How to Easily Beat Tier 1 and 2 of the Galactic Legend Rey Event | SWGOH: Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes

- I have just recently completed all of the attempts of tier 1 and 2 in the Galactic Rey event that rewards shards, and I can now go in and do these tiers for free. Taking the advice of those who came before me I completed all attempts for the most part with barely being hit. In this video I'll show you how I went about my battles. Cheers.

Yeah I was working on Kenobi reqs a little over half way done, that sale dropped and I was like welp I guess I'm working on Rey now.
Getting absolutely railed on tier 2 though, I get an R2 turn, a bb turn, and then they just start laying everybody down.
Yup, its what brought me back to the game after a year and a half

This was a great guide! I was told to use this team, but not how to use the team effectively. This was absolutely fabulous. I was stressing that I would need god mods, but after watching this... I've been getting 3 stars on my Tier 1 with out any serious mod help. Thank you so much for this.

Thx!! Worked like a charm, even with R2 and 3PO 'only' gl12. And I just tested with Scav Rey instead of 3PO, and that also works like a charm if you follow your overall strategy.

This guide was helpful, as are all of your videos I've used. First time I've dropped a battle though, so I would let anyone reading this know to mod R2 at the least for more crit chance. Finn too if you want. I lost because I whiffed on a turn and got zero exposes, and so I didn't get the tm I needed. JTR got smoked soon after. Once I added cc, I never missed an expose after that and I finished fine.

Thanks, this guide was most helpful! I was trying to use the purse brothers (heroes Finn & Poe) in tandem; but replacing Poe with R2 did the trick.

Getting ready to make my run for GL Rey... toons at required relic levels though I will say my R2 is equipped for the JKL event (nice job on those videos too!!!). I was able to farm some energy this morning and attempt tier 1. Normally, I am not very good at these events, having said that, I moved my best mods to the suggested team and used this strategy. This worked perfectly. I got attacked a few times, nothing major. I was able to autorun the last 2 npcs on my first run of the day. Thank you very much. Can’t wait till my reset today to try tier 2.

Finally there myself, just did and won first tier with G11 C3PO and G11 R2. Got one attack on JTR with worse mods than you used. Great strat! Hope tier 2 will be likewise :)

This does work about 66% of the time. 33% of the time the other team goes first and kills 1-3 of your characters before you get a turn.

@@dylarrstwilektactics Twice out of all my attacks on that tier, they killed Fin before I got a turn. Twice more on that tier they had R2 almost almost down on open but I was able to recover. I don't have the best mods so maybe they're just faster (enough) than my team. Either way your strat worked to get me past it when I wasn't able to kill even one of them before with a significantly stronger resistance team. I need more energy before I can do the next tier.
Speeds are important. Its been forever since Iv watched this vid but usually I show my speeds on all characters at the end.

This worked great for me in Tier 1, but in Tier 2 my Rey is getting wiped out after R2 does smoke, my health is lower than yours was, but my protection is higher by the same difference on health. What am I doing wrong?
Id check your speeds because if theyre overrunning you before youve got them all but dead that has to be a contributing factor.
@@dylarrstwilektactics Its for sure my speeds, never found an easy way to increase speed without losing everything else. Time to start mod farming I guess.

Is there someone else to use besides C-3PO? I'm trying to avoid farming him as well
3PO? I’m sure you can get by without, but you’re going to need him for GAS, JKL, and JML
@@dylarrstwilektactics yeah I definitely will pursue him in the future--but currently I have GL Rey's event unlocked, but I can't even manage past the first tier yet. Do you have a suggested replacement for him?

Totally worked like a charm..only added HF zeta and just leadership on JTR...Both tiers. lost JTR on 2 but was able to hold on..Would be easier with her zeta..Thanks again,@@dylarrstwilektactics
I can’t seem to get it this “easy”. Every time I had R2 use smoke screen on JTR she looses foresight…… any reason why?
Theres no game mechanic that removes foresight bye using smokescreen. I cant explain that.
How do i do this if my r2 isnt reliced? Kinda dont want to waste the resources since i rarely use him.
a g11 R2 will work right up to tier 4

I just did T6 with Rey/HFinn/HPoe/JTR/Scav Rey first try, so there you go. T4-6 is doable without the droids

Using this set up on Tier 2 I just wasted 2 attempts. 60 tickets wasted. They kill Rey so easily and the team falls apart. I dont get it. What am I doing wrong? I hate so much that I wasted those tickets. R7 Rey, R7, BB8, R7 R2D2, R5 C3PO, R5 RH Finn. They killed my Rey early on so easily. They do so much dmg. Im confused. Tier 1 was a breeze. Tier 2 is kicking my ass.

Which event is harder? Kylo or Reys? Cause Reys looks kinda brutal
Kylo's for sure. T6 is a nightmare compared to Rey's.
This worked, but was completely ugly for me but I got it on the first try while I died twice using a different team. Lost my Rey my 3po, didn’t change any mods.
Its definitely harder than SLKR's thats for sure.

pipo sahs you can start day one of course. First off you should buy the hyperdrive bundle to bump you up to 85. Then just focus on Resistance and First Order characters. You’ll need to get Bb8 with First order from the journey guide and JTR as well. Farm, gear, farm some more, gear some more.

No they wont. But, if you go into the journey guide and click on JTR and BB8 and then hit the "SHOP" button you'll find all of the packs that will speed up your farm.

The character in the leader spot is just a re-skinned Hux.
Something went wrong. I modded all of my characters exactly as recommended in this video and my JTR Was destroyed by two hits from the other team. Any suggestions?

Im pretty sure you can do it without 3PO, try using HPoe. Keeping your team under smokescreen is the real key.

I done it in the end with rjt bb8 rhf rhp and R2 I used the same tactics you used here works like a charm c3po is not needed that takes a weight off
