I still have the Blackberry Passport. It was such a unique looking phone.Sometimes I feel like using it on a daily basis but sadly the software makes it unusable. The keyboard is so satisfying to type on. Sadly smartphones now a days are all same and boring. I really miss Blackberry , Nokia Lumia phones. If only there was a way to use windows phones today, I would totally switch.
The Windows mobile OS was probably the most satisfying OS I have ever seen. The animations, the all black OS, the title cards. The only and biggest flaw was their app store which was absolutely terrible in terms of app availability, other than that they were amazing phones. Great Display, Surprisingly Amazing Battery Life, Smooth and clean OS, the best Memory management of all the brands and their innovative camera lenses and features. Even the camera app was soo good
Nowadays even tho i love the Passport it's only good for text and calls, everything else is already gone! Even email doesnt work for me... maybe a Key2 lol
I'm a big fan of Blackberry 😍 But never ever had their phones cuz they were so expensive at that time. I know they had brand value and no doubt that they provided best hardware at the price. But sadly they ended up with smartphone industry. I wish they'll make a comeback once again so this generation can also experience what was the feel of having a Blackberry phone. ❤🤩
I really miss these brands. They were definitely innovative unlike today's brands that's all about bumping the specs. The competition would've been crazy today if these brands had continued.
LG was crazy innovative and way ahead if it's time. They introduced the concept of multi cameras, and their flushed back felt crazy premium. Till One Plus 7T, OP was also an amazing brand. Sad to see the only difference in different generations of phones has come down to just specs and camera lenses.
LG did innovation, Sony is doing the same, Asus is doing it with ROG, Samsung is doing it with foldables. Are you buying them ? If not then please don't say you miss innovation of these brands. When brands actually innovate and try something new, all they do is loose money. Only new thing you will find in Phones now is foldables, that is it, cause people bought them. That is also the reason why samsung is continuing it, else within 2 generations even that would have been ended. Same reason LG had to stop making smartphones and Sony is almost about to join them soon. While Rs. 1.5L iPhone which is same thing year over year and people buy it. Don't blame corporations here when people themselves are idiots.
I really miss HTC phones. They were really great. Music quality on headphones was totally a different experience. They were built to last, and, they were much ahead of their times. U11 had squeeze feature where we could customise the apps much like the physical button here. From 2010 to 2021 I owned nearly 4 HTCs, last one U11.
hey, thanx for upholding this nostalgic techs, it means a lot for me as a core BB fan. People now a days forgetting this legend , it just changed the world.. i still have my dads black berry curve , tho its in a bad condition but still use it whenever i come back to my home town during my college breaks. Again thanks a lot for this video.
Memories got refreshed watching this. I used Curve 9220 back in 2011-12. The universal search on BB phones was a next level feature. And innumerable shortcuts for each key brought enormous ease and functionality. And the tactile physical keyboard ... 😌
I had BB Bold and later Z30. My Z30 still works actually. I used BB phones from 2010 to 2018. The z30 had stereo speakers, which i got just now in a new phone (samsung A54) after so many years. I still use some of the BB softwares in my Samsung phone. On and the BB alarm tone, i had to import it. I never got a more soothing and useful tone ever.
Although I was not a Blackberry user in the past , if Blackberry somehow make a huge comeback like Motorola in the upcoming future and target in the flagship killer segment of phones (like OnePlus , Motorola Edge , Nothing & IQOO basically between 25- 40 K segment) then I am damn sure that millions of people in India will still buy a Blackberry phone because of its brand value and nostalgia.
Today - Xiaomi , Redmi ,Poco , Oppo , Vivo , IQOO ,OnePlus , Realme etc Early 2010s - Nokia, Blackberry , HTC , LG , Sony (Xperia) etc The only thing that is constant in both the eras are Samsung and Apple
2 main reasons i still miss my S9+ are the physical fingerprint sensor (which had multiple features) and the notification led (customizable by apps). I'd take those 2 any day over the in display/ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and AOD.
Blackberry was definitely a very creative company in many aspects - hardware, software, communication, design, feel and marketing. It was the epitome of formal coolness, and to this day no company ever has been able to reproduce a brand that embodies all of the aforementioned aspects. The only thing they failed at - keeping up with change and the OS competition. I never owned a Blackberry, but I always wanted one. Call me crazy but the phones even smelled different. I once used my brother's old Nokia E63 for a few years and that's the closest I've ever gotten to using a QWERTY keypad phone. It is truly a company worth case studying if you study business /marketing / branding.
I honestly like it's design better than some current gen phones. And their work on the software really shows that they care for user experience. Sad that many such innovative brands have lost to the competition.
I can understand but to be frank Us time pe 40k de kar iss phone ko lena isn't worth it at all Apart from that may be that keyboard is functional one But it doesn't make sense with a full fledged touch screen Android phone That's why it failed
I had BB Curve 9380 phone . I can definitely say Blackberry used most unique concepts and premium designs at that time as compared to other companies. All they lacked is change to Android in time otherwise it would be fun to watch them competing with big brands Today 😚
I had Key1 then Key2 and BB Q10. There is nothing like a Blackberry Device. I love it, and was so happy and hopeful that onward mobility might do some justice with the phones, but then lockdown happened. I wish I had the power to start my own smartphone company, and re-do Blackberry.
This was my first Android phone! I bought this in 2018, the full black edition called KeyOne. Have been an iPhone user since 2012, and wanted another extra phone for Jio sim! (remember those days Jio annihilated the market for data). This phone was truly exceptional. Excellent build quality, and amazing call clarity - way better than other phones of the time, even better than iPhone and my spouse’s Samsung Galaxy. Even the noise cancellation was top notch, soon making this my default phone to take office conference calls. Sadly the battery gave way around 2022, and couldn’t find a battery replacement for this one. Still lying in my drawer. Oh that keyboard is something to be experienced. It is mechanical and precise. Once you get a hang of it, you won’t ever get same satisfaction in today’s touchpads. Thank you for the video.
Back in the day, blackberry bold was my dream phone but obviously parents kha allow krte the tab itna mehnga phone lene k liye so i went with samsung chat 322. Bhot bdia typing speed ho gyi thi uspe 😂 I still remember tab 2-3 saal same phone chalana was normal
Mera ghar pe ek tab jinda tha 1 saal pehle Tak...screen crack hogya shi bhi nhi kiya...kr skta hu but waste of money he vo tab 10+ saal purana he shayad se 2012 ya 11 pe launch kuwa tha(Android 4.4😂)Mera father 1.5 mahine pehle Tak 2016 ka phone use kr rha tha samsung ka J12016(5.1)

I still have Blackberry Passport. I only use it for calls. One of the best smartphone ever used. Before Blackberry Passport I had Blackberry Leap. But that suddenly switched off one day and no one was able to repair. Then I got Passport and I still use it as a secondary device.
We were business family and everyone used blackberry then (not 2017, much before) and my brother used to say "If you don't have a blackberry then you dont have a blackberry" , it gave more feel than having 1.5lakh iphone today, "if you know it you know it" especially for 90's and later 90's kids.❤❤❤
I still have this phone till now and I bought it in 2018 and I would say that the performance hasn’t changed even a bit. it works same as brand new when i bought it.❤
Honestly I would buy a phone with physical keyboard. Even if BlackBerry launches a good phone, I would go for it. People are now looking for smaller screens, I think it’ll be a good comeback for the company

Unfortunately their refusal to enter Android market pretty much killed them. Nokia and Blackberry are the biggest examples, they got left behind.

Almost impossible hai comeback for BB. Moto made a comeback bcoz it was being acquired by diff brands, so it survived.
