I am obviously biased living in Vancouver Canada, but the Pacific Northwest is a very hard to beat cruising ground. The entire area, from Seattle and Vancouver through the inside passage to Alaska is spectacular. Worthwhile for all, from smaller yachts through Serengeti and larger. I have seen Serengeti and she is lovely cruising yacht, a well deserved reputation.
What a lovely warm vibe this boat has, so inviting 😊 And I can't imagine anywhere better to cruise than Alaska! Absolutely perfect package!!! 🤗 Thanks for showing.
... the quiet energy that exudes from this Yacht, is quite palatable ... her name 'Serengeti' is from the Maasi word Siiringet; meaning; '(serene) endless horizon ...the colourway of crushed orange, deep earth tones & the gold touches do evoke the African spirit ... the top leg finials of golden seraphims is awesome ... very, very breathtaking ...@ the bar a 'hot soughdough buttered rum' & the Kodiak coffee sounds scrumptious ... this satisfying libation might be like the favourite Guinness dark ale that 'eats' like meal ... totally satisfying .. I absolutely love the fishing ... halibut ... is there a crab population? ... or, arctic char? ... the deck space is truly relaxed luxury ... I love the burma sea-jade w/ orange ...yes, I can imagine a dreamy heavy snowfall as you cruise along on minimum speed ... good visibility, but that soft delicate comfort that comes with observing the weather, not 'out in it' ... gorgeous masterful craftmanship on the inlaid woodwork ... well, she sure brings out the lioness in me ... with your lion at the helm you would have a heavenly journey, indeed ...
She’s a beautiful vessel. I’ve spent 47 of my 60 years in Alaska, about 25 years of that on the water as a commercial fisherman. I can tell you this, you could cruise there all your life and never see all of it. It has its own rugged beauty. Some day when I win the lottery I’ll take a nordhavn there and live out the rest of my days on it
Hi David. The interior is timeless. Stunning woodwork and soft furnishings. Alaskan backdrop aboard this established 20 year old boat. . Awesome. Great video thanks 😊
This video not only never came up in my recommended section, it also never came with a notification that it was released. I was watching a video about something completely different and there it was under that video. In America your videos come at super late or super early times. So sometimes they get missed unless I look for them.
So how long should you go on a trip and what would something like that cost generally? I know if you need to ask you cannot pay. But when I win the lottery spending time on an yacht is on the top of my bucket list
He actually has a link to their website in the little info bubble up at the top. Looks like it starts off at $140,000 a week, bu that's just the secure the boat and the crew for a week...you have to pay additional for food and fuel.
So if you live on the East Coast of the US and owned a yacht, how would you get to Alaska? Would you have to go all the way down to the Panama Canal or is there a quicker way to get there? Plus, what's up that lady's accent...she sounds like she is trying hard to mimic an American accent, but I can't really place it.
Wow! You had me at that aft deck dining table… exquisite
