This may be a strange compliment, but it’s true: your sense of humo(u)r is very welcome. When some asmrtists try to be funny, it just comes off as creepy; your moments of levity come off wholesome, like the audience is in on the joke. It’s very appreciated. 😀
Also, if it’s any consolation, I’m a little bit older, and grew up in Motown itself (Detroit) - the Temptations were on constant rotation in my house!

Hey Lucie, no , that’s not an inappropriate thing to say at all. I lost my dad around 20 years ago, and I found that so many people and places reminded me of him; I saw him everywhere. That’s how grief works and it’s totally ok. This won’t help you at all right now, but time rubs the rawness from your loss; be sure to give yourself time, and remember to look after yourself. I was listening to a /really/ quiet ASMR video before this, so had the headphones at full volume, and then it changed this video. Tom's deep "HELLO THERE" being so much louder made me jump out of my skin. 😂
Haha, that’s the problem with YT! My biggest gripe is that they don’t tailor the ads to asmr videos, so you’ll be nice and relaxed and then get a screaming ad for Fast And Furious 23 or something 😆😆😆
