    Next video explain why Diesel is now more expensive than Gasoline.

    • @josephpaoloestabillo3677
      @josephpaoloestabillo3677 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Diesel is more expensive in other countries, it's just that we became so accustomed to diesel being subsidized here. But diesel is now more expensive than gasoline in the Philippines because of several factors:
      1. Increased demand
      2. The switch to cleaner diesel has made refining more costly
      3. Higher taxes
      4. Demand dictated by seasons

    • @yajson
      @yajson ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@josephpaoloestabillo3677 Your #2 is probably one of the reason, but your #1 all petroleum products is all in high demand, #3 when taxes hit it hits all petroleum products and not just Diesel, #4 prizes has been up for like almost a year now so Season can't be blame for it. As well war in Ukraine and sanctions in Russia, like all petroleum products is affected but why is Diesel prices is on the roof.

    • @josephpaoloestabillo3677
      @josephpaoloestabillo3677 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yajson Diesel has more applications than gasoline. It is not just used in land transport but also in manufacturing, construction, mining, shipping, and military uses.
      Re season, that happens every year. One barrel of crude oil can produce either gasoline, diesel, kerosene, or heating oil. Refiners usually prioritize gasoline for mobility as opposed to diesel that has commercial uses, which means that a shortage in diesel supplies drives up prices. When winter months arrive, diesel is at an even lower priority since the demand is higher for home heating oil.

    How about mixing a higher or lower octane rated gasoline that is not specified in the owner's manual?
    Like when your tank is almost empty and the gasoline you are buying is not available? What can the motorist do?

    • @josephpaoloestabillo3677
      @josephpaoloestabillo3677 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No problem, as long as they're both gasoline. You won't need to drain the tank, just use up the mixture until your next fuel stop, and be more conscious about the type of fuel your engine requires next time.

    • @thewisdomvalleser
      @thewisdomvalleser ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok lang kung rated for lower octane ang makina. It can take either regular (91) or premium (95) so no problem kahit maghalo sa gas tank. Pero kung rated for higher octane (95) ang makina mo tapos nilagyan ng regular (91) then you will have problems.

    • @jodylopez2976
      @jodylopez2976 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thewisdomvalleser What happened was the car was filled with UNLEADED (91) OCTANE but the car required PREMIUM (95) OCTANE. Power was significantly less until the mixed fuel was consumed and replaced with (95) Octane at every fill-up. Only then did the engine power recover.

    Bakit po walang E85 na gasolina dito po sa Pinas?

    • @josephpaoloestabillo3677
      @josephpaoloestabillo3677 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because not all engines can tolerate E85 in stock form, unless we all drive Flex-Fuel vehicles. You would need to retune a standard gasoline engine so that it runs on E85.
      Also, ethanol has a lower energy content, which means the higher the ethanol blend, the lower the mileage. The main benefit of using E85 is its effect on emissions.

    Iba sa experience ko. hinde parehas ang takbo nang minimum sa premium gasoline saka magkakaiba din sa brand. iba ang response nang premium sa brand na gusto ko kesa sa mga unleaded lang parang maalabsaw pag tinapakan mo unlike sa premium iba yung aggressive nang senilyador. 10 years driving almost everyday with the same vehicle magkakaiba talaga.
