I loved the film "Maestro". The clothing, the cinematography, the cars, the locations, the details, the actors, everything. I thought film was beautifully shot.
I have been in the Dakota many times it's magnificent. You better be very rich to even get through the door. I'm not rich but I had an invitation. Beautiful building. Although I don't like that dreary Victorian look it can be kept and yet made beautiful. You cannot believe the fireplaces. The doors the woodwork just unbelievable
I love the apartment! It would be awesome to be able to live in this iconic building! I'm sure the notorious real estate developer would have loved to get his hands on it and molest the bejeezus out of it with gold plated toilets etc....
Liked the video and family photos. Delighted to see my P&K Laverne coffee table at 8:44, "La Fleur" gallery label on underside from Philip Laverne Gallery, NYC. 1st Dibs price 14K, made my day, didn't know I bought a golden investment thirty years ago.
There were numerous photos in the video were not the interior of the Dakota...that was not a really good idea. I've been inside the Dakota a number of times and the craftsmanship when it was built is fantastic. Thankfully Mr Bernstein didn't turn his apartment into a bright white color with ultra uncomfortable furniture.

A completely extraordinary apartment!

Enjoyed! I have been inside the Dakota. One thing worth mentioning and not shown are the massive oak doors to each apt as well as the grand hallways.
For great looks watch Rosemary 's Baby, filmed inside The Dakota.
Wonderful !
Glad you like it!
I saw the movie & it was outstanding ❤
Well Done!

Where the film "Rosemary's Baby" was filmed. Rosemary's apartment residence.
No! Filming was at the Osborne!😊
He had 2 apartments!
Towards the end I couldn't tell which were pictures of the movie sets and which were the actual apartment.
Well La Di Da...it is nice to be comfortable.

Lennie is sitting at a Baldwin piano, not a Steinway. Life is not perfect.
Baldwin made perfect pianos with better tone qualities.
@@diane8937 So what happened to Baldwin?

Creatively Bohemian... whatever.
I was invited but only because of my wealth. I declined, but only because of my wealth. I missed nothing, but only because of my wealth.
My two cents worth . . Dark wood and then brown furniture not so good. And so much clutter
Better than the sterile gray walls and farmhouse trend that's taken over.
