Keep improving! Tesla! I'm learning everyday as long as I'm living! I'm always a very curious person since I was born! Thank you for all of your endeaors! Dear Mr. Elon Musk! By the way, I'm proud of making in the United States 🇺🇸!

God bless Mr Elon musk 's

this charging tec. would be a boom for resturant industries.while your car is being charged, you are also being charged!

Sodium batteries - capitan Nemo. That would be another one for Jules Verne. The trip to the Moon, the U- Boat, Etc.

All of the sodium batteries are looking really good for the EV market, tablets, smart phones... and damn near anything that uses a battery. Thinking of the possibilities when a ipad pro is being operated by a watch battery with graphene display.

  • @seankelly5223

    thank you for this

  • @MozartificeR

Solid state sodium ion is very interesting.

I owned a battery manager that recharged disposable batteries, but the recharge power lost between 5-10% with each recharge. They banned the battery manager suggesting it was dangerous, yet these knobs suggest recharging a sodium battery which was previously considered disposable..??

The anode solid carbon rods have been used for many years in carbon arc lamps for antiaircraft lights, not sure of rod density but union carbide corp has all of that research documented.

aluminum ions have a greater energy capacity than sodium, because despite being slightly denser they provide three times more electrons than sodium, aluminum has a greater energy density than sodium and is slightly lower than lithium, but due to its abundance and cost is better.

Norway doesn't seem to have any problem with charging electric or running them in extreme cold weather

Na-ion batteries have about half of the li-ion energy density. So it means less range unless you double the battery pack. Not very practical (too much weight) ! Sodium will be a good solution to replace lithium in the Li-O2 batteries. This technology has a very high energy density.

Finding a non-Li battery for static applications would free up a lot of Li for mobile applications. Here there are some interesting possibilities when weight is no longer an important consideration. There are a couple of ZnBr batteries, a SbCa battery and a whole bunch based on Fe and V. What is great is that they all have characteristics that make them superior to Li batteries if you are no longer concerned with weight. They last far longer than Li batteries, pose no danger of spontaneous ignition, can be shipped fully discharged, are from elements which are readily and cheaply sourced from multiple suppliers. All they need is market share to become less expensive than Li batteries.

🍁 EV in Canada please ! The winters to cold, EV fires to hot , insurance crazy. New battery if you scrap the plastics.=$60 000.0 💸⛄💸

  • @Guitar6ty

Make cars with lighter materials would make sodium batteries go a lot further. Minimising the electrics with in the car would also reduce weight.

  • @dunckeroo1987

Solid oxide fuel cells look promising -- but is there a good absorption (low pressure) storage for natural gas. It would be a great hybrid if possible : 1/2 the power come from fuel cell and half from battery on acceleration or uphill climb.

Bring production of the plutonium battery

  • @PaulHigginbothamSr

Wow what you are saying is lithium sulfur batteries with a silicon anode could possibly reach 900 kwhrs/kilogram. Many times what is available today with the standard 40/80 cells. Short this battery and you would have a volcanic eruption.
