too bad that your reviews come one month too late after my purchases :) Just few days ago I added Ultraz gloves to my collection of Assos gloves, as the normal winter gloves were not enough for the current temperatures which we have right now. So I ended up with nearly the same collection - I just don't have summer gloves from Assos.
For me the temperature ranges are bit different though. It also depends on the type of training you plan to do and on type of bike. I use spring fall gloves on road bike down to 8 degrees (for slower rides on MTB), but the most comfortable temperatures are above 10, and if it's windy, then I wouldn't use them below 10. The classic 3/3 winter gloves are totally perfect below 8 degrees - even for road bike. They even are quite usable when it's raining - but not too heavy of a rain of course. I was very comfortable with them also around 0 - but only on MTB with shorter and more intense training. If you plan to go for a long descent were temperatures are below 2 degrees Celsius, then you will definitely feel cold fingers (but throw in couple of short sprints after the descent, and you are good to go again :) ). I was quite surprised what they can do with that thickness - definitely great glove and easily recommendable. But - if you ride often in temperatures below 1 degree, then the Ultraz gloves are the one to get - they are simply perfect, I can be comfortable on 3 hours ride with temperatures below -3 - -4. But then of course, the gloves are not the thing which limits you - the feet are :D

Thanks for your well thought out feedback. It sounds like we are on the same page. You are correct that your feet are definitely a limiting factor on certain days and temperatures. Thanks again 😊

I find it hard to believe u can use those Ultraz at freezing and below temperatures. I found them very thin, and only suited for 5 degrees celcius and up. They are no match for the GripGrab Optimus gloves i got.

I’ve been using them around freezing for awhile without issues. Maybe we have different versions? I’ll have the checkout the GripGrabs though :)

@@MitchOnTwoWheels I've had my fair share of cycling gloves over the years. Mostly autumn/spring models are lighter in weight than the more heavy-duty frost on the ground gloves.
When I unpacked the Ultraz gloves I was surprised right away that their weight was more like that of an autumn glove, than that of a (deep)winter glove. Right away I thought "These are either witchcraft, or totally unsuited for freezing temperatures." Turned out it was the latter.
They feel very flimsy compared to the GripGrab ones, which are my favourites. The Ultraz I now use for temps between 5 and 10 degrees.

Oh wow. I tend to use the Winter Gloves in that range and don’t have issues. Good feedback though for anyone reading this to consider.

The fingerless gloves will make a nice pair espresso sipping gloves.

Are these all touch screen compatible? Also, how do the winter gloves NOT interfere with your watch unless you wear the watch on your forearm instead of wrist...

How does the water resistance compare between the Winter and Ultraz gloves?

      About the same.

In December 2021 I bought the 'Ultraz' ($125!!) and find them totally useless in cold conditions. My first ride with them at -1C. lasted only 5 minutes before I turned back and changed into my $12 working gloves which are a lot warmer than this over marketed and over priced yuppie junk. Recently I tried them again at +5 C. and found them still uncomfortably cold. I have better gloves for warmer conditions and chucked my 'Assos Ultraz' over the fence for my neighbours dog to play with. The only 'Ultraz' here is the price tag. Needless to say I would not touch any 'Assos' product with a barge pole.

That’s a shame. I’ve had great luck with mine down to around -5C. You could have returned them for credit pretty easily if you didn’t like them too.
