In addition, the stealth bonus in general makes it so that collecting ingredients to be stupid easy, and you can just walk up to bugs, lizards, and fairies and grab them at a full run. In addition, stealth makes it easier to sneak kill enemies. Idk it's my only S tier armor for this reason.
My favorite armor set is the stealth set but royal guards armor is good in my eyes and I also like the soldiers gear because for me by that point it's cheaper than stealth set and on first upgrade reaches 7 armor points max which i like

If youre exploring mountains, you should do vah medoh helmet (see hp bar), rito shirt and snow boots for walk speed in snow. For desert do desert voe helmet and shirt and sand boots

@@SuperGoker64 I honestly didnt read all that I just skimmed through stuff but the champions tunic is better as someone you combine with the ancient set, for example, Ancient Helm, Champions Tunic, and Ancient Leggings, or since I see you like attack power, Barbarian Helm, Champions Tunic, and Ancient Leggings, (My personal favorite)
My fav armour was the ancient guardian set cuz when u upgrade it twice in the fairy thing you get a lot of defence and +80% dmg multiplayer to ancient weapons and if u have the max ATTACK up ITS BROKEN I've only had that combo onec in a save of botw
Considering that the Radiant set is basically a luchador outfit, it would be so cool seeing Link using wrestling moves as finishers, like suplexing Bokoblins, backbreaking Lizalfos or choking Lynels.
i always use the ancient set and agree with this, it has such high defense and has the ancient proficiency buff which makes ancient weapons better to use because it makes them deal such high damage. ancient weapons become pretty common mostly because of trial of strength shrines
My fav comb is champion tunic, hylian leggings and the amber headpiece because it gives you a good defense and since you dont see the headpiece you look like the link in the memories xD
Because i like being stylish... I usually use the climbing shirt dyed black (have it in blue, red and white... i just love the shirt), hylian trousers, black usually, and the circlet It doesn't add anything but looks stylish asf for me
I honestly like the hylian tunic colored green and the cap of time with the hylian pants.Because it looks like something new yet familiar at the same time.
My favorite combo as of yet is the Hylian garb's chest piece and hood, and the soldier's greaves. it looks good and (as I haven't had the game that long) it's my best combination because I upgraded the Hylian stuff before the soldier's armor.
The only set I wear together is the climbing set and stealth .....I wouldn't be caught dead using the Ancient Armor head gear.....same for my horse....you don't have to dress up in the little outfits if you know how to kick butt.....I love this game.
I like the Fierce Deity set, it gives you not-the-best-but-better-than-nothing base defence but can be upgraded, gives link attack power up and makes link look like really cool
I like the ancient armor. It is incredibly powerful with any weapon of choice with 3 attack up potions/food. It’s defense is second highest in the game. It has the most powerful attack boost and has a good design.
The Fierce Deity armor is undoubtedly the best armor in the game. It has the same buff as the barbarian armor and has decent defense. It also looks great. It just sucks that you can only get it from an amibo.
My favorite set (cosmetically) is the Champion's tunic and the Hylian Set, but in the field I typically wear the Ancient Set, but I replace the Cuirass with the Champion's tunic for the max defense, guardian resist, and the ability to see the health remaining so I can switch my weapon accordingly.
I think this proves to be a fine enough baseline, but it could be improved for a more comprehensive rating. For example, how expensive or hard to get is the armor? how easy is it to upgrade? Does it hold any value outside of being armor (i.e. the Wild set being a reward for clearing every shrine)? How aesthetically pleasing is it? How are the dyeing options? How easily can one mix and match pieces of the armor set with different armor pieces? Are there any unique abilities unlocked by wearing the armor as well as how useful those abilities are? All this in mind, under such a system, I feel the Zora set would score a great deal higher. It's gorgeous, it lets you preform the aquatic spin dash, let's you climb waterfalls (and this skip most of Hyrule Castle), it's easy to obtain pretty early on in the game, and it's also the last memento of the most tragic character in the game. It might not have the raw defensive factor of the Ancient set, but IT WAS MADE WITH LOVE DAMMIT!!!
For me, I would use Champion's Tunic along with Ancient Greaves and Diamond Circlet so it is practically the strongest armor set in terms of defense because of Champion's Tunic being the strongest in base defense and Ancient Set being the strongest set in the game. I mostly use because it fits better than the Ancient Helm. Some might argue that it's better because it helps with the ancient profiency 80% set bonus with the Ancient Soldier set but because I am wearing the Champion's Tunic, I didn't really bother to use the Ancient Helm. Plus, I read in the Zelda Wiki that the Circlet gives a secret bonus of 20% Ancient Profiency. I don't know if it is true but I'll stick to the Circlet anyway since I like how it looks. Edit: For a cheaper version, I would probably wear either Champion's Tunic with Soldier set for it's defense or the Tunic with the Soldier Greaves and Amber Earrings. It won't have the Guardian Resist that comes with the Diamond Circlet and Ancient Set but it is cheaper.
We all know the best armor is tingle set I mean the tingle set blends in with bushes and ...... that's it oh also with the set you scare away npcs so beetle can't hire someone to take your energetic beetle when asleep
I either run champion's tunic, hylian trousers, and amber earings because it is the BotW Link, and bc the amber earrings don't change too much, or I run a green-dyed hylian tunic, hylian trousers, and the cap of the wild as it looks very similar to the iconic Link with a little BotW sprinkled in. Neither of the two are sets but they are the most fun to play as for me.
i didn’t even research which armour was the best, i just felt in my gut that ancient was great cause i read somewhere that it had the ancient proficiency bonus
Phantom Ganon set has the same bonuses as the Radiant Set. But I like Phantom Ganon more because of the stealth. Sneak attack + Bone up + Dragonbone moblin club hits like a truck. Very useful and fun in Master mode.
My favorite armor sets are the Phantom Ganon armor, the Ancient armor, the Dark Link armor, the Champions armor, the Sheikah armor, and I think that's all of my most worn.
Tingle set should have been first ngl I’ve been only using that and Hylian armour for years and it just makes the game so much more fun because it actually challenges the player in battles with lynels and etc instead of having super op buffs also it’s tons of fun running around at night just killing everything in your path
My best armor build is the Ancient Armor Leggings for defense, champions tunic for defense and ability to see enemy health, and warrior helmet for attack, all max upgraded and I only take like 2-3 hearts from lynel attacks
A good idea for stopping the 4 way tie in second is on how practical they would be or which would get more use, for example, the Zora armor and the climbing gear both tie, but since the game requires more climbing than waterfalls throughout the game, climbing gear would win.
fifth, i love steath armor, but most of the time i use the diamond circlet, champions tunic, and aincient pants, for the extra defence of 88 (which is the most in the game) and the guardian resist up, i hang oout in central hyrule alot.
So when i am trying to have my defense up, ill wear the soldier greaves, the champion tunic, and the amber earings. While just goofing around, my favorite combo is the royal guards cap, the nintendo shirt, and the hylean pants
I honestly prefer the hylian set with the chest piece dyed tan, legs brown, and the cap of the wild once unlock it in a new playthrough. *the twilight cap works good with it too
My favorite combo is cap of the wild, champ tunic, and rubber pants. It looks cool and its pretty defensive as well. Outside of just the main game id switch the of the wild cap with the of twilight one as TP is my favorite game and the link from it has my favorite haircut
i like barbarian armor. it has good defence and it boosts your attack. it makes also charge attacks spend less stamina so when u spinning with two handed weapon while fighting lynel you can deal more damage
For me my personal mixed set would be champions tunic, ancient greaves pr whatever its called, and this ones optional between the hylian hood and the barbarian helm
My favourite armour is the flamebreaker armour It lets me explore death mountain Its useful for fighting enemies with fire abilities and shrines with fire(twice upgraded) And its best armour for resisting guardians
Can I just mention Rubber armour is literally useless because the thunder helm exists. I don't have a best armour set in my opinion but my favourites are the sheikah stealth suit or the Champion's tunic with Soldiers greaves and the diamond circlet. Insane defence and looks sick.
easy fourth for me (snowquill set (not only looks good but has an amazing effect)) however I also do own (and use) the ancient armour for hyrule castle speciffically
My favorite set has to be the wild set because you can dye it so it can look like any iconic Zelda tunic from the series and Ancient armor because links hair long 😄
The day I made this comment, I just got the full zora set. I am really disappointed that no one talks about the water spin attack, I think its awesome.
If you wear the wild set but wear the champions tunic, it gives you a great look plus great defense plus you get to see monsters health. And I'd suggest to die the hat to blue to it at least matches

I use the Ancient Armour for farming Ancient Cores off Guardians in the Akkala Wetlands (or whatever it’s called) and Hyrule Field
0:13 I laughed so much that my grandfather came up from the grave
🤣
🤣🤣
I waste so much time just for beautiful and expensive armors in the first place and now link is more pretty than usual :D
This video was so cool and nice to see I loved it :) I love the Sheika's clothes they make Link look so badass
My fav comb is champion tunic, hylian leggings and the amber headpiece because it gives you a good defense and since you dont see the headpiece you look like the link in the memories xD
Because i like being stylish...
I usually use the climbing shirt dyed black (have it in blue, red and white... i just love the shirt), hylian trousers, black usually, and the circlet
It doesn't add anything but looks stylish asf for me
I honestly like the hylian tunic colored green and the cap of time with the hylian pants.Because it looks like something new yet familiar at the same time.
My favorite set is the stealth set so happy it made up the ranks
i wear a combo of the soldiers armor and the champions tunic because it has really good defense stats and you can see enemy hp
Mine was the wild set, but now that I think about it it’s gonna be ancient armor, and I subscribed 👍🏻
I'm not coping, you're coping.
If only Zelda had animal crossing music
My favorite clothes combo is champion's tunic, soldier's greaves dyed brown, and earrings (doesn't matter what type)
i use the champions tunic ALOT but i gotta say, theres something so cool about the phantom ganon armor that makes it my favoraite
I love the ancient armor because of the ancient weapon boost, nice video
i like the of the wild set bc it has good def and looks cool
The Barbarian Armor, Stealth Suit, Royal Guard Outfit, Soldier's Armor, Outfit of Time, Outfit of Twilight and Tunic of the Wild.
We all know the best armor is tingle set I mean the tingle set blends in with bushes and ...... that's it oh also with the set you scare away npcs so beetle can't hire someone to take your energetic beetle when asleep
I know I spelt beedles name wrong
I either run champion's tunic, hylian trousers, and amber earings because it is the BotW Link, and bc the amber earrings don't change too much, or I run a green-dyed hylian tunic, hylian trousers, and the cap of the wild as it looks very similar to the iconic Link with a little BotW sprinkled in. Neither of the two are sets but they are the most fun to play as for me.
The grind for giant ancient cores is real
Just do the duplication glitch
@@AsapMilk fax just do transmutation glitch
Although u do need atleast 5 multi shot bows. Preferably 3 shot and 5 shot but duplex bows work aswell and u need 1 singular shock arrow
Phantom Gannon set is my favorite.I also like to mix the skull with the royal guard set.
i didn’t even research which armour was the best, i just felt in my gut that ancient was great cause i read somewhere that it had the ancient proficiency bonus
My fav is the ancient and for two reasons.
1. It makes you strong against guardians
2. It looks awesome
Tingle set should have been first ngl I’ve been only using that and Hylian armour for years and it just makes the game so much more fun because it actually challenges the player in battles with lynels and etc instead of having super op buffs also it’s tons of fun running around at night just killing everything in your path
Barbarian set is my favorite
My best armor build is the Ancient Armor Leggings for defense, champions tunic for defense and ability to see enemy health, and warrior helmet for attack, all max upgraded and I only take like 2-3 hearts from lynel attacks
The only thing holding me back from wearing the ancient armour is how goofy it looks
hands down the best headpiece (from a fashion point of view, and my own opinion) is the gerudo voe ponytail because CMON LINKO HAS A LIL HIGH PONYTAIL
Ikr something about it I just LOVE that headpiece
A good idea for stopping the 4 way tie in second is on how practical they would be or which would get more use, for example, the Zora armor and the climbing gear both tie, but since the game requires more climbing than waterfalls throughout the game, climbing gear would win.
If you combine max champions tunic (32 def.) with max ancient helm and greaves, you get 88 def. making you the stongest
fifth, i love steath armor, but most of the time i use the diamond circlet, champions tunic, and aincient pants, for the extra defence of 88 (which is the most in the game) and the guardian resist up, i hang oout in central hyrule alot.
I'm a huge fan of the barbarian armor, and not shocked that it placed second.
I agree with you on everything except the green man armour. Green Man is legendary.
personally, I quite love the wild cap with the hylian tunic and trousers (the tunic is dyed green of course)
Always barbarian armour, changed to the climbing occasionally. Nice video 👍
So when i am trying to have my defense up, ill wear the soldier greaves, the champion tunic, and the amber earings.
While just goofing around, my favorite combo is the royal guards cap, the nintendo shirt, and the hylean pants
My default set when not affected by environmental effects is the Champion’s Tunic, Hylian Trousers and Amber earrings.
Climbing pants black, climbing shirt red, voe headset, and a mop. Would add sunglasses but can't.
I honestly prefer the hylian set with the chest piece dyed tan, legs brown, and the cap of the wild once unlock it in a new playthrough.
*the twilight cap works good with it too
I use the royal guards set a lot, because it makes it easier to travel a lot, which is fun imo
My favorite combo is cap of the wild, champ tunic, and rubber pants. It looks cool and its pretty defensive as well. Outside of just the main game id switch the of the wild cap with the of twilight one as TP is my favorite game and the link from it has my favorite haircut
my favorite armor set is any weird combination of armor pieces that I wear together purely for fashion's sake
i like barbarian armor. it has good defence and it boosts your attack. it makes also charge attacks spend less stamina so when u spinning with two handed weapon while fighting lynel you can deal more damage
I use the fierce deity set which is practically the same set
good video im a big fan :)
Thank you!
I use the diamond circlet, the champion’s tunic, and the soldier’s trousers. It definitely works for me!
Everyone: *saying what they use and how good it is at defense*
Me: *the twilight princess outfit*
For me my personal mixed set would be champions tunic, ancient greaves pr whatever its called, and this ones optional between the hylian hood and the barbarian helm
Fun fact: when you dye soldiers armor it recolors all of the armor instead of just the fabric
My favourite armour is the flamebreaker armour
It lets me explore death mountain
Its useful for fighting enemies with fire abilities and shrines with fire(twice upgraded)
And its best armour for resisting guardians
Can I just mention Rubber armour is literally useless because the thunder helm exists.
I don't have a best armour set in my opinion but my favourites are the sheikah stealth suit or the Champion's tunic with Soldiers greaves and the diamond circlet. Insane defence and looks sick.
“dont insult tiny green man” -quinbobin 2022
easy fourth for me (snowquill set (not only looks good but has an amazing effect)) however I also do own (and use) the ancient armour for hyrule castle speciffically
brilliant ranking system :D
yep ancient is my favorite set..... then the climbing gear followed by the voe with majoras mask{for looks}
My favorite set has to be the wild set because you can dye it so it can look like any iconic Zelda tunic from the series and Ancient armor because links hair long 😄
The day I made this comment, I just got the full zora set. I am really disappointed that no one talks about the water spin attack, I think its awesome.
I mean, I get the Gerudo set being the worst defense-wise, but it is sooooo much hotter than fricking tingle armor
phantom ganons my favourite, it looks so cool, hoping for a similar set in botw2!!
Climbing Gear is my go-to armor. Unless its night, then i prefer Stealth Armor so i can run quicker XP
I have 3 top favourites: the barbarian set, the phantom, and the gaurdian.
if you put on the ancient helmet, the ancient pants and the robe of the chosen one you get a protection of 88
Ancient greaves diamond circlet and champions tunic is one of my faves but there are a few combinations to get the max defense of 88
If you wear the wild set but wear the champions tunic, it gives you a great look plus great defense plus you get to see monsters health. And I'd suggest to die the hat to blue to it at least matches
its definitly a good idea to trust little l's "math" ...
rubber armor gets 2nd...
above like idk stealth and voe and rito and stuff...
...
