I’d never even heard of Blythe dolls until you introduced them to me. Now I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and can’t stop watching customising videos. Who knew these little dolls could be so interesting. I’m amazed at anyone who can take the heads apart and change the eye colour etc. I can certainly see why you love them so much. Roll on part 2. ❤
Good to know so much more about Blythe dolls but . . .I see that they can multiply very quickly!! 😅 If you get one, it looks like others will surely follow ❤ And why not, they are iconic and if I had the chance to nab a really early one then she'd be mine in a flash!!! Looking forward to part 2 🎉🎉🎉
Ha Ha, I’m so sorry about that! Well sorry, not Sorry. lol. I don’t want to tempt you more, but I have to say these dolls are bringing me so much Joy. I hope that you enjoy part two when it goes live. x
Thank you so much Lindsey, I really appreciate your comment. I hope to get part two finished and uploaded soon. It was my husbands birthday on the weekend, it’s our eldest son’s tmrw, so its all been a little crazy. I hope that you are well. x
I’ve not measured them yet, but I would say slightly different. I definitely know that the fake arms are slightly longer, as I add extra rows when knitting some blythe patterns. I did promise to measure them and do a blog post in this video.

Oh Rowan, I would absolutely love a 1972’s Blythe. Most of seen look so scraggy and cost loads.
@@ClaireWhoMakesThings they really are! Over £1,000 and I saw a highly customised modern one for £9,000 plus 😆😆😆😆😆
@@rowanhughes8682 I think it’s disgusting charging that much!
@@ClaireWhoMakesThings 🤪 Crazy money!
Very informative Claire and as always you are leading me into temptation! Not only did you get me into Barbies but now I need a Blythe!

Do the fake and tel Blythe have the same body measurements?

Thank you very much!
