some parts are re-pop some are original.
Period correct and looks cool.

Awesome build dude so glad to see you went with the blue anodized bear traps a very nice touch! I've always preferred and loved the chrome BMX bikes over the fruity colored bikes that came later on in the late 80s. Mostly all period correct original parts for the win!!

Glad you like it and thanks for the comments. I prefer the funky colours but this had to be done as a nod the the old school vibes. Chrome and blue work so well but the blue is so hard to match with each other. Stay Rad!

Sweet Ride man, that is a very smooth build. Also thank you for showing the grease seriously and putting plenty can never have to much, An most of all the sprocket, cassette so many do not.

Black Tuff IIs and black Tioga CompIIIs look good on every bike. Graphite Tuffs even better. Colored tires and mags NOT necessary. I'm not familiar with Tioga bikes. I got a Hutch Pro Racer in 1984. All Hutch except cranks and pedals. Redline Flights and Suntour Bear Claws. The Hutch cranks and pedals were insanely expensive and the pedals were DANGEROUS. Black Tuffs, 1.75 Tioga gum wall Comp IIIs, MX1000 brakes and Dia-Compe MX lever. The shorty. A lay back seat post and an Elina seat. Black Hutch pads w/ white letters and a Zeronine number plate. That bike was so badass.

Tioga was made by tange. Available as a frame set to build yourself. I went for coloured mags and tyres as it wanders it stand out.
I have got a build coming up with black tuff 2s and black gum walls. Thanks for watching.
