And what is the box under the front camera? Also, the fingerprint sensor was not shown, which I'm currently having an issue with. The fingerprint sensor works intermittently. Hello. If I remove the back cover of the phone, should I re-glue the edges or can I just install it without glue? My back cover is a bit loose. Thank you.

Perfect one to ask this question: I accidentally shoved the ejector pin into the hole in the bottom of the phone (microphone/speaker opening?) instead of the SIM card tray hole… Do you think that I could have damaged anything (waterproofing, that rectangular component on the USB PCB looking like a crystal, etc.)?
Most likely you did not damage it. Its a solid piece (the square/rectangular gold colored piece on the mainboard). Also you will be safe most likely with the water resistance as well, its too small of a hole to worry about.
There is a metal bracket holding them in place. Once you take the phone and have access to it, you just need to pull up on the metal bracket in the slot where the keys are and pull it out then that should free the buttons to fall into the frame to remove them.
