So lush and cozy, this is gorgeous! My go to items are probably the mush log, a book or tiny library, a coffee/tea cup, ground cover, stakes, and flowers.
I love the log stools I put them everywhere and half of them are plain and the other half has book/ candles on them (btw I have a naturecore/ campcore island)
i love your videos, i feel like when the game came out i got stuck in the mentality of having to make some elaborate, city-style island that was all over youtube at the time. really refreshing to see a more natural and cozy design approach, inspired me to revamp my entire island!!!
16:25 it’s log stakes and rocking chair! And if I had any Star clocks then these too! My theme is fairy core and the items definitely depends on my theme! If I had a different theme the items would be different
I really love your lake house idea! I had kind of the same intention with forming a big lake in the middle of my island and arranging the villager houses all around it. Your fatal flaw is very amusing by the way, keep it!
lex: what do you use to fill up empty spaces on your island? me, who leaves a lot of empty spaces on purpose: sweats nervously fr tho it depends on location. my forests are full of mush lamps while my beaches are full of wavebreakers. everywhere else gets a garden bench that gets ignored by my villagers 60% of the time
I use white garden lanterns & white streetlamps, mush lamps, country fence, azalea bushes, white flowers and custom designs, and sometimes I place a small table and chairs! My aesthetic is pink/white fairycore/cottagecore edit: I occasionally use garden wagons and log stakes too, just less often
lakehouse screams mom vibes! the house customization is super cute, another really nice build ✨ i like to leave space empty on purpose pretty often but my go-to's when i need some filler are fencing, log/stone stools, and barrels. i like having furniture that i can set other stuff on top of and the stone stools look especially nice on beach rocks (which is great, because i'm terrible at beach decorating)
My go to are statues from reed!! Such a statement piece I love themmm, and I do lots of the garden rocks with trees and the ‘houseplants’ (monstera, cypress plant)
This was great, Lex, thanks! I’ve learned a lot from watching you. I use a lot of the same space fillers plus log stools and mush logs, garden rocks, barrels, wooden buckets, hedge hunks, and flowers flowers flowers.
My fav decorating item is the white/black street lamp and mush lamps but I also love iron garden bench chair table, loving the illuminated furniture as we get closer to winter/snow -I wanted to make a fairy core winter island but I’m not the best at decorating that way I’m trying my best but ik I will always change my island :)
Looks amazing as per usual! You have such a good eye! My go to seem to be mush lamp, mush stump with something on it and benches. Not too creative, but you have helped me fill in my empty spaces 🥰 Thank you! Have a great weekend Peaches! You too Lex!
My island is based off of an indie video game, so my aesthetic/color palette comes from that. I use a lot of orange windflowers, green mums, purple and blue hyacinths, trees (the game's landscape is mostly forest) and rocks of all kinds. I use a lot of dark wood, some mush stuff, some cherry blossom stuff...I'm pretty happy with it so far :)
recently, ive decorated paths with house plants, log stakes, and bug figurines. i have a fairy/cottage core island. its not my first island so its my first time trying out the style. i love it!
I absolutely adore the way you decorate, the fact that you fill every inches of grass with something is so pretty ! (btw my go-to items are country fences, flowers, bushes and trees)
I've been following along a lot of your Lost Falls builds, and this one is by far my favorite! The curving pathway to the house is stunning and the views you create are amazing. I've found it difficult to build areas that connect well (hence my island being based on a scroller video game lol), so watching how your island is coming together has been really inspiring. Thank you for posting all your builds and I can't wait to visit your Dream Address!
Watching your videos gives me lots of idea how to make a proper natural water part of the island 😁 also the circle path adds my island a Lex vibes too lol and I'm lovin' it ❤ I hope soon when I'm finish with my island and got my DA updated, I hope I got picked to your DA visiting and that would be awesome and fluttering 😍 keep doin this Lovelots Hun! ❤☘🌼
When decorating small spaces, I love placing down flimsy watering cans near flowers because it looks so cute and works with every theme 🥰 also, turning doghouses around makes them look like tiny houses, which is also really cute 😊
Hi! I’m currently redoing my entire island and my go-to items, (other than cedar trees because I love them so much), are mush stools, piles of leaves, mush lamps and a fence I can’t remember the name of. 😂 I LOVE the mushroom items so much. They make me miss fall because I bet I’m going to run out of mushrooms before I finish my island! I also miss fall because of the red trees. Anyway, this comment has gotten away from me. 😆 I love your videos so much; thank you for sharing. One last thing: The day you uploaded this I was also moving and decorating my house area and I put mine by my lake too! 😄
It's so interesting and beautiful to see what ur doing with ur island as I started out with the same layout. Just seeing how you terraform and decorate each part it so different yet nice to watch. You really encouraged me to terraform more and disregard the natural shape my island had in the beginning as i really found it hard to make it work. Great videos and extremely beautiful island! I love it
The new kids tens with some zen/normal cushions in front of the tents on some deck custom designs with a lifeguard chair looked like one of those high end beaches. Add some stalls with drink/shaved ice maker and you got some resort/upscale vibes You could then do a lower scale with the folding beach chairs grills and toys. Also just learned that plucked cosmos flowers look amazing for beach grass
i find i have a mix of mostly garden lamps, street lamps, and paper lanterns. i love mixing those lights along with different kinds of fencing. i knew when i started that i wouldn't be able to stick to one single theme, so mixing was the best option for me :')
After seeing this I am totally in love with it, and I want it too but that means I gotta demolish a good quater of my island and that's just so much work that i'm like.... *crying sounds*
I don’t really have a go to item 🤣🤣 But I guess it would be the street lamp. Idk its very pretty and I love how it gives my island more light. Also awesome video! Your video always inspire me to keep decorating my island
my go to is any of the garden rocks but also just pinecones, mushrooms and shells just plopped on the ground, sometimes on top of a custom design but i also clutter the heck out of my island with those things and i’m trying to leave more tasteful empty space lol
For decorating I use grade wagons in white star clocks turned around moon chairs a lot nova light s baby bears garden bench , irorn garden bench my island is fairy core so yeah
"It's my fatal flaw...it's a problem" 😂 I absolutely love your videos, your island is so gorgeous and I can't wait to dream tour it when its all finished 🥰
Hiiiii I am getting animal crossing new horizen for my birthday and watching you build and do many other things helps me learn a bit more about how the game works. Lol ty!
I'm going for a spooky jungle like indiana jones vibe so I love to use lots of bamboo, palm and cedar trees and I like to use black flowers, cacao and fan trees, mush lamps and mush partitions, all the stone DIYs, tiki torches, the skull radio with KK Safari playing, and fossils
I’m rewatching your videos for comfort and this one inspires me to try using simple panels to block this straight edge of cliffs that I really hate on my island. I cannot terraform them because they’re connecting a bridge but the straight line of cliffs just constantly bothers me.
Filling up space? Water, flowers, bushes and broken fencing. Ngl best lake build I've seen, not to big and still very scenic, do you mind if I use it for inspiration?
omg that curved pathway around the lake is so stunning and unique
thank you 😭
Yup
@@LexPlayy do you have a link for your custom designs? I love them 🥺
I’m trying to do that now, and it’s so hard!!! 😩😩😩
@@beccajade8497 it’s in the disc of the video!^^
My go to is THE MUSH LAMP 100% it lights up the place and comes in a variety of colours and fits my cottagecore/fairycore
Every area I decorate seems to involve a mush lamp, a garden lantern, some type of garden stone -normal/tall/flat, monstera, and log stakes.
I just put trees and paths everywhere and see if it works. And some benches and street lamps. And just random stuff from the catalog.
Ikr!
I still don’t know what to do with my island😙... even though I passed the stars am on 4 stars and still don’t know what to do with my island.
@@Prince-ct8zf SAMEEEEE I NEED IDEASSS
@@ines8012 we both work the same in animal crossing 😭👉👈
Can you stop being so good at designing islands, it's taking toll on my wellbeing.
😂😂
This build screams mom
Like all moms dreams are to have a lake house
Love your island!
😂😅 I mean, not ALL moms! Maybe an old school traditional 80’s mom. But as a mom myself indefinitely aspire to more of modern style of “mom” 😅😂
Hey, nothing wrong with the 80’s. Besides the killer bee’s.
So lush and cozy, this is gorgeous! My go to items are probably the mush log, a book or tiny library, a coffee/tea cup, ground cover, stakes, and flowers.
This is absolutely amazing, loving the outside of your house. It fits so well with the theme of your island and this lake position is just stunning.
Ughhh the circle pathway from the map view looks sooo good
I love the log stools I put them everywhere and half of them are plain and the other half has book/ candles on them (btw I have a naturecore/ campcore island)

Can we appreciate that lex always engages with her villagers in her videos!! 💖
garden lanterns, garden wagons, bushes, flowers, log stakes and seating areas are my go to, i have way too many log benches all over my island 😶
I am obsessed with mush lamps, garden wagons, cherry blossom items and baby bears. the theme of my island is fairycore, pastel and kawaii
I really love your lake house idea! I had kind of the same intention with forming a big lake in the middle of my island and arranging the villager houses all around it.
Your fatal flaw is very amusing by the way, keep it!

me, who leaves a lot of empty spaces on purpose: sweats nervously

my go-to is always fencing and probably anything that glows. I love the lights in this game!
I love the mush lamps, butterfly statues and hyacinth lamps, fits my fairy vibe. Flowers and paths are also nice :)
Looks amazing as per usual! You have such a good eye! My go to seem to be mush lamp, mush stump with something on it and benches. Not too creative, but you have helped me fill in my empty spaces 🥰 Thank you! Have a great weekend Peaches! You too Lex!
My island is covered in wooden stools and stacks of books cause I like how warm and cozy they can make an area seem
Same... but can develop PLEASE let us place rugs outside. Wooden stools books tiny libraries and actual rugs?!?! ....heaven
My island is based off of an indie video game, so my aesthetic/color palette comes from that. I use a lot of orange windflowers, green mums, purple and blue hyacinths, trees (the game's landscape is mostly forest) and rocks of all kinds. potted plants and mushroom stools.. everywhere..usually with a butterfly model on the stool
My go to is the flower garden wagon thing 🥰
I’m going for a more nature-y woodsy vibe so I love using log stools with lanterns on them lol
im so happy you used some green mums!! they're my favorite flower
recently, ive decorated paths with house plants, log stakes, and bug figurines. i have a fairy/cottage core island. its not my first island so its my first time trying out the style. i love it!
Ive never played before but your videos make me want to! Very aesthetically pleasing.
Not only is this area vibing, but so is the music! Love it!!!
My go to furniture pieces are white mush lamps & white star clocks. I have a cottagecore w some fairycore type of theme ☺️
I absolutely adore the way you decorate, the fact that you fill every inches of grass with something is so pretty ! (btw my go-to items are country fences, flowers, bushes and trees)

I like to plant pumpkins around, also flowers and trees. I use a lot of potted plants too.
i love how with each video you sound happier, i adore your videos and its been my only motivation to actually do something with my island
I just want to take a moment and say how amazing lex is. I love her videos!

I really do love how you decorate! I use it as motivation for my own island! We have very similar styles and I love how naturey your island is!!
I am obsessed with the barrels and the mushroom furnitures.. cottagecore for now
When decorating small spaces, I love placing down flimsy watering cans near flowers because it looks so cute and works with every theme 🥰
also, turning doghouses around makes them look like tiny houses, which is also really cute 😊
Your island is my dream island!! So creative and cute ❤
i love using fossils to decorate empty areas, especially larger ones. i used the megalo and it ended up being the centerpiece for a graveyard :-)

thank you so much, I'm so glad you're enjoying my builds 🥺💙
My go-to space filler is definitely a street lamp. I was blessed to get black ones and my island is dark academia-y so it fits perfectly
For the beach it's nice to use beach towels and a book next to it and some coconut juice , beach hotels , tiki bar ,
I do cliffs and waterfalls lots of flowers and scrubs and lamps and pathing ! I’m still fairly new but My island is coming along well ❤️
The new kids tens with some zen/normal cushions in front of the tents on some deck custom designs with a lifeguard chair looked like one of those high end beaches. Add some stalls with drink/shaved ice maker and you got some resort/upscale vibes

Also just learned that plucked cosmos flowers look amazing for beach grass
The best AC TH-camr back at it again
This reminded me of the time in year 6 on a trip in a forest and there was a house next to a big lake :)
I'm late, but my go-to for empty non-village areas is weeds, stumps, clover and flower designs, and flowers. I also drop mushrooms for an unkempt look
i agree, the choice of house customization is super cute, will you add a wreath/door plate? which one?
you should put a garden wagon on that beach path!! I LOVE this build :)
Omg this is beautiful and watch these videos and say you guys are so talented
Wow! Just WOW! Great job, love this! Thanks 🤗👍
I always love to use the log stakes and and the country fencing!
My go tos are mushroom items and nova lights to fill empty space. I have a very fall vibe island so it works out really well :)
Would you suggest for a beginner to put all your houses on the beach so when your ready to find the layout then move them?
I love this!!!! So beautiful. Thank you again for mentioning me, love being a member. I really struggle with decorating 🙁
we NEED the dream code! Your island is amazing 🥰
Poppy is the best squirrel
Lex you have me decorating like you...literally every space on Juniper is filled with something 👀🌲🤣
i find i have a mix of mostly garden lamps, street lamps, and paper lanterns. i love mixing those lights along with different kinds of fencing. i knew when i started that i wouldn't be able to stick to one single theme, so mixing was the best option for me :')

I usually decorate empty areas with books, small picnic places and little lakes with a fishing thingy on the side
my go to is any of the garden rocks but also just pinecones, mushrooms and shells just plopped on the ground, sometimes on top of a custom design but i also clutter the heck out of my island with those things and i’m trying to leave more tasteful empty space lol
This is my favorite video watched it about 4 or more times id love to recreate this on my island xx
I love how I charge my device to see your videos!!!
Thinking about doing this with my hotel.... Love having a lake.
Really love this build. So adorable!
I fill it with flowers! ❤ I have spring core island so… it’s allowed
Oh god you are so inspiring and perfect as always 😭 wish i had just one half of your creativity! Love everything you do ❤️
I love your island, it’s so cozy!
My main decorations are log stakes, country fencing, hedges, garden lanterns, cacao trees, brick wells, garden benches and wild log benches
I love your videos you inspire me so much!💗 Your Island is just gorgeous 💚
I didn’t realize this was you when I saved it on Instagram earlier 😭🤷🏻♀️❤️
im a huge fan of using mush lamps and cherry blossom piles :D
For decorating I use grade wagons in white star clocks turned around moon chairs a lot nova light s baby bears garden bench , irorn garden bench my island is fairy core so yeah
Lovely design as always! Also what is the name of the music playing around 13:30? I'm dying to know, it's driving me crazy!
"It's my fatal flaw...it's a problem" 😂 I absolutely love your videos, your island is so gorgeous and I can't wait to dream tour it when its all finished 🥰

i have a more springcore island, so i usually put little reading nooks with ponds or picnic areas
The intro at x2 speed is so funny! Loved the build!,!!!,!!
Good video. Being from Oregon, this made me really happy

Everytime I decorate i feel like im trialing waterfalls, boarding them up, adding a bunch of hardwood trees and flowers til it looks half decent
right now I literally have a beach full of flowers for like no reason.
Omg I love this!!!! 😍😍 im so inspired right now lol but idk how im going to do this 😭
Love the look of this! And not just because I’m an old mom 😂 My own island is a bit... odd... and not mom like at all.
Lex please this is amazing and i don't have enough space 👁💧👄💧👁 to incorporate it
i lost my shit when you shoved CJ out the way i can just TELL you were absolutely over his bs omg LMAOOO
My empty areas normally end up harboring a lot of barrels and boxes, I like a cluttered storage look for small forgotten spaces
Filling up space? Water, flowers, bushes and broken fencing.
Ngl best lake build I've seen, not to big and still very scenic, do you mind if I use it for inspiration?
