If you can get your hands on Stubbs the Zombie for the OG Xbox or PC, that's a pretty solid game and would make for a great video I think. It's a fun "play as the monster" type game like this one. Plus it's hilarious.

One of the devs said that they didn't want to remake the original game but rather the game you remember. These guys loved the original and it shows

No its been dumbed down and suffers because of it. The pk powers fucking blow now the anal prob is useless. Npcs usually too spread out to be effective.
@@lindinle I own a original ps2 copy and this remake. The remake is basically exactly the same except it can handle having more enemies on the screen at once. They're basically exactly the same take off your nostalgia glasses

Always loved this game as its sequels! Glad the series is getting the revival it deserves! Also, if you're interested, Stubbs the Zombie is a game for the OG Xbox with a similar premise, just you're playing as a b-movie zombie instead of a b-movie alien!
I always wanted to play the series when it first dropped, I always loved the concept, jump to now, I still love it, and they made i look better!

@@thebladeknight5253 The reason I think it's a perfect remake is that it updates the graphics and gameplay to modern standards while still retaining the charm of the original characters and story. (They didn't change the voice acting at all for example) I may have lower standards for remakes and re-releases because they tend to not be great, this and the Spongebob game being outliers.

Anton Duroj Bidstrup fits the tone of the game and characters better.

There’s a Wii game called Big Willy and another game for PlayStation and Xbox 360 called path of the furon or however it’s spelt.
They’re not considered as good at the first two games but they have their moments
S7Robin A What Happened? on Path of Furon or THQ in general would be good being close to the release of the remake
Pushkin What happened? After DAH2, EA bought (and eventually killed) Pandemic, The series creators. So they couldn’t work on the series for THQ anymore.

Stubbs the Zombie was a similar game for the original Xbox. Different mechanics but similar premise.
Doubt you'll do this og xbox game but it'd be cool to see ya play stubbs the zombie. Basically Destroy all humans except you're a zombie and it's on the halo engine.
There's a weird Capcom game called under the skin thats sort of like this.

Having never played the originals, I have to say I'm impressed with getting Richard Horvitz as an alien, even if it's not the main character. Also, between this, Zim, and Razputin, it's weird how often his characters have a weakness to water.
Play Stubbs the Zombie! Wish that would get remade
Cows do actually kill people if anyone's wondering; around 20 people annually as I recall. Same goes for horses.
Disguises aren't used too often throughout the series. Most of the first game's missions kinda followed a habit of 'stealth around for a bit until you reach the objective, then the game says kill everyone.' Some straight up never asked you for a disguise and let you go wild from the start. The stealth sections were always different enough that it never got too repetitive.
Same for the second game, but I remember disguises mostly being used there for talking to certain NPCs or for specific missions, but not as strict as the first game is.
Never played Big Willy and Path of Furon I don't remember really having much emphasis on stealth at all. Mostly just using it to get heat off your back and not be hounded by enemies, much like second game used it for. By that point, the series was embracing full absurdity, but not always in the good way.
This game is why i still believe "streamlined" = dumbed down.

Was being able to mash the button to do brain extraction faster a thing in any of the original games? Because that's been a godsend in this one
Matt, have you ever played Kung Fu Chaos on the Original Xbox? I remember that game so fondly, but I don't have an OG Xbox to play it on. I plan on getting one at some point for a few other games, but I'm really hoping Kung Fu Chaos holds up as I remember it being one of my favorite games from the time.

You should check out a similar game called Stubbs the Zombie, it was on the original Xbox. its a great lesson in why theres not many games where you play as a zombie, lol! Its very similar to this game in its setting and formula. I remember liking Destroy All Humans but it got repetitive after a while. Maybe its time to give this a shot again

I am not a huge fan of going to the beach, but once in a while, going to the beach with the family is nice. Especially if the beach is not too crowded ⛱

3:05 Emmm... they ported both de blobs to PC & modern consoles 3 years ago. As for Red Faction: PC versions are fine by themselves (plus RF1 has sourceport) and console versions are emulated on PS4/XOne
Again, I meant full remasters or sequels. Not really basic ports. Also weird that only RF Guerrilla got a remake, but not RF 1 and 2.

It's repetitive but not really boring. It's a game of infiltration not conquering. Their is a flow to the series where go in disguise gather information you need and then destroy anything you discover as a threat.
