Juthai Vishal! Nisini Nohla majangbi. This is a beautiful video on traditional rice-wine making from the Dimasa perspective. Having grown up in a Borosa household, I am quite acquainted with the rice wine-making process. The method is almost the same. We call the Humao (yeast) Amao (एमाव) and these are made into round balls instead of flat cakes. Interestingly 4 pieces of Humao/Amaos are considered 1 unit (ज'खायसे) of ingredient required to prepare one-earthen pot of rice-wine. Hence, in some of the eastern Borosa dialect it's also called "Jokhai" otherwise every other Borosa calls it Jou.
Away from home and kinda watching your vlog specially this one makes me feel nostalgia ❤ anyways as always your vlogs are awesome vishal da 💕 and also thanks for showcasing our traditional rice beer seems super duper good 😁
