When your boots start to need some servicing, you can send them in to have them resoled or completely rebuilt! Nicks Handmade Boots are serviceable and last years longer than a mass-produced boot. Since 1964, Nicks has been making the highest quality boots on the market, right here in Spokane Washington. If you're tired of your old work boots wearing out, upgrade to Nicks and enjoy the most comfortable boots on the market.

You can tell it's tough because no matter how hard he hit it, it didn't cry.
My boots cry alot. I had to send them to therapy and get them on an antidepressant prescription.
So how tough are you?

You want quality American made products that support American families or the cheap chinese garbage that supports a communist regime that's continually trying to destroy America?
@@noahharding2488 I glad you're proud of quality made American made products 👌. I simply mention the price and you attack me and go into a tangent about Chinese Communist garbage. I'd love to have a pair of boots like this but I can't afford them. I was answering a question most of us were wanting to know. 'What do these boots cost?'
@BBviewer86 I think it's fine either way, but made in the USA stuff tends to be costly for some reason, and it's often up to the viewpoint to decide whether that reason is a good one. I believe that in this case, it's because these boots will last proportionately to how much they cost by comparison, definitely a good one or two time buy for most of your entire life imo.
@@EnglandRemovalits because businesses here cant use child or slave labor.
and they'll last at least 5 years of abuse and neglect with only resoling at a local cobbler, that's $100 to $150 a year, my old Bates boots lasted a year before the tread was gone and they needed replacing and they're about the same cost per year, but the nicks ones can last longer if looked after (oiled and cleaned properly) so it's at worst the same cost for less headache, at best cheaper in the long term
It’ll take 3 years of construction to break in them boots 😂😂😂
@@TheGhostOfSparta.It'll ruin your feet. Breaking in is necessary, a few weeks of blisters should be enough anything more and you'll cripple yourself
Can’t stop watching these shorts. Reminds me so much of my grandfathers shop. Watching him resole, repair and build shoes and boots
Love mine. Worth every penny. As a contractor I’m hard on boots. These outlast everything else combined.

@@kingschmoopy6583 definitely not retard. You can’t afford them. Keep buying your Walmart boots there kiddo.
@@kingschmoopy6583definitely. There's a material limit to leather, these are luxury boots. Fantastic craftsmanship but ain't no way you'd let them near a jobsite. They'll be destroyed just as quick as the cheap leather boots when exposed to lime and workplace accidents

The best work boots I ever owned were sold by Sears. Their Die Hard boots were not too expensive and they lasted a long time. And I worked in heavy construction for 30 years.
Yup, and they came in wide sizes off the shelf. Great boots.
Back in the 70's-80's?
За качество надо платить а у нас хотят мерседес по цене жигулей😂
What are you using to pressure the leather straps over the last. it's the most efficient I've seen. early cobbler of 7 years experience
Foot pedal raises the boot mold and the strap is being held stationary
My feet stopped hurting while watching this.
Finally some American made shit that is going to last
Would have been nice to see you shape the heel and stack
They have long format videos of the entire process of making a boot.
I don't recommend watching them as by the time the video ends your wallet will be $600 lighter.
Gonna be a real feat to break those in. That leather looks like it could stop a crossbow bolt.
Lets you and me try it out
Just amazing, art combined with durability, that's what I always look for in boots.
Art, lol 😂🤣😭

Craftsmanship, even the very best craftsmanship, which has been my ideal all of my career, is still not art. Artisanry is still not art. Art is art. All three deserve respect as the highest of achievements, in my book.
@@leehaelters6182the worst are drywall finishers that call themselves artists and artisans. I'd tell them that we are at the very best, tradesman. Drove me nuts. Plasterers are artisans.
Had left leg amputated Christmas morning last year, do I get a tight foot boot by itself on discount or have to buy a pair. 😆. Can I get Teo right foot boots? Can't use a prosthetic leg due to other issues but wore Redwing loggers my entire life and love the look of your boots. Not begging just laughing , but did loose leg last year honestly.
Looks real comfortable
Why does the rubber sole look 2 sizes smaller?
Because they sand the edges of the leather down to a logger style heel where it curves inward
That's what I was thinking
Always wondered if you wore the soles out would they pierce the foot bed?
Always loved stacked leather heels. Hate wearing them though. I’m a Wedge soles kind of guy.
I love the finished product
Shoe cobbler a lost art
Would you be able to make a pair of Marine Corps RAT boots? Obviously much sturdier than the ones they used to issue?

Oh yeah i know the feeling too !
I love the dull thud when they hit the pins in.
I could never understand the stitches over the rubber outsole. Wont that wear off immediately as its not stitched in groves but over the lugs that meet the road surface ditectly

This is the British Tan CXL leather. Happy to hear you are loving the boots!
Fireman:jump, jump you are only on the 2nd floor.
Me:not with these shoes
This goes for all bootmakers out there. I don’t know what is up with the arch you put in boots but it’s got to stop. I have gone and even bought a nice timberlands and they’ve got this weird arch that just causes you ridiculous pain.
So im not alone😧
Only close to comfortable boots ive worn was these redwings with a raw looking leather. I dont know the model but sure did the job.
Same here. Def ;ot alone. Either of yas. And get this believe me or not. Idc cause its true. But I wanted to try steel toe shoes instead of boots but didn't wanna spend alot and hate them. I was going threw a pair of red wings every 6 months or so give or take. We were st wal mart and I seen steel toe shoes 29.88 I said screw it. Bought them. They were more comfortable and lasted longer then my $180 pair of red wings. So now I got buy they shoes 2 pairs at a time. They went up $5 since last year but no big deal. I know there not for everyone and where I work I didn't really need a boot anymore. Maybe someone read this and help them.out also and save some.moneh idk.
Мы в армии новые каблуки к кирзачам тоже гвоздями на 30 прибивали.
Not sure what brand of boot it is but the vibram sole can't be beat!!
They are Nicks. Best boots on the planet. I have an insulated and uninsulated pair. Amazing.

I would like glue between outsole & the heel and make it rough for better grip not just nails
If these are anything like Wesco boots I'll pass. $500 boots and I'm just gonna throw them away
Why's the leather heal block nailed down dry with no glue. Reinforcement glue is always better.
Looks tough, but I think my Teflon lined titanium toed extreme crush resistant boot will take a bit more of a beating. But frankly they are also $2500.
Italian sole: the best!
Yep

climbing boots for those in the tree industry. once broke in are comfortable, and do last. they take a beating. heavy, but made for a man.
Should be screws not nails
why the rubber heel is so damn small it does not look goot at all
These are ligging Boots Dude
This isn’t finished. They sand the heel and the leather curves inward
I mean that's definitely a nice lookin boot
This video calms me down.
I wish I could afford a pair of these. They look very well made.
I don't honestly think they would outlast a pair of American made Danners, in an industrial environment. For twice the price anyway. I can still wear them after 2 years, but they're caked and saturated with grease and oil. I usually put in about 3000 hours a year too.
Let me get a pair in size 11 to go please. Lord knows I need them🤣
Those high heels look uncomfortable
I just don't think it's gonna last longer than Ariat or Timberland but it's double or more in cost. But it does look like a great boot. I guess I'm probably cheap but I'm ok with that
Timberlands doesnt last very long
Timbs and Ariat are very bad quality and made in third world countries. Good luck getting 2 years out of those even if you’re not working in them. The only way these wouldn’t last at least twice as long as either of those is if you went for a hike thru some lava :)
Why don't you guys get the right size heel?
That is the right size heel, they are sanded down to the customers preference of heel profile.
@@nicksboots Oh
Where and how do I get a pair and try on???
Question, how bad is it if you get that glue on your hand
I love them boot but you have too take them off at the door they track all the dirt in the house but it’s a good comfortable boot last for a long time if you oil them right
Why isnt the rubber on the heel all around?
I'm always watching these thinking "are those nails going to come up through the boot when I step down?" 😮 📌
A work of art!
We’re do you sell them, they look of very good quality and dob you customize boots
Just look up nicks boots. You should be able to find them pretty easy. They also have a lot of information on their TH-cam channel, so check out some of their other videos!

Not sure why handmade is good. Just expensive and leaves room for error.
I haven't found a boot that last in my line of work ill have to try this
Iv had luck with thorogood and redwings
Try nicks they are pricey but are built just like shown in this video.
Wow didn’t even realize this was a nicks post haha but for real try them.
My White boots are made the same exact way, good boots $600.00 bucks though.
I go threw boots about every 3-4 months I've had them all over the years
You need to get better boots lol and what you doin in them?
@Carl Stirling I've bought 80$ boots and 400$ they last the same amount of time but I burn them up ive done commercial and residential construction since the 90s and or auto repair. My GF just bought me a cheap pair of wolverines for 100$ in March they are about trashed I'm actually done with construction next month forever going to work for a friend's company just delivering stuff no more boots thank God cause they all hurt my feet and don't last
@@frankm8533 oh right,I got a pair of altberg warriors and they suit me but I don't do anything hard in them so they will last a while I hope,I payed £200 in the UK.
@Carl Stirling Gotcha I don't know that brand. I had decent luck with Timberland pros I did like their thick insole in the heel area that was nice but they are very heavy and after a few months the stitching inside came apart. I haven't tried Brunts band yet but they are Chinese made as well unfortunately then claim to be a US company but in the fine print its US owned so I'm sure they are junk to
I'm confused...why would someone want a low top logger boot? Not very comfortable for strapping on some gaffs.
Why's the heel so small like that?
This people make hell boots.the logger bc coast wear them.fort mcmurray ironworker, boilwrmaker, heavy equipment op&mechanic wear them.the price not cheap but are tough and rough and last.😊
Это красивая работа! Это должны быть прекрасные и, судя по работе - очень дорогие ботинки.

They range from $500-$700 USD and last usually 10-20 years

How does it not go through the sole? The initial nails?
