Deep Purple MK II The best live band in the world!!!!👌👌👌
recorded by Joe Maloney. JOE'S MEMORIES:
Happy 75th birthday today June 29 to the one and only Ian Paice...........long live to you, and thanks for all the great music.......You re the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
DEEP PURPLE is great British Rock Band !!!
Wow, DP is the best live band ever. No one can beat them!
Now we're talking about REAL Rock Music ❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I used to listen to made in japan and stare at th picture on the cover and imagine them playing, just one picture set a course for life thats all we had back then we had to use our imagination, brought creativity thats a big part of what those times allowed this greatest band of all time to flourish like they did to make DEEP PURPLE truly greater than all the rest imagination= awsome improvisation
It one of the best DP bootlegs i ever heard!Amazing quality!Ritchie's solo in Smoke On The Water is unbelievable!!😍
I have bootlegs of the Floyd from the early '70's and none of them sound this good. Damn fine recording, thanks!
13:58 That’s the best Smoke on the Water solo I’ve ever heard. So lyrical, legato and beautiful use of harmonic minor. Wow. And DAMN, the two solos on Strange Kinda Women are incredible. Blackmore was on another level this night.
(mk2 Purple) My favourite band, never tire of hearing them play.
The best bootleg album by Purple I've ever heard!
I have a Mk IV boot that is a little better, but this is definitely the best MKII boot out there.
Never heard this before--woah, gobsmacking this one!! Love the MKll lineup best and have a couple of commercial DVDs of them and this sounds killer as well. ! I'm only in in the middle of Highway Star and I'm already smiling----Purple could really bring it! All that talent on one stage...magnificent!
Better than this is not possible. Thank you DP
DEEP PURPLE- los mejores roqueros para todos los tiempos 🤘!
Nunca decepcionan (mientras el sonido sea aceptable)
They Never disappoint (as long as the sound is acceptable)
For people complaining about the sound quality of this BOOTLEG recording: My best guess is that this show was recorded directly from the soundboard to a compact cassette tape deck, primarily for the benefit of the live sound mixer's ex-post-facto reference. We are hearing all the instruments & vocals individually close miked, plus the entire backline wall of Marshall cabs & audience captured with room mikes, all of which flow to the board & are sent back through the PA. The weakest piece of equipment in the signal chain was, of course, the (relatively) low-fidelity 1/8-inch-wide tape of cassette recorder. But this was definitely not recorded by some determined kid with a portable, battery-operated cassette player & a piddly dictation mike that he managed to sneak past the friskers at the door in exchange for a lid of grass.
Pretty sure this is an audience recording - a bloody good one for the time but still. I've always liked this one - my fav from 73.
Dp is the greatest band of my life till i die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excelente 👏👏👏👏👍👊🇧🇷🎸🎹🎤🥁
Nice performance.
many thanks , good audio on this one ;)
I was there
Dare i say that Ian is singing better here than in MIJ ? I'm not sure if the source is reliable but i think Ian said that he was not happy with his performance in MIJ ... Anyway the sound quality, while ok for a 73 bootleg, is not perfect but his voice seems more powerfull and controled here. The Hofstra University footage, also from 73, has some of Ian best recorded live vocals. This band was on fire and at its peak in 1973 ... IMHO no other rock band ever came close of Deep Purple MKII's live performance. It's shame they didn't work out their differences at the time
Są trzy legendy Deep Purple.Zeppelin i Pink Floyd. 3:25
Richard Hugh Blackmore
Jonathan Douglas Lord
Ian Anderson Paice
Roger David Glover
Ian "The Voice Of Silver" Gillan
Mark 2 🎹🥁🎤🎸⚡🔥👊💪😎🤘
Not positive if it’s 72 Boston or 73 Boston, but legend has it it was one of those shows where a slightly trashed Ritchie accidentally destroyed his 1969 black Strat. Midway through the smash Blackmore realized he didn’t switch out to one of the “prop”(cheaper non modded parts Strats RB used for that purpose)Strats, but too late…so there ended the guitar that RB used to pen most of the songs on Machine head and other later Lps…#oops!
this recording has been around for years and its always brought as 1973, not sure when they first played MARY LONG considering it was recorded summer 72.
@@jonblackers4339 Yeah, definitely 73 - you can tell from the way they are playing - they sounded slightly different in 72, particularly Blackmore. Here, he's much more like the Burn tour. Mary Long was introduced (I think) early in the year, but was dropped a couple of months later.
❤
Thank you - great concert. Is John Lord using some kind of synthesizer from 33:28 to 33:52 (it sounds good but a little different to the normal organ)?
Is this a new improvement in soundquality. I seem to recall this tag definitive as from already some time ago.
リッチーは最高❤ディープパープルをさって評価されない存在はおかしい😂
1:09:59 Arcade machine sounds in 1973????
Great sound, for a bootleg from 50 years ago, but.can't be 1973 with Gillan and Glover still in the band.
MK 2 ended summer 73
Cd b..
MKIII didn’t get together until fall of ‘73, and Burn was released early ‘74.
Honestly, how can some people get it all wrong and think that Gillan and Glover weren't still in the band in 73 Christ also just because its 50 years ago why would the sound be shit?? 😤
@@garyunsworth726 In the 70's, most bootlegs, and I owned a lot of them, were hand held cassette recordings from way back in the audience. they were miserable, but they were all we had. I bought a Led Zeppelin boot from the LA Forum in 1970 with a slick cover and everything. There was no bass at all in the mix. None. So I recorded myself playing bass over the boot, onto a cassette, and sold copies of it at school. It wasn't bad because I'm a really good player. But you were lucky to find boots that were anywhere near as good as this one is. It is rare indeed. But you wouldn't know because you weren't around in the early 70's were you ? That's what I thought..
The sound is awfuuuuuuul!!!!!!!!!!!
Hater
Jadzia czyli Sławek kombinujesz
so good as made in japan
Dla mnie liczy się też dyscyplina.kto bardziej zniszczy instrumen jak jest zblazowany .Oczywiście wygrywa wokalista.😮
*Promosm* 😞
Normelly i hate bootlegs. But this !!!!!!!!!!!!
Ritchie is normaly super with his fender strat, but i'm tooootaaaaly fan of Gibson les paul standards. I hate ritchie, because he chanched 1970 from Gibson to fender. How much payed fender to you? No comment.
Nice recording but lacking energy from the band
This is an excellent snap in time of what was DP at the end of Mark II. But as big fan, I'd rate this as B- at best. Compared to Made in Japan it is much worse, obviously not technically but musically. Ritchie plays a lot of wrong notes, Jon was not at his best, only Ian's voice is so young and still fresh hitting the high notes in Child in Time almost perfectly. The drum solo is pretty much the same as in Japan. I was too young to see them live in '73 but if this was the real DP, I'm quite disappointed.
