The Little Mermaid is my personal favorite, but once you get into your top 20 here I think they're all so good in their own ways that ranking them is pretty subjective. Fantasia as #1 is totally legit - it is a timeless masterpiece.

How were you able to do this? I find it superdifficult to rank things. Did you deconstruct the movies into different aspects like characters, art, story, music, etc.? I am sometimes unsure of how much one is allowed to have a subjective standpoint in such things...I mean...Is it fine to simply have great memories of watching a movie and letting fondness make it stand over another movie? Ah, so difficult.

Great video, I was hoping you would do a full ranking at some point. I've been wanting to do one myself, but have never got around to it. I decided to do mine as I went along watching yours. It is interesting to see both the similarities and differences. I only start to enter 'dislike' territory once hitting No. 53, so that's not bad going on Disney's part. I'd say up to No. 29 I'd really miss them if they disappeared from existence. In between, I enjoy them, but wouldn't be too bothered if I never saw them again.

Re-watching all of these movies now, I must say I no longer consider even a single one of them enjoyable. I can of course still appreciate the wonderful animation and the music.
Do not rank Wreck-it Ralph 2 higher than the first one. The sequel contradicts the first one: Vanellope not fulfilling her promise to guide Sugar Rush, adding code so they can jump to other games and die on them. I am more of a gamer I connected more with the first one

Beauty and the Beats is near top where it usually is. Not always are the same films on top, in addition of that and Fantasia, Lion King and Pinocchio are also frequently on top in these types of lists.
Does the Disney Animated Canon count as one franchise made up of smaller subfranchises like the MCU? If so, then the Disney Animated Canon is the longest-running film franchise, running from 1937 and still going strong, while the second longest-running one is Godzilla, which started in 1954, 17 years after Snow White, though Gojira is still going strong. And if the French canon (known as The Grand Classics, which includes The Wild, most DisneyToon DTV films, a few live action hybrids, and the Pixar films) is taken into consideration, then it has 127 films, making it the film franchise with most films, even more than Wong Fei Hung, which had 80 official (hard to determine because he is a public domain historical figure in China) films from 1949 to 1993 (and even Godzilla lasted longer than Wong Fei Hung). I bet the Disney Animated Canon is also the highest-grossing franchise of all time, even more so than Disney’s own Marvel Cinematic Universe. I consider the Disney Grand Classics canon as the one and I consider it a franchise just so Godzilla, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Wong Fei Hung would all be dwarfed by the absolute titan that is the Disney Animated Canon.
Interesting ranking, of course everyone has different opinions, but had to laugh when he said 'bolt' has an original premise, it's the same as toy story which released years before it 👀 10:36

I'm outraged that raya and the last dragon was number#27, how can anyone who has watched it say that raya is that low raya is a Disney classic and I'm sure people would agree it deserves to be in the top 10 if not number#1 but I'm not complaining to Dave Lee, the video was his opinion and this is mine, thank you!!!
“Outraged” over my own personal opinion is a bit excessive. I love pretty much every single movie on this list (except a few on the bottom). Putting it at #27 is not “putting it low”. It just simply means there are 26 other CLASSICS that I personally like more than it.
Kinda on par with Atlantis or Treasure Planet. But the 2D animation and the steampunk and retro sci-fi elements of the two older movies makes them a little more appealing to me.
I just can't get into The Lion King anymore... I think Disney ripped off Osamu Tezuka's Jungle Emperor. They are far too similar for it to be a coincidence. I wish they would just admit it.
Might be one of the weirdest disney fans but other than the package films, my brain needs a semicoherent plot through a whole movie to enjoy it (yes despite accepting the first is a masterpiece I can't even enjoy the fantasia films one bit) the only disneys that just don't connect with me are The Sword in the Stone and Fox and the Hound, just find em boring and I even gave up through sword in the stone. Yes I even like Home on the Range and Chicken Little. Snow White is probably my least favourite of the ones I actually like but only just.
2:48 - 3:08* (*remembers having often considered what I had believed to had been a certain movie named "The Sword in the Stone" featured between these points of the video to had been a favorite of mine of its kind among what I had believed to had been other movies of that kind featured in the video (and the one I would consider to had been my most liked favorite of that kind))

The Little Mermaid is my personal favorite, but once you get into your top 20 here I think they're all so good in their own ways that ranking them is pretty subjective. Fantasia as #1 is totally legit - it is a timeless masterpiece.
It was always subjective. There’s no such thing as an objective opinion.
I say in my opinion, Fantasia deserves to be number 1.
I haven't seen Raya and the last dragon yet but my favourite Disney film of all time is the lion king 🦁👑🦁👑🦁👑

I split it into categories
1. Characters
2. Music
3. Pacing
4. Animation Quality
5. Magic

This video is basically the exact same as the other 58 feature film disney ranking, just with Raya and The last dragon added on.

Yo Dave! Where do you rank the Live action/Animated 3 which is
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)
Mary Poppins (1964)
Song of the South (1946)
Interesting rankings. Most lists like this usually have Beauty and the Beast at #1.
Beauty and the Beats is near top where it usually is. Not always are the same films on top, in addition of that and Fantasia, Lion King and Pinocchio are also frequently on top in these types of lists.
Hey Dave, who's the character in the cartoon evolution on March?
Yes
Interesting ranking, of course everyone has different opinions, but had to laugh when he said 'bolt' has an original premise, it's the same as toy story which released years before it 👀 10:36

It's coming next month.
I'm still figuring out where to put that movie in my top favorite disney movies 😑
“Outraged” over my own personal opinion is a bit excessive. I love pretty much every single movie on this list (except a few on the bottom). Putting it at #27 is not “putting it low”. It just simply means there are 26 other CLASSICS that I personally like more than it.
I heard that Raya and the last dragon was just alright.
I feel it generic
Kinda on par with Atlantis or Treasure Planet. But the 2D animation and the steampunk and retro sci-fi elements of the two older movies makes them a little more appealing to me.

Here’s the section of the video I most disagree with: 0:53-20:24
I just can't get into The Lion King anymore... I think Disney ripped off Osamu Tezuka's Jungle Emperor. They are far too similar for it to be a coincidence. I wish they would just admit it.
Mulan is my favourite.
DID YOU REMEBER TO WATCH OLD YELLER AND Savage sam TOO THEY OUR BOTH DISNEY MOVIE CLASSIC
Elsa Ariel simba Nala mulan Alice Anna Cinderella Jasmine rapunzel and show white Pocahontas Aurora

I’m sorry but the jungle book is NOT a lightning in a bottle film. And it is NOT better then Wreck-It Ralph, neither is Ralph breaks the Internet.
@Tyrin Weldon Saying The Jungle Book is a perfect film is not his opinion. And it is not even that great because it gets boring at times and drags a lot. A movie like Wreck-it Ralph has more heart and originality.
How dare you, Dinosaur is one of the greatest Disney movies I have ever seen you monster
You sound familiar 🤔

Strange ranking 😅
Where is brave
Brave is a PIXAR movie NOT a Walt Disney Animation movie.
Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph, and Ralph Breaks The Internet are my favorite movies 😊👍

Not entirely. It's an updated version of a previous video!
Did you miss out frozen 2?? It’s classed as a Disney classic
Sword and the stone at 53 that's crazy 🤪
