I got my 590A1 about a month ago. My safety and action slide were a little stiff out the box but oiled it up took it to the range and it’s perfect now .
You can actually bend the heat shield just enough that magpul forend will work… Imagine you could take it off and trim it up. Possibly take a lil material off the the forend also. Both very nice, I’m expecting A1 tomorrow
I got the SPX version with bayonet. I purchased the magpul furniture afterwards. It did cost quite a few hundred $ more, but it's okay. The optics is slightly more premium on this version.
I bought the 20 inch model with the ar15 collapsible stock and pistol grip. I ordered the magpul stock set last week because the pistol grip version is way too tall and gets hooked on EVERYTHING, as well as you can't reach the safety or the release without taking your hand off the grip
Yes i looked at those, but i'm hesitant, i have a surefire one on my 870 PM and i'm not a fan of the ergonomic. Beside i just ordered a pretty sweet and rare modular aluminum 6061-T6. Stay tuned Thanks for watcing!
Thanks for watching. I Mean, hard to go wrong with stream light or sure fire, but I find them very expensive. I have been trying out Olight, good price during big sale event and so far it’s doing the job.
Nice overview. Do you know if you can remove the sling ring that's between the receiver and the stock? It seems like it would be in the way, especially if you don't need it.
@@PanzerGunsAmmo Cool! Do you find that the ring is in the way? Is the small spacer that's included with the gun used to take up the area where the ring was if you remove it?
It's not that black and white. At the price point, i truly beleive the Supernova is incredible. But i still personally prefer the 590a1. For me, the reason i prefer the 590A1, it's built a bit more solid, but that means it's heavier, also i like my shotgun to be modular and for that rem and mossberg are the way to go. In short, they are both great shotgun, but if i could only own one between the 2, it would be the 590A1. Check out fabarm, they also make great shotguns.
@PanzerGunsAmmo thanks for the reply. I've checked out Fabarm too but they are really pricey. Think that the Mossberg is the way to go. Have a Supernova tactical but am ready to change it out as the Mossberg looks more robust
@@hclarke116 The 590A1 magpul edition is probably the best bang for your buck. Just wait for it to be on special and get it then. I also just purchased a 590S, (can chamber mini shells) so stay tune for videos.
The 590A1 is a fantastic shotgun, but Magpul is one of the most overrated peddlers of Chinese plastic, ever. 2 out of 3 Magpul products of mine actually broke. I'd prefer the 590a1 Retro any day.
As this being my first magpul stock, I can’t comment on the longevity yet but it seems decent. Better than plastic stock that come on factory guns. That being said I do own a retrograde and it is nice !!! I have try different stocks lately and I must say the Woox wood furniture is impressive. Thanks for watching!
This Magpul edition is really nice, i find you get a lot for the price. Let me know what your 590A1 model is?

yes it did get better, great shotgun!
Same here. Super stiff My 590s isn't stiff.
Great boomstick. Mine is the 18.5" version that I added Magpul furniture to and I love it. It's my go-to home defense shotgun.
Nice! Yes it’s a very nice shotgun. Check out my 590SBS, it’s a pretty cool setup for home defence.
Thanks for watching!

@@hughchen9683 yes i know, magpul is crazy money.
I own 590 A1 retrograde Very good choice 👍 my friend
Yes I love the 590A1’s! The retrograde is the prettiest of the bunch for sure 😁

@@PanzerGunsAmmo Can you make a video on how to mount an Olight flashlight on this Mossberg 590A1 Magpul model?
What’s the barrel length on the other one. It’s nice
Thanks! Yes it's a really nice shotgun. Barrel is 20 inch on this one.
oops sorry did you mean the one with the wood stock, it's 14 inch.

Thank you. Yes it is removable. Also you can buy those for your magpul stock for both Remington and mossberg.

Is the front sight tritium?
No it’s not, it does however have a nice white line on the front post for day use.
