Stevie Wonder was and continues to be a musical genius. His music transcended race, color, and age. Everyone I knew loved this album when it came out. I remember when "Little Stevie Wonder" at age 13 put out his 1st hit "Fingertips Part II" A lot of modern "music" has stolen from older musicians.
I'm a 61 year old white man, and my generation has been groovin' to Stevie and so much more for a long, long time. Standby dude. I'm going to be sending you some great recommendations. I'm diggin' your reaction videos., so I'm more than glad to share a lifetime of great music with you.
I'm a white guy, and I can hardly believe that you've never heard this song! I'm twice your age, but I've heard this song hundreds of times. You're doing the right thing, though. You're expanding your music knowledge, and you look happy about it.
Some young folks just don't know the Greatness of Ole SKOOL Music. Most of the music, if That's what they call it is straight trash. No live instruments, Auto tune, and no singing chops at all. It's about a look IMHO. VERY FEW CAN SANG AKA JASMINE SULLIVAN AS A EXAMPLE.
This is more or less the reaction I would expect from anyone hearing Stevie Wonder for the first time! If you liked this you’ll LOVE Sir Duke!!! I Wish, Signed Sealed Delivered, For Once In My Life are just a few more I can recommend off the top of my head
Stevie is an absolutely amazing artist. Please check out more of his music. Part-Time Lover, Isn't She Lovely, and I Just Called to Say I Love You are some real gems.
It makes you wonder what this guy's parents listened to for him to not know of/had listened to this song or any of the fine selections that you made...like really ?? ....my 15 year old knows this song.
Loved your reaction. You are about to enter into a big world. You MUST hear: “I Wish”, “Sir Duke”, “I was Made to Love Her”, “Living for the City”... and those are just to start. Seriously, you are about to go for a ride!
Stevie Wonder's music is like air to me. My whole life, his music has made an impact on me. His voice shakes and stirs my soul. Love him. Living legend and musical prodigy.
Not only is Stevie a living legend, Superstition being a Stevie classic, you might also be impressed with the fact that when he's in the studio working on a new project he plays almost ALL!! the instruments himself!!!
Your reaction makes me happy ❤️. I recommend from Stevie the songs I WAS MADE TO LOVE HER, HIGHER GROUND, DON’T YOU WORRY ‘BOUT A THING for starters. Stevie is his own genre and covers ALL kinds of music
You know that tons of musicians have studied this song to learn how to make a banger groove club song. Plus Stevie Wonder plays all the instruments himself when composing and recording. Stevie Wonder is the person Prince was inspired by to play all the instruments on his songs. That's how much of a legend Stevie Wonder is.
Stevie started out when he was about 12....in the beginning....he was "Little Stevie Wonder".....he has been around for almost 60 years now. I don't think the man is capable of writing a bad song.
I raised my children on music! They know music from the 60’s on...and all genres (but Rap and hip hop when it hit). From when they could comprehend, we would play music trivia; who is this, what’s the name of the song. When they were old enough, they could tell you the story behind the band, the songs...And, it kept their interest for the negativity of Rap away because, they were exposed to true, good music.
Have you ever thought, and I'm sure you have that if you didn't start your channel that their would be all this amazing, great music that you would of never hear or knew exisited? Profound.
Rome, hearing you say, "I never listened to this song," I can't contain my JEALOUSY!! I'd give a million dollars to be able to hear this Stevie classic again, for the first time. It's like discovering an amazing new planet.
I truly love your enthusiasm to hearing some Truly Incredible Music by a man that has put his style into the hearts of Millions upon Millions of Fans. This mans Concerts were always well worth the time and money. Lightbulb! Lol
You should see him perform live. He is amazing, and on "Songs in the Key of Life" his masterpiece, he plays all of the instruments on keyboards and synthesizer himself!
A good song to introduce Stevie to you. This is one of the deepest rabbit holes in music. Try "If You Really Loved Me", "As", Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing", "Master Blaster", "Higher Ground", "Overjoyed", "Ribbon In The Sky" his first hit "Fingertips", "Boogie On Reggae Woman" and so many more. Start with the live version of "Fingertips" which was done when he was 13.
Some music is so big, songs are so powerful, singers so outstanding and musicians so talented as part of our lives it’s hard to believe someone has never heard about it much less not heard it. Mercy. From Motown to 70s rock and beyond there is so much that’s just amazing. It brings me joy to watch you open your ears and heart to what is new to you. So at 66, I just say “cool”.
Such an iconic guy. I remember him very well, amazing songs of his. My favourite is 'Isn't she lovely', a really beautiful song, you'll have to listen to it!!
This man makes everything sound FANTASTIC!!!! MMM I 💘 Stevie Wonder. AMAZING. Never go wrong hearing anything from him.. U got me dancing around.. Feel good music

Before your time . Totally understand. I'm 65 now. I was in middle school when this song came old. Shevie Wonder music never gets old. I'm sure you're going to enjoy his music. He is a genius .
He was a phenomenon when I first heard him. He was called "Little Stevie Wonder" and was just a youngster when he became popular. He has the most amazing voice. Try the song "Sir Duke" - one of the happiest songs I've ever heard.
Awesome song from Stevie Wonder ! He had so many great songs and hits. Another one of my favorites is Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Hope you will do a reaction to that one also. Thanks for your videos, you are one of my favorites 😊👍🏻
Other great songs of his are Uptight, I was made to love her, Master blaster to name a few. Just listen to his greatest hits and you will not be disappointed.
I remember when he was Little Stevie Wonder. He was REALLY young, Dick Clark sat him up on a fence, I don’t remember the song but he played his harmonica in it and I don’t know how he kept his balance up there. One of the most talented men ever.
Love the reaction. Try Living for the City, Master Blaster, Signed Sealed Delivered I'm Yours, You are the Sunshine of my Life. There are so many excellent Stevie songs and collaborations.
Stevie composed all of this song. All the instruments. Everything. Calling him incredibly talented is an understatement. My favorite song by him is probably his cover of "for once in my life."
there are sounds, beats, and grooves that no one had ever heard before Stevie Wonder...you grew up in a world where his music existed and influenced the music made by the artists you listened to...imagine what it was like just having this appear on your radio one day...like it was magic...
Love Stevie Wonder! I remember dancing the bump to this song. This song so impressed Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin that it inspired him to write Trampled under Foot. A song you should check out. Other songs by Stevie Wonder and one of my favs is Higher Ground.
Saw Stevie in a concert 1973 - San Diego. Opened for Joe Cocker. He played every instrument on the stage and was on for 3 hours at the request of Mr. Crocker. This man is talented.
You must listen to "I Wish", there isn't a Stevie song that you wouldn't like. He started out as "Little Stevie Wonder", played the _ _ _ _ out of the harmonica, still does of course. You can always tell when others have had Stevie play harmonica on their albums, it's unmistakable that it's Stevie, nobody sounds like him. He plays so many different instruments, he probably couldn't name them all. Some instruments ya never even heard of! He is a talent like no other. I'm an ol' white woman from the 60's and I'm tellin you, young man, you NEED to get more Stevie under your belt, lol! He should be required listening for every young American! I wish I could forget every Stevie Wonder song I ever heard just so I could hear them for the first time anew! Guess watching your joy and enthusiasm will have to do. Blessings to you, good job.
As soon as the funk started you began to strut in your chair, which is exactly the reaction you had with the Bee Gees videos. The funny part is you did it subconsciously, it was the natural reaction. It's the great thing about Disco, the strut is part of the dance, people walked with swag, a smug expression and a confident smile in their faces. Nowadays it looks dorky but back then it was the coolest. It was way before my time but I've always loved the 70s.
I remember walking home from school in 1975 listening to this song on my mono portable transistor radio with one headphone speaker (that's how they made them) - and I felt like the coolest kid in school ! Now I'm 56 and I still love this song.
Stevie Wonder has adjusted to nearly every generation and genre. Very talented soul. I love Ebony and Ivory with Sir Paul McCartney....of the Beatles and Wings

He already did Sir Duke.
Is there a bad Stevie song?
Been listening to Stevie since the 70s. His album "Songs in the Key of Life" is great! Won the Grammy for album of the year in 1977.
Yup he won album of the year in 74, 75 and, 77. The only reason he didn't win in 76 was he didn't release an album that year.
@@andydurazo5337 best award speech ever was 1976. The winner thanked Stevie for not releasing an album
