I aint even an Oklahoma State fan but they are one the most if the not the most consistent team in college football. Almost every single year they finish in the Top 25. LSU alumni and fan here and I’m pretty happy they went based on the last decade. 2019 really solidified it. We always have great defenses but that put our offensive rating wayyyy over the top.
One of the funnest things to do in NCAA is taking a lower tier team and building them into a powerhouse. I'll be playing two seasons with Auburn and probably another team like UTEP.

As a Florida State fan is actually understandable. From 2017 until 2021 Florida state just wasn’t good and if we’re going off of a 10 year ratio FSU not finishing tier 2 just makes sense. If we’re going off of 10 years, Florida State is good and 2014-2016 and they are good and 2022-2024 If Florida State did not completely completely crumbling 2017 I think we could be potentially looking at a tier one program. I think there should be more to classify the tear of a program such as recruiting ranking and bowl performance, but that’s really it

As an Iowa State fan, it is nice to not be on the bottom tier. We used to be a team that would celebrate our rare winning seasons. Now we have actually been fairly consistently solid. That is good to see.
Nebraska was a force to be reckoned with in the 80’s. I wasn’t around for it, but as a Buckeye I will say that was a crazy time to be a Husker. They had a good year last season as well. Let’s see how they do this year, they are one of those teams that seems so close to being an elite team year after year and just lose a lot of games because they make mistakes in the 2nd half. It’s like being a Bengals or a Browns fan. They’ve worked hard year after year and you can’t help but feel for their fans and hope they have some measure of success.

I would think the marketing Gurus would rank teams by the dollars spent by each fan base. They have that info. Performance on the field doesn't guarantee $$$$ spent by fans.
