I talked a friend of mine studying Maimonides to read Kirby's comics, and I'm proud of that. Comic Tropes released a video about Kirby's religious influences I've been meaning to watch. Who should play Galactus? The guy who played George Washington in the Hamilton ProShot. Christopher Jackson. He's got the presence and voice for it.

I couldn't agree more with you on silver surfer: parable, being so "topical" to this year with all the horrific rioting and looting happening in the country now, it's extremely reminiscent to what we see in the book, I started reading my copy strait after this video, it's my second favorite Surfer story.
I definitely would love to see ron perlman as galactus for two reason 1.his intimidating build and his voice ,galactus has been portray as having a deep booming voice lacking any emotions or sympathy and i can definitely seeron filling up those boots nicely.p.s this was a fantastic episode.

Sorry I'm Galactose intolerant. Now that my shitty joke is out of the way! Galactus is one of those characters who I think when writing him, one needs to understand his gravitas. The dude is older than our universe, eats planets, and is easily bigger than a skyscraper. Truly an eldritch foe, and should be treated as such. An existential, Darkseid or Anti Monitor, threat, but purely ambivalent to good and evil. Also MCU Galactus, I'd love to have his voice be a choir of different voices meshing together. That or Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) from Brooklyn 99

I've never heard refer to FF Rise of the Silver Surfer as "Fantastic Four 2". I finally understand the name because that's stupid. 😅 And it's still the *only* FF sequel to exist.
This one didn't hit Patreon early. Would have felt a little guilty using all this star-power to line our own pockets... Hang tight though- we've got something good coming in, Patreon exclusive, very soon...
