doing what your doing Braille!
i quitted skateboarding 7 years ago..(i'm 27 now) then i started watching your channel few months ago and i bought a new board again! but like Lance i don't have much time to skate..but i think that this series will make A LOT of people jumping for the first time on a skateboard,or jumping back on it again like i did ! keep up the great work cheers from Italy!
Lance is barely 24! Of course he can get better! But only if he truly wants too! I stopped skating for about 7 years and 2 years on and off so a total of 9 years not really caring much about it! Im 24 now and been skating for 7 months! You wont beleive how much better I've gotten! Not to mention all the new tricks that i learned and it almost seems as if i never stopped! But like i said you have to have heart for skating bc if you dont any little distraction will keep you away from getting better! So it all depends on how bad you want it and how much you love it! Keep it up Aaron! Much love from LA
It's been 10 years since I last skated. I wasn't very good at that point (was still learning to ollie). I'm 24 now and I will try my best to learn to skateboard. What I'm trying to say is to just go for it. :)
im 30 and iv been doin the same after over 10 years of not doing it, and losing 30 kgs. i got kickflips and bigflips back. 50-50 ledges and learning more
Yes. Lance can do it. ANYBODY can learn to skate and learn to get good. ANYONE, through hard work and determination can get to their goals. Good luck out there Lance! I hope it works out! And Aaron if you're reading this I got back into skating mainly because of this channel. Every trick I've learned so far (other than the Ollie but your vids still helped me perfect it) is because of this channel! Thanks for YOUR support!!! Oh and happy holidays guys! Keep up the good work! Give me a shoutout if ya can!
Skate for fun, and get better with your friends. if you keep working, then you'll get sponsored. Don't skate for the material things, skate because it's what you love. Make friends that skate for the love, not for what it offers. If you stay true to what you do, you'll succeed. "Surround yourself with people who wanna understand the vision."
Hey man. I'm 28 in the uk. I decided to skateboard a few days ago. First was just riding to get comfortable outside. Today I went to dynamix skatepark for 2 hours. I went to the bowl and practiced on that then I did like 150 ollies I landed like 10 or 15, but been using your tips and getting some good hight. Same again tomorrow and then in a few days I will try dropping in 😂. I enjoy it so much and it works up a sweat. It's brilliant. It's a sport and the way I see it. It's not just for kids no way.... Sponsor me?? Hahaha I'm just joking. Thanks for the vids though man, these videos with lance are brilliant 👍
Its now 3 Month ago , how it work out I Started yesterday too and i am 21 and Had no chance to get a Skateboard when i am was Teen thats why i Start now
Hey Aaron, I'm 24 and I'm getting really hyped to skate lately, thanks for this channel and thanks for saying "not only kids watch this" cause it's true ;). I'm going through the steps of basics of skateboarding right now and just skating to have fun and get some exercise done, so yeah, thank you you're great.
This series works well with Lance. His development from ground up, plus being older. Is inspiration to those who think they are not naturally gifted at skateboarding. This series has peaked my interest, so i'm certainly going to follow Lance's progression.
I really like the Idea. I've watched lance grow and learn the basics really quickly. I have been practicing myself a lot and haven't grown quite as fast, I believe lance could easily grow fast enough and well enough in skating to get some sort of sponsor.
Thanks so much for making this series ive been working on sponsor me videos and questioning if im good enough this is perfect!!!! You guys help my skateboarding so much!
Don't get me wrong gabe is a cool guy but people don't like him for some reason, maybe he has a punchable face. Lance is an underdog though and people want to see him succeed
I agree. I like lance and all but I would like to see this series focus on Gabe. Gabe actually likes to skates and probably skates everyday. Lance only skates here and there. It would be nice to actually see someone who loves to skates get sponsored. Aaron should have both Lance and Gabe try to get sponsored in the series and see who gets sponsored first and see the different results.
Aaron you've inspired me so much, I love the way you teach and you have made me want to start a video and I now have the mind set to believe that I can do it Thank you aaron
Hey Aaron today I just landed Kickflips clean and done gonna keep on landing them. A BIG THANKS TO UR VIDIO 5 steps to better kickflips. It really helped me thank you!
To everyone saying skating is just for fun why worry about all this, well this is part of the fun. Also with everything happening for Aaron, Lance must feel like being sponsored is just an awesome normal part of skating.
Why is everybody so damn focused on getting a sponsor? Really, why don't you just skate for fun ? It makes me so pissed off that people are just skateboarding for recognition and not for the love of the sport. I honestly don't give a shit about getting a sponsor or not, if you get an opportunity then take it but don't aim for getting a sponsor, that's just not how it's supposed to be.
I see what you mean but someone like me I have been skating for almost 7 years and I loved every year but I want to take it a step further and get sponsored it's not like I started skating just to get sponsored it wasn't until recently. Not everyone who wants to get sponsored started skating for that while some people do I know alot of people that weren't like that
Lance is a cool dude and really talented. He got the basics down really fast! But I guess he's to old to become a pro... Till he can all the advanced stuff he's probably 30+... Companys are looking for you g people... I dont want to discourage you Lance, but you should just ride for fun! And you probably get some money from TH-cam and you got thousands of fans, what do you want more? :D
Skating isnt about age...you can skate even if you are over 50 and still have a sponsor. As long as he doesn't stop skating it will all be ok (i hope :D)
I completely think Lance can get sponsored by a smaller shop if he just puts time and effort into it you can do it, cant wait for the upcoming series!!!
Aron you have to keep doing this series because a lot of other people including myself would love to get sponsored so keep showing the people of braille army how to get sponsored and stuff Thanks
Hey Aaron, just want to say this is a brilliant idea and will really help me and many others, thanks so much! (: You and Lance put in so much effort into this channel and me and all you subscribers really appreciate it. Thanks bro
This is an awesome series! You can do it Lance! We believe in you :) If you happen to see this message Aaron/Lance, it would be great if you made a video about setting goals for 2015 for new skaters and getting started skating again. I'm just about to turn 20 years old and wanting to get back into skating, and would love some advice as to getting motivated and stay progressing everyday! I've bought some SMS's and plan to get them down by the end of 2015 hopefully! Only problem is, I'm from a country where not many people skate, but you guys really have got me back into skating, so thanks!
aaryon is so considerate and nice i swear he want litterally to show kids that arent that good how to get sponsored just by skateboarding that is so cool especially because i am that kid deep in michigan trying to get sponsored
I understand what you are saying and now I will work my butt off so I can try my hardest to get sponsored. Also you are an inspiration to me you got me to try my hardest on the ollie. I would want to learn how to ollie higher. Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!
Aaron is really an awesome dude, like no other skater is more community orientated and wants to help others get to where he is or better, the skate support series are great along with all the other vids. Keep doing what your doing Aaron and maybe the community will decide to give back. *****
This is a rad idea. You can do anything you put your mind to, as long as you are willing to put forth the time and effort. It will be sick to see this, and hopefully it'll also inspire people.
Aaron you should have both Lance and Gabe try to get sponsored in this series. It would be cool to see two different people with difference experiences and approaches to skateboarding try and see their outcomes.
A lot of respect for making a video everyone can do. This is what people need to know. How can a fresh name who isn't insanely good get sponsored without connections? Glad your keeping it that way, cause everyone knows it's really easy to get free stuff as a popular youtuber (something most people are not).
Dear Lance, Just a few observations from someone that is 26 years old and has been skateboarding for a little over a year, and has used many Braille videos to learn to skate. The first thing is "making it big time." It seems like what you want most out of skating is the free shit that comes along with it. Like wanting to use your Braille affiliation to get stuff for free. Now everybody that skates, wether they admit it or not, would love to be sponsored. But that comes from a love of skating, because of the countless hours you spent doing it to perfect a trick. You should love the "two to make it true" rule. Because what's the point of landing one front shuv, saying you learned it, and when someone wants to see it it takes 15 trys.. After I landed my first pop shuvit I must have done 40 over the next two hours. Because if you make a sponsor me tape and send it in and then you get sponsored and then you show up not being able to do the tricks consistently then that sponsorship won't last very long. And the second thing is WATCH A DAMN SKATE VIDEO!!!! You can't have another grown ass man picking out your lines. There's tons of skaters that have parts out with not very difficult tricks in them, but they have style and it looks dope as shit. Watch any mark Gonzales parts. Watch Keith hufnagels part non-fiction, he just ollies and 180s the crap out of everything. And Wes kremer cuz he got the illllllllest steez. So in conclusion, skate cuz you love it not for t shirts. And watch every damn skate video ever and figure out what you like and thinks looks cool. And then go do that shit. That being said. Keep it up. Your killing it.
Aaron I think you should tell lance to do the full line up of tricks in volume 1 of skateboarding made simple, to see if he can move on to volume 2. No help just tell him to do the tricks In order 1 by 1.
So, When I was playing golf in my younger years, there were Professional Golfers and Golf professionals. The Professional Golfers played in Pro Tournaments and made money from their winnings and sponsorships. The Golf Professionals made thier money from giving lessons and running the Clubhouse. Running the Club house doesn't sound like a money maker but when you consider the Pro gets a cut of all sales in the proshop, a cut of all the greens fees, a cut from all carts rented and all of the money from lessons given, it adds up to a rather good living. So translate that to Professional Skate Boarders and Skate Board Professionals.
That kid in Michigan skating his heart out IS MEEEE!!!!!!
Haha sweet man, keep it up!
Progress report?
Started skateboarding 3 weeks ago and your videos have really inspired me to work at it almost everyday. I've also managed to find a few new friends at my local parks because of it. Thanks to everyone at Braille!
I wish I had someone like you aaron

I really enjoy the videos with Aaron, he's a real good guy and a great skater.
Lance you can do it just stick with it. I will love this series can't wait. Good job Lance!

Rick Tarrant I'd be delighted if I could do that before I'm 30. :)
so pumped for this and Im sure everyone else is too now that this is on the internet LANCE HAS TO DO IT. I am 100% confident in him
What is cool about living in Canada, is that NOBODY skates. Your chances to be sponsored are upgraded to 200% if you live here.
ikr i live in NFLD so its cold as shit and sometimes you slip or grind a rail/road with black ice on it xD
Yes. Lance can do it. ANYBODY can learn to skate and learn to get good. ANYONE, through hard work and determination can get to their goals. Good luck out there Lance! I hope it works out! How’s the progression ?
PROGRESSION?!?!?!?!?
How aren't lances shoes torn up.. he's been wearing the same ones the whole time

Hey Aaron, I'm 24 and I'm getting really hyped to skate lately, thanks for this channel and thanks for saying "not only kids watch this" cause it's true ;). Well*
Well look into that!

I think Lance should try and get sponsored just to get better at his skateboarding. As in just practice skateboarding hahah
For sure! And that's exactly what he's gonna do!
howva
Thanks so much for making this series ive been working on sponsor me videos and questioning if im good enough this is perfect!!!! You guys help my skateboarding so much!
You should Do this series with Gabe Instead
Don't get me wrong gabe is a cool guy but people don't like him for some reason, maybe he has a punchable face. Lance is an underdog though and people want to see him succeed
I agree. I like lance and all but I would like to see this series focus on Gabe. Gabe actually likes to skates and probably skates everyday. Lance only skates here and there. Deven Dang Well, they could work to Lance first, then when he gets sponsored, (if he isn't already) try to help Gabe?
badass series fellas, keep this dynamic up please this duo and series is GOOOLLDDD
I have one question, and one question only: Why not gabe?
I would say that gabe is a lot further along in his skating skills and Aaron wants to show that a true beginner is capable of such a feat.
Aaron you've inspired me so much, I love the way you teach and you have made me want to start a video and I now have the mind set to believe that I can do it
Thank you aaron

To everyone saying skating is just for fun why worry about all this, well this is part of the fun. Also with everything happening for Aaron, Lance must feel like being sponsored is just an awesome normal part of skating.
Skate for fun, not to get sponsored. If that's all you think about, it will never happen.
People have fun trying to get sponsored buddy
I can't wait!! Lance can get sponsored !!!

Yeah I get you, I am talking about the people who do it just for getting recognition. Also not hating on Aaron.
***** get a job
Ma nigga
Christian Robinson Well no shit, but most of them do.
The idea for this series is really awesome.
Lance is 24 bro and Aaron is like 32
Yeah, but Aaron is skating for about 20 years
True
Skating isnt about age...you can skate even if you are over 50 and still have a sponsor. As long as he doesn't stop skating it will all be ok (i hope :D)
totally right boy !
Now have a 1,000,000 subscribers!!!
1.4 million now ;)
I love lance but seriously he's never going to get sponsored
U jinxed it :(
I completely think Lance can get sponsored by a smaller shop if he just puts time and effort into it you can do it, cant wait for the upcoming series!!!
Lance has to skate way more if he wants to get sponsored. He's had the same shoes for months so it's pretty obvious he doesn't skate every day.
true. I skated a pair of shoes for 4 months skating everyday.
So pumped on this series. Please do it.
if i am 16 is it to late to start skateboarding?
No
It's never to late too. doesn't matter how old you are if you like it, just do it
im 15 and i just started
thanks everyone
you'll be able to get an ollie and shuvit down within 2 weeks
Aron you have to keep doing this series because a lot of other people including myself would love to get sponsored so keep showing the people of braille army how to get sponsored and stuff

You got this lance!!! This series is a great concept!!!
Excellent. Can't wait for the comedy. Go on Lance!
Such a great idea!!!
Can't wait to watch this series...
I really hope this series shows lance filming for his sponsor tape. Because if it is omg I'll friggin love this
aaryon is so considerate and nice i swear he want litterally to show kids that arent that good how to get sponsored just by skateboarding that is so cool especially because i am that kid deep in michigan trying to get sponsored
Do it I can't wait to see the progression it'll be like a new favorite tv show... LETS DO IT
Great idea for a series pls upload these often this sounds great
I understand what you are saying and now I will work my butt off so I can try my hardest to get sponsored.
For sure man, thank you! The community does give back too. I love the support from people like you!
You got this lance, with aaron teaching you personally itll be awesome. Hard work and determination. man excited for you
Thanks bro!
Really looking forward to this series!
Honestly this video helped me so much! I'm so determined to go for a sponsor thanks so much Aaron!!😊
This is a rad idea. You can do anything you put your mind to, as long as you are willing to put forth the time and effort. It will be sick to see this, and hopefully it'll also inspire people.
Super excited for this series !
Aaron you should have both Lance and Gabe try to get sponsored in this series. It would be cool to see two different people with difference experiences and approaches to skateboarding try and see their outcomes.

yes Aaron! This series is an awesome idea
yo! this series is going to be awesome, i was thinking of sending a tape to some companies this summer so this series are gonna help me out alot!
This is a awesome idea for a series.
I think it's awesome how Aaron is helping and motivating Lance to get a sponsorship. Keep it up Lance, don't give up ;)
For sure! We're both gonna work together on this!
This is perfect! Lance needs to realize how bad people want to see the progression. That's what skateboarding is and we want to see you get better!!
Lance goes Pro! I can't wait for that video xD
Just discovering you guys at Braille. Phenomenal what you're doing.
this is going to be amazing so excited
Dear Lance,

No help just tell him to do the tricks In order 1 by 1.
go lance you guys have pushed me to learn how to skate and do contests in my own town
Please keep going with this series. It looks really interesting. :)
I can't wait for the series!!!!!!!!!!
This series would be really helpful.
This is going to be so awesome! Great Idea, Aaron. :)
this series will be sick aaron! I think he can get sponsored if he puts a real effort on it and skate every day
I think Lance doesn't know how inspiring he is for newbies
This is amazing !! GO LANCE !!!
This will be a great series
Lance you can do it get this series started!!!!
I look up to Lance and I really like that they made a video to try and get him sponsored
